Octoprint gives me the ability to remotely monitor and control prints on my printers. The web interface is simple yet full featured and it can be made to work with all of my 3d printers. It also allows me to start prints when I am away so I can be more productive. Having a web cam lets me see if there are flaws so I can cancel a print before I waste too much material. The only issues I have had with OctoPrint is if I cancel a print and try to restart it. Sometimes a restarted print will fail right away. I have found that you can not cancel during warm up. Instead, cancel right after and it negates the issue. Cura slicing has not worked properly for me built in OctoPrint. It would be nice if that integration was corrected so it was useful again.
