**What do you like best about Planable?**

I love how intuitive and collaborative Planable is. It allows me to visually plan content across multiple platforms and clients in one place, with real-time previews that make editing and approvals so much easier. The comment and approval system keeps everything organized and cuts down on back-and-forth emails. It’s been a game-changer for managing social media workflows.

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

The only downside is that billing is workspace-based, which can get expensive if you’re managing a high number of smaller clients. It would be great to have more pricing flexibility or bundling options. Also, while the mobile app is helpful, it’s slightly limited compared to the desktop version.

**What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planable has solved the chaos of managing content across multiple clients and platforms. Before, we were juggling spreadsheets, email threads, and inconsistent feedback loops—now everything is centralized. It gives us a clear, visual way to plan, schedule, review, and approve content. The biggest benefit is how much time we save—less confusion, fewer revisions, and faster turnaround. It also makes our team look more professional to clients by providing a smooth, collaborative approval process.

**What do you like best about Planable?**

Planable is an excellent tool for freelancers or agencies who want to keep everything in one place. No lost emails with feedback and comments, no spreadsheets with performance data etc.

I personally love the fact that I can draft up some content and once my clients have signed it off, it will automatically schedule the content on my behalf. It saves so much time in admin and gives equal responsibility to me and my clients. I use this app virtually every day so having little features like this goes a long way.

Implementation of Planable within my clients organisations has not gone amiss. My clients have expressed how easy it is to use, as they can approve, amend and leave comments on content on the go.

I also love some of the newer features on Planable including the campaign creator, it makes it much easier for me to monitor what content did well during certain campaigns.

When I originally set up Planable, the customer support was excellent, they helped explain the features and how I could best use them in my situation. This made integration into my day to day operations so much easier. Overall, I would recommend this to agencies and freelancers, regardless of size!

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

Would be great if there was more insights included in the analytics area.

**What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planable is saving me and my clients time when it comes to the approvals process and content scheduling, allowing both parties to have more time to spend on other important activities. The pre-populated reports are also a huge benefit to me, as Planable emails me once a month reminding to send them to my clients, once again saving me time and brain space too!

Makes everything so easy. We love the different views as everyone on the team works differently and has different preferences.

The approval process makes it super easy to work with clients and different members of the team.

I would say it is quite expensive, It would be great if there could be a discount for startup businesses like there is for non-profits.

This could be 30% of for businesses less than 2 years old for example!

Trying to find a comprehensive, user friendly, intuitive software for social media has been horrible until finding planable. Their easy to use and thoughtful work flows made it a no brainer when wanting to invest. Their ethos to support upcoming businesses as well, makes their platform accessible to those who are a small team running agency style work. What a pleasure it is to be working with a platform that are here FOR the industry, it's so refreshing.

Yet to find a flaw, my experience so far has been nothing other than positive.

I am a small business needing an agency grade software without obscene costs. Planable serves just that without burdening me with complicated workflows.

The platform also does not support direct publishing to Instagram Stories or Pinterest, and there are limitations around bulk importing content, evergreen post recycling, and content libraries for reusing posts

when I uploaded tiktoks of my music the sound on tiktok was compressed and bad quality so I can't upload music tiktoks anymore.. you guys sync it up with my sound on the tiktok sound library but the quality is really compressed for some reason and i think its the same on IG... so now I just use it to visualse when i'm putting out content but not automate the posting of it... i still post myself through the app but use planable as reference

The view of their media library is the absolute worst. It makes it very hard to see what's been uploaded and manage it. Just make a 100% separate page fort the media library. This isn't a deal breaker, but def. a negative.

**What do you like best about Planable?**

As a freelance graphic designer, the user interface of any software I need to use is incredibly important to me. Planable's clean dashboard design with calendar view makes it a breeze for me to see my scheduled posts week by week, schedule new ones every five days, and easily drop in my content (reels, posts and stories) all in one go.

After trying several competitor platforms I can say without hesitation that Planable is superior because it WORKS. Every other platform I tried gave me frequent, generic error messages when trying to use its most basic functions, never the case with Planable. 

