Quirkos helps researchers explore qualitative text: managing sources, tagging and coding, and developing frameworks to understand connections in their projects. Bring in text from transcripts, documents, PDFs, websites and on-line surveys, and explore them all in one place. Live visualizations keep users close to the data, and show trends as they emerge. An easy-to-use interface increases coding speed, and allows users to get going fast. Flexible and visual reports allow findings to be shared in creative and accessible ways, including Word and PDF export.

**What do you like best about Quirkos?**

Simple software for visualizing our thematic search process and identifying categories within our textual data. It does not require complex training for its use and maintains a minimalist interface, ideal for quick qualitative analysis.

**What do you dislike about Quirkos?**

A negative point of the software is the inability to work with other non-textual data sources, that is, information captured in multimedia formats (videos, images, audios). Additionally, it does not support text document formats in older versions of Office (.doc), or from other providers such as OpenOffice (.odt), nor digital book formats (.mobi, .epub).

**What problems is Quirkos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly start the identification of themes or codes and identification of categories in our interviews, saving time and effort for an exploratory analysis.

Save searches sometimes very slow
It performs only a basic word searches


**What problems is Quirkos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Writting scripts and fast coding with help of shortcut keys and color coded to print and share any highlights
