**What do you like best about Product School?**

I recently participated in this 6-week virtual Product Management certification course, and it was an outstanding experience. The course structure seamlessly blended self-paced pre-work modules with engaging instructor-led sessions.

The pre-work modules were meticulously crafted, providing in-depth insights into the subject matter. The detailed content was enriched with diagrams, informative videos, real-world samples, ready-to-use templates, and knowledge checks, making it a comprehensive and accessible resource. These modules not only equipped us with the fundamentals but also ensured we could apply them effectively.

The instructor-led modules were where the course truly shone. Our instructor, Anjaly Joseph, played a pivotal role in making these sessions valuable. Her adept management of the cohort ensured that the fast-paced, interactive sessions were both effective and enjoyable. She fostered a collaborative atmosphere that encouraged active learning and participation. Her guidance and feedback were instrumental in our growth as Product Managers.

The group work during these sessions was a highlight, providing practical, hands-on experience in creating various documents and presenting them to the cohort. This approach not only reinforced our understanding but also allowed us to apply our knowledge in a real-world context.

Overall, this course was a well-rounded learning journey, and the combination of well-structured pre-work modules and the invaluable instructor-led sessions made it a truly exceptional experience. I feel more confident and well-prepared in the field of Product Management thanks to this course, and I am deeply grateful for our instructor's guidance and expertise.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

It may be beneficial to explore options for improving the accessibility and ease of finding instructor-led presentations on the website.

Also, my class is on a Saturday, so responses take a bit of time when I need support. However, I was always assisted by the Support team.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The course has been valuable in preparing me for our team's reorganization, where each platform will have its dedicated product manager.

  ### 3. A diverse learning experience and great way to bring your general PM knowledge up a some levels!

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I completed Product School's Product Manager Certificate course and enthusiastically award it a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career in product management.

My instructor for the cohort was Anjaly Joseph, she has a lot of experience to reference and the whole group learned a lot from her.

Product School's standout feature is its comprehensive course material. They offer a well-structured curriculum that covers all aspects of the general product management role. What I appreciate most is their flexible approach to learning, which includes video tutorials, written resources, and engaging live sessions. This diversity accommodates various learning styles.

The live sessions are interactive and provides a sense of community. They are complemented by the guided videos and written resources, which serve as valuable references long after the course ends.

Product School's emphasis on personal responsibility is a distinctive feature. It encourages students to take ownership of their learning journey, preparing them for the decision-making and problem-solving inherent in the product manager role.

In summary, the Product Manager Certificate course at Product School is a well-rounded and professional experience. It equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in product management. I'm extremely satisfied with this program and look forward to applying my newfound expertise in my future career. I wholeheartedly recommend Product School to aspiring product managers.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

One minor aspect I encountered during my course was related to the new course structure introduced to my cohort. In some instances, it seemed that we lacked clear qualifying requirements for assignments, making it a bit challenging to gauge the success or failure of our presentations. However, it's worth noting that as the course continued, these issues gradually resolved, and I believe that Product School will continue to refine and enhance the experience for future cohorts. This minor hiccup did not significantly detract from the overall value and quality of the program.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School is effectively solving the challenge of transitioning back into the field of product management for me. After previously working as an assisting product manager and handling various product management tasks in different roles, I needed a structured and comprehensive program to refine my skills and prepare me for a more senior product management role. Product School's in-depth curriculum, hands-on approach, and industry insights have provided me with the knowledge and confidence required to excel in the field of product management. It's not only helped me bridge the gap but also given me the tools to thrive in this dynamic and competitive industry.

  ### 4. Excellent for aspiring PMs or for implementing Product Management concepts into your current role

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amogh M. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Product School has been an incredible learning experience for me. The structure of the course stands out right away. It's jam-packed with valuable insights, and it's clear they've brought in real industry professionals to deliver the content. They've built the programme such that even someone who is absolutely new to Product Management can hop right in and start studying. With my background in Software Engineering, I was curious about the dynamics of the class, but I found a diverse group: designers, data analysts, marketers, and more. And that's where Anjaly Joseph, our instructor, truly shined. Anjaly seamlessly integrated real-life examples into our sessions, making complex concepts relatable. She wasn't just amicable and approachable; she had this knack for molding our thinking, guiding us to think and act like seasoned Product Managers.