The customer support team have been fast and helpful in the few instances where I have contacted them, and quickly understood my problem. They also don't waste unnecessary time verifying your identity like you might expect.

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

The inflexible pricing plans. As a freelancer I do not need the features which allow me to share scheduled posts with a team or client for feedback, or the ability to manage multiple channels/pages. I would happily forfeit those features if it meant a reduction in my monthly costs, which are quite substantial. Ideally I would only pay $10-15/month for the platform, (currently upwards of $30).

Allowing me to capitalise on less busy days by scheduling layers of content months in advance, so I don't have to worry.

It brings calm to the content process and makes my social media feel like it’s working for me, not the other way around.

Also the inability to post more than 10 photos to IG (when IG allows more). Clunky with some auto-posting too.

**What do you like best about Planable?**

I love the ease of scheduling posts. I am a little picky when it comes to being able to upload media, repost across networks and also optional manual posting. 

The tool includes an image library, where I can simply re-use assets, and a handy "sync" feature - where you can upload media to multiple platforms, unsync, and write different copy of each. 

Also includes a way to receive mobile app notifications for IG stories/reels that need a bit more manual love.

Having pre-determined time slots, and multiple of them, is a HUGE game changer - e.g. I can have 5x 12pm slots, 6x 6pm slots. Click, pop in content, done. Other tools just don't do it as well.

Pricing wise - super competitive! I use it for 2 of my businesses and just have workspaces for each.

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

Not much to disklike, really! It's missing a couple of useful features - being able to schedule threads on X and Threads would be super useful. Also currently no Bluesky support at time of writing, though a few customers have voted for it.

**What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A big challenge on scheduling content - I upload various different type of media to X, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Pinterest. 

Tool allows for super quick scheduling, re-using assets. Have tried so many scheduling tools - some with more features than Planable. 

But always come back to Planable as it's just so easy to schedule in content. Honestly, nothing compares!

**What do you like best about Planable?**

I enjoy the calendar view and being able to easily move my posts across the three main SM platforms that I use (FB, Insta, LinkedIn). I like being able to schedule a year ahead to remind myself of national dates. I enjoy the generated AI feature to help spark inspiration by suggestions ( I always make the copy my own, but it's a great starting point! ) . Lastly, and most important that sets planable apart from the other SM managing platforms is the target audience feature for FB. No other platform has this and its has boost my posts and followers organically & gradually.

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

As much as I love planable, the cost for their basic plan increased substantially since 2023 that I can't recommend it to the small independent business who could really benefit from using this app.

Planable is able to keep  up with Metasuite and their new features, however, I still have to use Meta to schedule out stories.

I especially appreciate the clean interface, the intuitive user experience, and the ability to leave comments on individual posts. It really streamlines collaboration and makes everything feel more professional.

Some advanced features are only available in the higher-tier plans, which can be a bit limiting. Also, I’d love to see deeper integrations with Instagram, especially for scheduling Reels and Stories. Still, the benefits far outweigh these small drawbacks.

Planable solves the challenge of organizing and streamlining social media content creation and client approvals. Before using it, managing feedback and post scheduling across multiple platforms and clients was time-consuming and chaotic. With Planable, everything is centralized – I can easily collaborate with clients, plan content visually, and ensure a smooth approval process. This saves me time, improves communication, and helps me deliver better results faster.

**What do you like best about Planable?**

One of my favourite features of Planable is the "Workspaces". As an agency, I have multiple clients, and the Workspaces feature of Planable lets me create an individual Workspace for each of my clients and assign a specific person from that organisation as an Approver for the Workspace. This leads me to my next favourite feature of Planable. Planable allows you to add Clients of your Agency as Approvers in a Workspace, ensuring my clients can review and approve all content developed before publishing. Client Approvers are free users and don't increase your subscription pricing as well - A++ particularly love that! Having worked in various Marketing roles over my career and used alot of different Social Media Scheduling tools, and Planable has to be one of my absolute favourites. It's a great all-rounder with content creation, planning, scheduling and reporting (Analytics) tools. And for the price of the subscription, it really suits my business well. I'm a small Freelance Agency that wouldn't be able to justify the investment of other, more expensive tools, like Sprout Social or Brand Watch. Knowing how much in subscriptions I will be charged per workplace, also helps me with calculating pricing of my Social Media services and how much I need to incorporate in my service pricing to recoup the cost. Overall, I find the app super easy to learn and use, intuitive and just well thought out.

