It is a product that can be productive in 3D printing. **What do you dislike about Repetier-Host?** I think that the quality of administrative controls can be increased with professional objects. Since it is a free software software I can use it perfectly with free code printers such as Prusa Iteration3. The 3D parts viewer is very easy to use and lightweight with most 3D parts that are imported to the platform. Modifying parameters in real time while the printer prints is quite useful, these parameters can be the fans, the Hot End or the hot bed, also its manual motor control is very useful and precise. **What do you dislike about Repetier-Host?** One of the points I do not like is that there are practically useless tools that do not help in the matter of 3D printing such as spindle and belt calculators. The software can get stuck when very complex 3D parts are imported to the plate, this also depends a lot on the processing capacity of the computer. Also the command screen although it is very useful can reach that very difficult to visualize the commands in detail, this by the size of the letters and the speed with which these codes move. **Recommendations to others considering Repetier-Host:** I recommend that all Makers associate this software with the Slic3r slicer as they both make a great synergy. Also that they have always updated the software since they are always fixing small errors presented by the tool. One of its best features is in manual control panel, with this panel you can control the temperature and movements in the X, Y, Z axes. We are also able to place more than 3 extruders and modify the dimensions of the printing plate at your convenience. Repetier Host is compatible with many Slic3r and Cura Slicers. It is an excellent free software that meets almost all the needs of users. **What do you dislike about Repetier-Host?** The program can take more than necessary to process a Slicing of a piece, it depends a lot on the graphic quality of the processor. Faults also occur when the layers are displayed in the program, sometimes they are offset with the real time of printing. It has very few options for modifying STL and OBJ parts. **Recommendations to others considering Repetier-Host:** I recommend using Slicer Slic3r to analyze your 3D pieces, the anointing of Repetier Host and Slic3r is very powerful and has nothing to envy to other 3D printing programs. The interface that I have dealt with was an old one. Still, the minimal options and the easy to follow user interface is well appreciable. One might feel that the options are quite less. However, you could start with the available options and tweak the specific needs based on the available options. **What do you dislike about Repetier-Host?** The default settings for a machine/system to be controlled by the repetier host is different and it is sometimes hard to figure out the same. For example, the baud rate. It took me a while to figure out the same for a deltabot printer that we have at our lab facility. This might not be something that's the mistake of the software. However, an automatic system to detect settings like these and prompt the use would make the software better. **Recommendations to others considering Repetier-Host:** Check the baud rate and try with the available numbers to match the device that you are using. The program gives you a great facility to configure endless parameters to the 3D printer used. the visualization of objects is friendly. Several Slicers can be added to the software, Repetier-Host is not limited to using one in particular. I really like that you can edit G codes to alter 3D prints. It is capable of adapting up to more than three extruders per 3D printer. Your Slicing Viewer is very useful when printing parts. **What do you dislike about Repetier-Host?** I dislike not being able to work in a network with several printers, it would be a very interesting addition to the platform. Sometimes when slicing an object the program tends to create errors. When an engine fails the Repetier-Host program ignores it and continues to print the part, this causes the part in question to be lost. It does not have a good interaction when slicing two pieces together, sometimes this creates flaws in the program. **Recommendations to others considering Repetier-Host:** Use only open source 3D printers **What problems is Repetier-Host solving and how is that benefiting you?** My company is based on 3D printing and all our projects are printed using the Repetier-Host software, thanks to its ease and versatility when it comes to modifying the G-codes we have been able to print a large number of multicolored pieces, thanks to this It has helped us to create a constant cash flow to our income as a company.