The course is designed so that you dive into modules each week and then apply what you've learned in hands-on sessions. These are not passive classes; they are active workshops in which we practise module topics in groups. It's a fun approach to reinforce learning while also getting a taste of real-world Product Management.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

A lot of students in our group had issues on the Mural platform and weren't aware of the self-study sessions. Product School could smooth this out by scheduling a short 30-minute orientation before our first hands on session to ensure everyone's on track and aligned!

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School addresses several challenges for those keen on venturing into the product management arena or enhancing their existing PM skills.

Knowledge Gap -
Many people who want to transfer into product management have a gap in knowing the complexities of the profession. Product School provides a structured programme that covers key PM concepts from concept to launch and beyond.
Practical Experience -
Simply knowing theoretical concepts is insufficient. Product School focuses on real-world scenarios and hands-on activities to give students a taste of real-world product management challenges.
Networking -
The Slack community at Product School links students to business experts, creating essential networking possibilities.
Mentorship -
Their courses, which are frequently taught by business professionals, offer mentorship in addition to training. The learning process is made more individualised by the direction, experiences, and feedback provided by these mentors.

For me personally,
- Interacting with diverse peers and instructors has broadened my perspective, making me appreciate the multifaceted nature of product management.
- The certification, combined with the networking opportunities, has positioned me better in the job market and opened doors that were previously hard to access.

**What do you like best about Product School?**

PS uses experienced PM practitioners who offer practical, real-world advice to guide you through the program. I had an amazing lecturer, Mr. Gordon, who was experienced and always open to addressing your concerns.

The program was holistic in that, apart from taking me through the product lifecycle stages, I was also taught how to use various software and tools PMs utilize and apply them to particular scenarios.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I actually didn't have any dislikes. The course was structured well; the Lecturers were experienced and very helpful. The student support service was very good. Overall I had a wonderful experience.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am new to the Product Management space, and needed hands-on, practical training. Product School's program opened the doors to a new world, yet I did not feel lost. I felt empowered and received the knowledge and guidance needed. I have been given a solid foundation to start my PM journey.

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The product management course by Product school is one of the best investment by an aspiring product manager.
The course clearly breaks down the fundamentals of product management in a software company.
And having a Tutor like Lenworth Gordon is a cherry on the icing.
Definitely one of the highlights in my career. Built some great relationships during the 8 week course. Highly recommend the course and if you get a chance, try to get Lenworth as your tutor.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

None at this point. Quite happy with everything

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fundamentals of product management

  ### 7. I highly recommend the Product School

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I recently completed the Product School program with my cohort and overall, it was a great experience. The lessons were well-structured and easy to follow, making it a great resource for anyone hoping to connect the various aspects of product management.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

However, we did experience an untimely extension due to our instructor having to take leave mid-program. Thankfully, Lenworth could take over and continue guiding us through the rest of the lessons. While I appreciated the content, I wish there were more hands-on sessions to reinforce my understanding. Also, the Docebas was not user-friendly; maybe another system would be better.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School helps solve the knowledge gap for individuals looking or already in Product. I personal benefited by learning how to connect my various product experience.

  ### 8. Great Instructors

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The instructor of the course was very knowledgeable and an active product leader at Amazon. It was great having his perspective on the course materials and the work.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

The final project was a group project. I understand why it was a group project, but I would have preferred being graded on an individual project.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to transition into a product role at my current company. The process has started, and overall, I'm happy with the value of the course.

  ### 9. A solid introduction to Product Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Course: The curriculum is comprehensive and a fantastic introduction to anyone who has not previously worked in product roles. If you have product experience, one of the advanced courses may be better suited. That said, I would treat the course as a starting point in the journey rather than the destination itself. This is because, while broad, the curriculum doesn't explore the topics in depth. This is not a complaint because much of product management is contextual and challenging to teach, let alone in a 2-month part-time course. The course equips one with the tools and framework to apply to different product management situations. There are a lot of resources in the form of articles, videos, templates, and exercises that can be used to explore topics of interest further.

