What a huge improvement. It makes scheduling, and especially modifying the schedule an easy task. I refer to it at least 50 times per day. I recommend this to anyone tasked with keeping up a schedule for more than a couple of employees. **What do you dislike about Resource Guru?** There's really nothing I 'dislike' about it, but a couple of improvements that I would love would be: 1) The ability to undo a move or other action. 2) The ability to randomly change the color of a particular booking, rather than just by client. I also enjoy being able to pin the colleagues that I work with the most at the top of my list, so that I do not have to search through the whole list to look at their diary in comparison to mine. The filter tool is also really good if trying to find times between two or more people that are free so that projects can be co-ordinated. **What do you dislike about Resource Guru?** I would really like to be able to get a summarised list of dates from a project without having to scroll throughout the whole year - although the days can be filtered out, it would be great to have them in a consolidated viewe **What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is allowing me to be able to quickly update project dates, without relying on paper diary to edit - so it is more accurate and more reliable when checking back on dates. It's a big part of my working day as i'm using it constantly. You know what appointment or workload each member of staff is scheduled for and if you need to make amendments or personnel intergrations it's just a click of a button or a drag of the mouse away. It means everyone knows their job requirements and any extra information can be loaded on to an engineer or personnels schedule for easy access and without the need to phone them every 5 minutes. It also keeps track of any time off, public holidays and annual leave for each person on the diary. And access to customer service is just as easy incase you need any additional support. If you need to plan around new customers or put a new member of staff on the schedule, implementation is a doddle. It makes working life a whole lot easier **What do you dislike about Resource Guru?** I can't think of anything I don't like about it. It really works well for us as a whole. **What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reaching multiple resources and relaying ALL of the required information simultaneously at the same time. It should be separate filters. It has really helped us with project planning with having this more straightforward resource allocation, eliminating of interscheduling overlaps. Especially, I really enjoy knowing for example who is working on which project so we don’t overwork anyone. Another bonus is that tasks can be drag and dropped in order to reassign them without a hassle. **What do you dislike about Resource Guru?** The one issue with Resource Guru is that it doesn’t itself offer enough flexibility when schedules are changed suddenly. However, it doesn’t feel easy to rearrange the assignments when a team member is suddenly unavailable or has a big task to execute. Moreover, the functionality of the mobile version is being somewhat limited, which can be frustrating if you have to handle resources on the go. However, during high speed work this can cause a slow decision making. **What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem of managing several projects with their resources was solved with Resource Guru. This has ended the confusion of double booking and misleading about who’s available for what tasks. This allows us to allocate resources in confidence with a good idea as to who is free at a given moment. Additionally, the amount of endless back and forth emails checking the availability has come down a lot and we have spent a ton of time and been able to focus on important priorities. ### 47. I am signed up to get emails when someone changes my schedule, and it doesn't seem like it always tells me the exact item that was added or changed. Other than than that, I don't believ I have any other dislikes. **What problems is Resource Guru solving and how is that benefiting you?** As long as it it properly maintained, it shows me who is working on what at that time and if they are available for work or more work.