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

I've got to say, there's not much I don't like about Planable. There are some areas where I think it could expand on and improve. For example, the Analytics (reporting) tool could be more expansive with more reporting for my clients. The ability to export these reports out to White Label PDF Reports, with my logo would also be amazing. But for the price, the reporting is still decent. There could be some UX improvements made as well. For example, when uploading videos to posts Planable has a pop-up saying the video was successfully uploaded. But in a recent experience, I found out that you still need to wait after the message says "Uploaded" because the video still needs time to process in the background (particularly for LinkedIn). Mind you the experience composing and creating posts is star far superior, I believe, to the experiences I've had with other tools like Hootsuite and issues like that are ones that I can easily learn from and adapt to as "minor quirks", like any system will have.

**What problems is Planable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Planable helps me solve the problem of having to create separate excel sheets or plans with content and images to send to my clients for review and approval, before recreating the content in another tool to schedule the content in. By having really well thought-out tools like Workspaces and Client Approvers, I'm able to plan and create content directly into my Scheduling tool where my clients can approve it directly in the app. This saves me doubling up on workload and time-saved on creating manual templates.

Started using Planable with our creative team and it immediately streamlined our workflow. Setup was quick, the interface is intuitive, and collaborating in real-time makes content planning feel effortless.

Planning across platforms is clear and organized. No scattered docs or endless back-and-forth—just clean execution and visibility for everyone involved.

Also the integration with Canvas is amazing.

Still having troubles to understand the sync, even if I unsync the platforms the timing of the first platform applies to all, so I have to manually ungroup and plan again, should be easier if we could do directly within the group when writing the post.

We started using Planable because managing content across platforms was disorganized. Too many tools, no central view, and communication gaps between team members. Planable fixed that. Now everything’s in one place—scheduling, approvals, comments. Everyone sees the same thing, edits are easy to track, and we don’t waste time syncing across channels. It’s just more efficient.

It helps to make sure nothing posted  looks bad as far as the aspect ratios for photos, reels, etc. The A.I. writing tool is also very helpful. It is one of the few platforms that I found to have a connection to Google My Business, which I find very helpful for local promotion of my physical location.

I've been working in social media for years and really feel so lucky to find Planable through Chat GPT which make the lives of our whole teams a lot easier.

The popular plan can only put 10 labels, which is not enough for what I need to use. And also the caption for multi-photo post is still cannot be set up at first.

We have to manage client social media and it's really hard to get everyone on their social account. But this really make us be able to do so without having to use our personal account to connect there.

Everything is integrated and in one place and so easy to use! This is a perfect hub for a team with many stakeholders across content planning. The fact that we can schedule/ post to social directly from the tool is already incredible! Add the fact that we are able to create channels for emails, blogs, and broadcast planning, and you have my newest obsession!

Looking forward to being able to fully get our team working in the tool to streamline our workflows and feedback!

**What do you dislike about Planable?**

The limit of 150 posts per workspace is a bummer. In order to fully integrate our content workflow through the tool we would want to post all stories on Instagram from this tool, but since these are more frequent this capability is limited with a monthly post limit. 

I also don't love that the tool auto groups certain posts (ie. email and blogs, or TikTok and Instagram) This has required me to split posts manually and utilize the valuable post quantity on posts I do not need. I would like this to be removed so any grouping would be manual rather than the system setting. 

Lastly, it would be great to see paid post planning capabilities for social channels added.

This has become our main hub for content planning across our key channels for the brand. This is much clearer and easier to use than the manual google sheet we were using before.

Plantable is easy to learn and a fun way to generate social media posts.  I like that you can generate posts to both Facebook and Instagram simultaneously. I also like that you can edit media for both platforms at once. These features help us save time. I am also using the AI tools to punch up the text and hashtags.

Sometimes the media editing cuts off important parts of the photos.