My instructor, Ivan Iannaccone, brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. While I cannot speak for other instructors, Ivan was sincere, extremely approachable, and supportive throughout the course. Although his first time teaching, he quickly familiarized himself with the resources and tools and hit his stride pretty early. In my opinion, Ivan's value shines through when he is fielding questions from the cohort. He is able to dive into his own experiences to provide unique and useful insights and also willing to meet the students offline to answer questions and help them through specific challenges they may be facing in their workplaces. It was a pleasure to learn from him.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

My only gripe with the course was the quality of some of the exercises and resources. At the price point, I would expect everything to be seamless, but that wasn't always the case.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A comprehensive introduction to product management topics and building credibility as a product manager.

  ### 10. Best Upskill course for Product Managers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Varun K. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The course covers the whole gamut of Product Management, from building roadmaps, leading engineers, and stakeholders to visioning and strategy. The course also offered a wide range of templates needed for Product Management, which were very useful. The instructor (Sreekanth Bhattiprolu) was amazing in sharing real-life experiences with us and making the course more interactive with team discussions. All participants were actively engaging and sharing their experiences at work on every topic, which was very interesting to learn about different perspectives at different workplaces. Product School also builds a good community which goes a long way in networking. Overall, I would recommend Product School.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

It would have been more helpful if the courses had more sessions included so that everything could be addressed in detail without concern about course timeline

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School is helping to build a good platform for the product managers community for learning, sharing ideas & networking.

  ### 11. Great course and suite of services for product professionals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben B. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Product School provides comprehensive offerings for product professionals to advance their careers. Beyond the high-quality instructor-led courses, students are empowered to make the experience their own and maximize value. What excited me most was joining an active global community of product managers and leaders. There are also mentorship, career coaching, and networking opportunities. I also appreciated having access to concrete tools and templates that can be leveraged on the job.

I took the Product Leadership Course with Lenworth G. The learning modules included real-world content. The slides were insightful and Lenworth's voiceover gave helpful context, drawing from his extensive experience in the field. The cohort was encouraged to engage in group discussions—an important piece for me, hearing about other people's experiences in different industries working on different products, what challenges they face, and how they approach them. Lenworth made himself available for additional coaching outside of class time, which I greatly appreciated. I expect to stay in touch with Lenworth for years to come.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I would have liked more guidance to optimize my time BETWEEN course sessions. For example, where to find take-home activities in the LMS and how to prepare for the next session.

That being said, I encourage future students to self-structure. Carve out a few hours between sessions to re-read the last module's slides and preview the next module's slides. Lenworth frequently shared articles/materials from around the web related to ongoing course content. These were solid reads outside of class time.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping product managers navigate their careers in a complex professional landscape.

  ### 12. Learning by working on projects and the industry experience by Ivan created a solid introduction

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Data Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I enjoyed the online course even though I was in an unfortunate situation of being in a class taught in Pacific Time, but living in the East Coast. The course is laid out in 2 parts:

First, is where we have to go through the self-study sessions. These sessions include a lot of theory and typically take about an hour or so to get enough information to be able to collaborate fully in the class, but are also filled with other resources including articles, blogs, videos, and an intro to multiple PM tools.

Second, is a review of the self-study lead by Ivan and then an interactive session working on a project to help internalize the material. These sessions would include breaking up into random breakout rooms and matching with different individuals in the class to work on a different part of the product lifecycle. Ivan did a wonderful job in creating a truly interactive and safe space where people were excited to collaborate and truly pick eachothers brains. At the end of each interactive session there would be a review of the project we had done by having teams share theire project and then Ivan would provide feedback. I really benefited from this portion of the course as we are given an opportunity to pick eachothers minds and this is also how I like to learn things.

My instructor, Ivan Iannaccone, brought vast industry knowledge and experience to the table. He was very approachable, sincere and supportive throughout the course. It was his first time teaching the course and we did struggle with technical difficulties to start, but he was quick to familiarize himself with the resources and tools and quickly created a space where we can learn seamlessly. I think the majority of the class benefited the most when he was fielding questions at the end of each lesson because he is able to dive into his own experience to provide unique insights on how to approach certain situations. However, I benefited the most since he did a wonderful job in providing energy for the course by instilling confidence in me as it was clear he truly believed that everyone in the class was more than capable of a successful career in Product and wants nothing but success for everyone in the course. It was truly a pleasure to learn from him.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

For the price of the course there were quite a bit of technical difficulties and things were not very seamless. There were also some inconsistency with the material that could have been captured earlier vs later during class.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A comprehensive introduction to Product Management with tools and a network to start a career in Product Management.

