Tracking real costs to the business of where peopel are spending time on fee based services and ensuring our cost recovery model is accurate has also been an added bonus. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** There is'nt really much to dislike, its a very powerful all-in-one project management tool, which means all of your data and information is in one place. It takes a while to understand how everything links together, but the training covers this, and once you start using it, it starts to make sense. But the thing that stands out is the flexibility to use the API to integrate various other tools. We have linked our CRM to Projectworks, so when the deal is signed it pushes the job to Projectworks without manual capture. Projectworks has allowed us to keep track of works in progress, assign different user permissions for handling financial reporting and invoicing. We've found the forecasting and resourcing tools are also very useful and it is easy to use. We have now been able to double the size of our team using Projectworks. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** You can bulk import your data as part of the onboarding process. But can't bulk import additional data later, so make sure you have your structure set up at outset. This is a great piece of software, better dashboards and report functions would make it better, but you can easily export data if you need detailed financial analysis. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Timesheets is what we needed primarily, but the software allows you to have far more financial visibility of your projects. Very powerful! **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** It can do with a change log so that you can see what others migt have changed to your projects. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's nearly a one-stop-shop to manage projects. The reporting dashboards are great and the integration to Xero saves a significant amount of time. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** There is some additional functionality available in other project management systems I have used but given the price differential the additional cost is not worth it. Projectworks is priced very competitively. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing consulting projects when the client is closely monitoring the burn on the PO and requires frequent reporting on time worked and invoiced is so easy with ProjectWorks. I appreciated the onboarding process, where they took our existing data and translated it to the projectworks format - saved a bunch of setup, and meant we could keep historic project data. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** The xero integration isn't quite as smooth as I'd like - synching invoices requires extra manual clicks, particularly if you need to edit an invoice. I'd also like invoice templating to be more flexible - it's pretty good, but I've had to set up multiple invoice templates for each currency we invoice in - I can't populate the bank account number based on the invoice currency. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Projectworks is a core part of our business processes. We've found Projectworks is much more powerful and has a number more features and integrations available that we haven't previously had available to us. When we've had questions, we've been able to reach out to the team and get responses in a timely manner. **What do you dislike about Projectworks?** Professional services organisations all work in different ways, and we've found that assumptions made in the product for other organisations may not fit well with us. For example, how we consider utilisation (i.e. billable hours of available billable work) is not how it is considered within Projectworks, where it's considered as billed hours on projects, whether or not there were hours available. **What problems is Projectworks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project management and resource utilisation primarily through our consultancy.