**What do you like best about Product School?**

After contemplating & waiting for the last two years whether to join in person or an online product management course at Product School, I decided to join Online product classes after a quick chat with the onboarding team. Online courses and experiences have been unique and seamless with great fellow peers and excellent product management instructor – Shreekanth Bhattiprolu. Class experience included product management specifics, brainstorming sessions, case studies, building your network, social interactions, learning how to apply the product management skills on your job or simply enhancing your skills. The class format is well structured to address all student personas interested in product management with different experiences. Shreekanth has been a great instructor, super helpful and supportive, approachable & an excellent mentor. His insights into the product manager role, expectations and what it takes to be a good product manager were truly remarkable!
Looking forward to joining advanced product management courses as well. I am now a Product School brand and course advocate!

  ### 14. Course content is very good and the approach of learning by doing (projects) worked so well for me.

Gerald (our instructor) was excellent - very knowledgeable, has vast industry experience, is very approachable, and is a great instructor for the course.
The study material/course content is excellent.
Preparing for class ahead of time and working on team projects during the course were very effective for me.
The course is perfect for having strong Product management fundamentals.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Nothing specific. I am yet to take test and go over resume review / interviews.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem : In need of Knowledge about product management fundamentals

  ### 15. Great course, great value, great instructor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirati A. | Pre-seed Investor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I enjoyed the online course. It was well planned and laid out, easy for me to follow.

The course is laid out in 2 parts essentially:

First, is where we had to go through the self-study sessions (usually 2 hrs - just enough, so I could finish everything with enough time, learn about the topics and not feel overloaded and rushed) These sessions include theory(from Ideation to launch and retrospective) and learning tools that the PMs use currently like Mural, Figma, Gainsight, Sprig, etc,.

Second, is the fun part where you are in an interactive session led by an instructor and work on a real-life problem/case study. These sessions include working with the students(there were 15 people in my cohort) and learning about industry practices from the instructor who has been working in the industry as a Product Manager. Anjaly Joseph, PM at Google, led our cohort. Anjaly did an amazing job of communicating and making it a more intimate arrangement. A lot of online courses fail because of isolation. While guiding us with some industry insights, she had us work on the entire product life cycle and let us be creative with it! We worked in teams and came up with solutions and had a discussion where Anjaly would act as a stakeholder or engineer etc, to prepare us and to carry out skills in the real world. I was lucky to be in a cohort led by her - she’d also make us aware of PM tools and give us suggestions for books that are good for more in-depth knowledge. I think it’s a very solid course. I learned a lot.

One of the very refreshing things is the access to all the resources that come with this course - like templates that could be used in your company, slack channel for networking, career coaching, resume review and mock interviews on Product school channels. If you utilize as many resources as possible, the course is of great value - even for newbies like me who are a rookie in the field of Product!

TL;DR Informative course, Interactive, you get many resources, get to network, Instructor is a product manager from big tech, great value for the price.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Many students in my cohort didn’t have links to the Mural whiteboard and didn’t know about the self-study sessions. It could be very easily fixed if the Product School keeps a 30 mins session before the 1st instructor lead session, wherein we can make sure everybody is on the same page!

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Product Schools accommodates students from all the fields and teaches them how to excel in the Tech domain or any domain for that matter. Also, the tools used could be used immediately and helps stay updated with what the industry is using these days

  ### 16. Great for aspiring PMs or even for incorporating the aspects of a PM role in any other job

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheel Raj A. | Director, Implementation Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The content was designed well overall for beginners. Eva Feng who was our instructor did a great job delivering the content and also sharing snippets from her personal experiences as examples. I am not a PM yet but do work with them daily, so the course helped me understand their role much better and develop more empathy for them. I look forward to giving PM role a try in my current job.
Will recommend the course to anyone looking to learn or switch into PM role.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

There were some instances where Mural links or content was different between what Coach was seeing vs what students saw. Mural product is good but generally not intuitive to work with, especially when you have limited time to complete in class activities.

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

Please try to make sure all in-class activities are done in the context of the final product you are trying to design for your presentation. Sometimes it can be confusing.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I worked with the PMs but had little idea about how much decision-making, coordination, and convincing go behind the scenes. Even if am not able to pick up PM tasks or a role in future, it now helps me better collaborate with them.

  ### 17. Great content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joaquín S. | Product manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

It was a great experience, our mentor not just only presented the class content but share her experience as a PM at Meta, her day-to-day difficulties and valuable tips that I will never forget.

I really recommend this course for every passionate product person, it doesn'tt matter your background, but if you want to do great products in your career this is the right place to start.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

The learning platform could be better, at the bigining some of the students get lost. Also it would be nice to have easy access to download all the content of the course.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its serves as a guideline on how to start in product management role. It helps also with job searching and interviews, which is very valuable for people that want to make a transition.

  ### 18. Step to step guide for beginners

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin S. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

To learn from the experiences of some of the best instructors in several industries. Also training beginner product managers on multiple tools like Mixpanel, Google Analytics etc

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Although there are multiple free resources available but if there are some content available on how to crack PM interviews then it will become much more beneficial for beginners

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

One who wants to make his career in product management and needs to understand how crucial a role a product manager is playing in a company needs to go through Product school certification courses

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I was working in a startup and was not completely aware of all the tools and what kind of processes and tools needs to be used. Courses of Product school helps me a lot during that

  ### 19. PMC is worthwhile; PLC not so much

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor I. | Product Manager, Client Implementation & Integrations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The Product Management Certificate (PMC) provided comprehensive context for someone to break into product management and understand the required skills to do the job well. Many individuals (including myself) worked in product adjacent roles and enjoyed thought-provoking discussions, content, and mentorship. As a current product manager, I would say that the PMC prepared me well. Furthermore, the PMC course and instructor helped prepare me to break into product management.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Regarding the Product Leader Certificate (PLC), I felt like the class didn't provide any extra benefit, and the curriculum was outdated. There were times when the students (including the instructor) mentioned that the slide and content were not as applicable or helpful in the professional context. Some discussion prompts came from very left field, because they didn't have any relation to the content we were learning. I didn't get a feeling that the classes were well prepped if the slides were being questioned by the instructor and the instructor was reading the slides word for word without too much additional context/examples.

Moreover, we learned introduction to statistics, SQL, and python, which felt very unnecessary. For example, we spent a significant amount of time in class learning about how to take an average, mean, median, and mode, which felt very basic knowledge that most participants would already have. Also, we learned introduction to coding, which was always prefaced with "you will not need this for your day to day job, you don't need to remember all the exact coding language," which made some of us question why we were following a SQL/Python workbook to learn basic coding language. The instructor would place us in zoom breakout rooms to follow a script to learn coding, which felt like we were just reading a page out of a textbook and trying out test problems without fully understanding the purpose of the activity. As a product leader course, I was not expecting to spend hours of time learning how to write a script that I would not actually do in my day to day job.

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

The PMC is most worthwhile but I would not waste my money on the PLC.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was attempting to learn product management and break into the field of product management. I have gained those benefits as someone new to the world of product. I was also seeking to learn product leadership skills of learning how to facilitate teams and fostering organizational change.

  ### 20. Amazing experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aziz I. | Vice President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I loved how the PMC course provided hands-on training with the learning modules taught in the course. It was very beneficial for people outside of the PM world to bring in and utilize their transferable skill set and get a real taste of what the day-to-day of a PM can potentially look like.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I wish there was more training on using certain applications -- specifically for road mapping and A/B testing. I also wish there was more emphasis on making data-driven decisions. At the end of the day, you need to put in a lot of time and it can be tough while working full time.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School helped me gain a better understanding of how to work with other PMs and stakeholders and how to deepen those relationships. When you know what a person's day looks like and what their goals are, you can adjust your interactions to create the most value for both parties.

Thanks to my instructor Anjaly Joseph, who is filled with wealth of knowledge and experience. This wouldn't have happened without you!

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Nothing I can think of! All the hype is so true, love the people, coaching and most importantly access to world's product people is amazing. Thanks Product School!

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This PMC course has helped me validate my existing skillset, learn new frameworks and set the path to become a top notch Product Manager!

  ### 22. Good for PMs starting in their career

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lourenço C. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The course is an excellent way for early PMs to acquire more knowledge and have better references when looking for frameworks that help us to make better decisions in our daily activities. The experience of having the course live with people with different product backgrounds certainly makes it richer.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Once the course goes over a lot of topics in a short period of time, we don't go deep enough into each one of them.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acquire more knowledge as a PM

  ### 23. Great Course

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit I. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The instructor of the course gave a broad perspective on the field of product management with examples from the industry.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Not all group exercises were helpful for me.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I got a perspective on the role of PM in other organizations from what I know in my organization

  ### 24. Product Management Certificate Course - Great Instructor!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya S. | VP, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The instructor was amazing! We had Jyoti B. She has extensive knowledge, great demeanor, shares a lot of experiences, and tips from her great product management career at top tech companies. She also provides very relevant and personalized constructive feedback for improvement in the right set up. She is very enthusiastic and positive. Course content is very comprehensive and informative. For anyone who is looking to start into product management, this course is great!

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Course content is very compreshensive, however sometimes (a couple, not many) it is not structured well i.e. doesn't clearly flow from product lifecycle perspective. Also, the portal where course materials are stored is a bit stodgy - hard to quickly navigate around.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increased understanding of product lifecycle management and product management role.

  ### 25. Learning Af(F)air

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikhil K. | Vice President of Product - Digital Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The instruction was very engaging, sharing HandsOn experiences on all aspects of Product Management. I could correlate with my experiences and implement some of them in my day-to-day activities. The instructor also explained how to handle the different animals of product, product roadmaps, strategy and validating hypothesis to roll out that first version of MVP. Overall the session was helpful, and I would recommend it to fellow product members

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I was expecting a little bit on the leading and lagging indicators and managing when some of them don't align with our MVP. This could have been a cherry on the cake had it been covered.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am building the next-gen fintech product by enabling customers to fulfill their needs over conversational platforms like Chatbot and WhatsApp. The session has given me critical insights on handling the different stakeholders while implementing solutions. The banking and Financial services industry is always full of limitations from a regulatory and risk perspective. And after this, we get questions on adoptions.

The session has helped me identify such animals in product management and deal with them. Also, how to effectively manage the product roadmap and align business goals and strategy with the product backlog

  ### 26. Crash course in a week.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shewit A. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The instructor was extremely talented and was able to get through all of the material in the shortened timeline. I learnt multiple concepts that helped me get started with tools like Figma/Adobe XD/Scrum Tools. The overall experience of a virtual classroom and team activities with people in different companies was also great.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

For a crash course, we did skip some of the homework, which may have required more time. Some team activities could have achieved a more polished product if we had more time. It also depended on people's experience on what you could achieve in those team activity sessions, and so everyone learned different things in their randomly formed teams.

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

The crash course worked for me as I took a week off work to attend this course. The longer version may work for some people.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gave structure to the process of product development. The course heavily leans toward software product development, but I was able to apply many concepts to hardware development as well.

  ### 27. Great learning opportunity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophia K. | Program Manager, Video Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I had quite the unique experience with PS, in the sense that I had multiple people teach my class. It gave me greater exposure into varying experiences of people who are in the industry, which I know is not the case for most students.
I still reference old notes in my current day to day and would say that the class grew my product sense and love for product thinking.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I would've preferred to take this class remotely (I took this class pre-Covid days). I opted for a weekend course and it took a huge chunk out of my weekend to make it to this class. The location was never ideal and I had to pay for all day parking each weekend. It was worth it but would've preferred to save money and take the class remotely.

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

If you are serious about digging your heels further into product, would highly recommend. The biggest benefit outside of gaining deeper product sense were the presentations at the end of the course and interview prep.
I also attended product school events while they were still hosted in person and that was also great exposure to the industry.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product school helped me to solve problems related to operational workflows in internal tools. I am able to build out scope and define product problems with prioritization.

  ### 28. Best Product management course available out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jatin W. | Product Owner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Course content , lecturer and the other colleagues

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Course could have been longer and content could have been more elaborative

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It teaches us how to be a good product manager

  ### 29. Great choice for Aspiring Product Managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahesh K. | Marketing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I am an Aspiring PM and this PMC Course was my best shot to get an understanding of the role and job of a PM. My facilitator Alex Alwan was an absolute delight to work with. He is always willing to answer questions and has thrown various real-life examples from his experience to help us understand the concepts.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

More related to Logistics, the pre-learning module is confusing to navigate also the mails to mentoring sessions won't reach your inbox, apart from these rest are fine. Course wise its very good and a good value addition

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I got an opportunity to be a PM for a imaginary company, my trainer Alex also encouraged us to build our own pet project which inculcated us to implement the concepts we learnt on class and sessions

  ### 30. Best Product Management learning experience at the moment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

It has a lot of free materials and content for a beginner to initiate. Likewise, it has well-designed learning pathways for students to progress through. I would easily recommend Product School to any product management enthusiast.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I wish they had further reachable and affordable partner programs and consultations for organizations that try to grow in the product management space. They should try to create mini-programs to help small companies that struggle with specific PM concepts or use cases.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been actively trying to navigate the PM space as a beginner. The product school is helping me to improve my existing PM skills and showing me the gaps I need to fill. As a person who comes from a development background, this helps me.

  ### 31. Fantastic Experience!

**Reviewed by:** Paulina M. | Senior Director of Product Management & Analytics at Tableau, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I really enjoyed the learning environment our instructor (Satadal Bhattacharjee) created. I got to learn from him, but also from my peers. The material was relevant and engaging. Above all, the class was made more special by drawing from the real-world experiences of folks in the classroom. Overall, I enjoyed both PMC and PLC programs

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I would have like to spend more on product strategy.

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

If you are considering a career in product management, I highly recommend product school

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School programs have. helped me fill in the gaps in my product management knowledge.

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I like the group work, it was great meeting other people also Mat the teacher was really helpful he always had really good examples

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

It would be great if it was longer so we can go even more deep on other topics =)

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

Product school is great to learn new things and meeting people all over the world that have similar roles as you and can bring value to your life as a PL.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I took the course to learn and apply it on my day to day as a product leader

  ### 33. Very good certification to transition to product management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin C. | Médecin généraliste, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

online materials could be better espacially to search information

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help transitioning into product management

  ### 34. Great Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chonda S. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

I had the best experience at Product School. I learned all about product management from Product Managers at Google, Meta, YouTube, etc., I learned how to launch a product from beginning to end, and I was able to network with product leaders worldwide. Additionally, I got a position at Visa as a product manager after receiving my certification.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I wish there were more free resources for interview preparation and a more formalized process for reviewing resumes.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School gave me a better understanding of a day in the life of a product manager, it introduced me to tools and resources used to solve problems, and it gave me a good foundation for best practices in the industry.

  ### 35. Product Management Certificate

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tejaswini R. | Business Analyst / Quality Assurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Access to various tools
Learning material

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

You miss going through the pre-session and you are lost for the class.Maybe we should look into increasing the class length more.
The presenter and student mural section most of the times did not match.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving one platform where can find alot of useful resources , tools and like minded people.

  ### 36. Product School, Great for aspiring or existing product managers! Does not disappoint.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake B. | Head Of Product / Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Great instructors, very knowledgeable and use real-world examples.
I like the format of the expedited 5-day course, and the workshops and group work to implement what you have learnt.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I felt that a 7 day expedited course would have been better as certain areas of topics were rushed, having two extra days would have allowed both more time to dive deeper into topics, but also more practical exercises.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to confirm my existing PM skills and fill in any gaps where I have been self-taught.
The course has given me greater confidence in my abilities as well as enabled me to utilse new skills within my career.

  ### 37. Product School Review from a New Product Worker

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel E. | Data Activation Analyst, Data Ad Products, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Product School is a fantastic overview of how the product function works and creates value within organizations. I liked my instructor best as he specifically used examples from his day-to-day.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

The practice of a product manager is a bit too broad to fully understand and become fluent in after just this course alone, and ceratin users of product school may not fully know that upon entry.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School allows a person to gain a strong overview-level of understanding of what a Product Manager does to provide value to an organization. I have benefitted from it by understanding my product team more deeply and contributing more effectively.

  ### 38. A one stop shop for all your Product management learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramanathan Y. | Agile Coach, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The lessons curated with industry experts which will help you to learn the art of product management from industry experts and also gain knowledge to shine on roles

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

Nothing to see, if more number of free master class and some free short course will help folks understand the quality of the content which will help you gain more learners

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understood the expectations from product manager as a role in product organizations and can train my product owners internally on what is to be needed from their roles and emphasize their responsibilities clearly

  ### 39. Learn Product Management in the most systematic way possible.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raghunath B. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

The way the course is designed. I did love the Live sessions which helped me in understanding each person's perspective about Problem Solving. But, the Pre-read content from Product School is so good.
You know what you are learning and where you are going to implement it as a Product Manager.
Keep up the great work, Product School.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Product School.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have developed the way you think at Product School. The Critical and Lateral thinking and how do you approach a problem and the way to streamline the solution for the same problem.

  ### 40. A great product resource and community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bora O. | Sr. Manager, Product Management

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Great experience. I have been a member of Product School for 3 years and especially in the last 2 years, I joined #ProductCon multiple times. It is a great organization that keeps you up to date, improves your product management skills, and helps you meet new people who have similar interests to you.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

The interactivity could be improved. It is sometimes too hard to catch the discussion with the high number of comments in parallel.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to learning new things, you can use product school conferences to grow your network, discuss with people on particular subjects, and so on.

  ### 41. Good Value

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis W. | Director of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Product School?**

As a startup product leader who has spent all his time in startups, it was valuable to me to interact with product leaders from different industries and backgrounds.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

1. The time necessary to go through the course material did not leave enough time for the group activities.
2. Clearer direction on the group activities.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I came into product school with three objectives:
1. Improve data driven strategy
2. Level up organization and structure of how the product is done at my company
3. Add a qualification to my resume.

I believe i achieved 2 & 3. The data-driven strategy could have gone a bit further in my opinion.

An additional benefit that i was not expecting was in the final project. The output of this project ended up driving real value and insights into what we are focusing on.

  ### 42. Highly recommended!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny J. | Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Product School?**

Loved the PMC course. Great content and very hands-on experience where you're actually practicing the skills you're learning in class with your group. My instructor was Deepak Krishnakumar who is the product lead at Glovo. He is so good. Regularly brought real-world examples to the class and could speak knowledgeably about the concepts because he lives them every day. Highly recommend the program for anyone wanting to become a PM or improve their PM skills.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

It's pretty quick. A lot of classes and content smashed into a short time period. They will really push you to do the work.

**Recommendations to others considering Product School:**

For me, it was so valuable. Loved what I learned as what I was able to bring back to my organization.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, just wrapping my head around the process and steps that can be involved in the product process. Feel more organized, better vision for the product I'm leading

How to onboard everyone to a Product Way of Working and being data and strategy driven.

Learning and unlearning are crucial elements in product management, the frameworks discussed in the courses enable me to adapt to change much faster - and ship features much faster.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I attended the ProductCon event. I was impressed with the format of it, using the different rooms. I was really impressed with the calibre of speakers that were involved, really great insight into different industries and products.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

There was very little to dislike. I'm from the UK so didn't stay until the end because it was late here but that can't be helped.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company is fairly behind when it comes to product management and agile ways of working. Its great to see how other companies are doing this, ways of working, mindsets etc. I can use all this to push our company to more efficient ways of working.

  ### 49. PMC course review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Product School?**

It was absolutely a great course, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to venture into the field of product management. The experiential-based learning with lots of group activities and project work deepened my understanding of key product management concepts. The course not only taught key PM concepts but also emphasized career skills such as presentation skills, public speaking, resume preparations, and so on. As well, learning from experts in the field was a value addition.

**What do you dislike about Product School?**

I found that the course length was fast-paced for me as I am in a full-time job, and we had two sessions per week which didn't give me sufficient time to be prepared.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I deepened my understanding.

  ### 50. Product Management Certificate

Inspite of having industry product managers teaching, I still feel the course was a little theoretical.

**What problems is Product School solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product School helped me realize the skills that I needed and helped develop those skills to lead product at any institution.
