## UXtweak Reviews
 ### 1. Essential Tool for Usability Education

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danyell J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I use UXtweak with my students at DePaul University to give them exposure to card sorting, tree testing, and first click testing. It's easy to use, has all the test types needed to conduct viable research, and the reporting is easy to understand, which is crucial for helping students learn to explain results to stakeholders. The reports are clear and easy to interpret, providing the needed data without overwhelming. UXtweak offers enough test types to run a robust research project all on one platform. I prefer UXtweak's interface and features over ProvenByUsers, and I had no issues with the instructions during the initial setup. I confidently rate my likelihood to recommend UXtweak as a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

A limitation of the free version is no concurrent tests, which makes sense but also can affect the speed of iteration. However, this is solvable with a paid account

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use UXtweak to give my students hands-on experience with usability software, offering easy-to-understand data and clear reports. It provides enough test types for a single platform, making it perfect for robust research projects.

 ### 2. Powerful and User-Friendly Tool for In-Depth Prototype Testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick W. | Visual Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

- Ideal for Prototype Testing: Adding a Figma prototype is incredibly smooth. UXtweak handles nested components and variables well. Changes made in the Figma file are automatically reflected in UXtweak, and you can choose whether to reset variables—very convenient.
- Outstanding Customer Support: Human responses within 24 hours, no canned replies. The team is helpful and genuinely cares.
- Supports Complex Studies: Capable of handling advanced study setups without becoming overwhelming.
- Intuitive Testing Interface: Clear, user-friendly design with well-explained steps.
- Built-In Camera Recording: Supports (camera) recording directly in the web app—no need for external software.
- Detailed Results: Provides comprehensive and insightful analytics.
- Student-Friendly: Generous discounts and a robust free plan make it very accessible.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

There are many features I didn’t need, which made the interface feel a bit cluttered at times.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used UXtweak (paid version) over several months while working on my Master’s thesis. It was a reliable and efficient tool for prototype testing, making it easy to integrate my Figma designs and set up user tasks and questions. The setup process was smooth, and running tests was straightforward. Overall, it significantly improved the quality and professionalism of my research.

 ### 3. Amazing platform for ux related research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RAUL ANTONIO C. | associate professor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

UXtweak gave me the opportunity to use their platform for free in an educational setting, and it made a huge difference in how I was able to teach and guide students through essential UX research methods like card sorting, tree testing and usability testing.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

There was one challenge we encountered during a class session: when all of my students accessed the platform simultaneously, the site became unstable and eventually crashed. It was a bit disruptive in the moment but the site came up in 5 minutes aprox.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a teacher, it helps me give students hands-on experience with real UX research methods without needing to set up complicated tools.

 ### 4. Reliable UX tool – ideal also for university projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I used UXtweak for a project as part of my studies and was very satisfied. The platform offers many useful tools for UX testing and is easy to use – especially for beginners.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Some features are not yet fully optimal for use on mobile (e.g., on a smartphone), but this has hardly affected the overall impression.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our study project, we designed a household app and faced the challenge of making the user interface as intuitive as possible. We were particularly unsure about how users would expect the navigation and structure of functions (e.g., expense overview, categories, joint household management).

UXtweak helped us with tools like Card Sorting and First Click Testing to better understand the user perspective and adjust our app accordingly. This allowed us to identify problem areas and adjust the structure, leading to a much clearer and more user-friendly app.

The software thus helped us make informed decisions based on real user data – and not just on gut feeling.

 ### 5. Very complete UX suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carles B. | Profesor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

We have used this platform in a UX Design course and the experience has been very good. We have mainly used it for information architecture projects (card sorting, tree testing, ...), and the tools it incorporates are extremely useful. It even allows recording remote sessions and having everything integrated. The analysis part is also quite comprehensive. The support from the company is also very good.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I haven't seen any for now. Everything's perfect.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been very useful for us to organize content and analyze the navigation of different products.

 ### 6. I use the tree test tool from UXtweak to test the menu navigation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

As a UX Design teacher, I have my students conduct a number of card sorting sessions. However, you cannot test whether users of your website or app can find a topic through your navigation. That is why you should always do a tree test in addition to card sorting sessions. UX Tweak's tree test tool is extremely useful. You simply build your navigation and then set up a number of questions. You forward the test to multiple test persons through email. Through the UX Tweak results page you can track exactly how your users understood your navigation. A fantastic tool and indispensable for every UX Designer.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Nothing, I only have compliments for the tool.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating good navigation can be a difficult job. To quickly test your navigation without first building your entire website, you can now quickly test your navigation with multiple users.

 ### 7. Usability testing for our agency’s web

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armen T. | eCommerce SEO specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I liked the analytics and all the different data you can get from them. It’s not just the recordings of sessions. There are profiles for each participants, task completion rates, lostness metric and overal usability score. You can see exactly where visitors click the wrong thing, the time it takes them to complete your tasks, and can understand how and why they got confused if so.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Didn’t have any big problems with it, the setup process definitely got a learning curve but they provide tips that guide you through it, so it’s no big deal.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used UXtweak to run usability tests for our agency’s website. They really helped us with finding critical issues and finding parts of the website that needed redesign. We also tested our navigation structure using the tree testing tool to see how easy visitors can access pricing plan comparisons and find the services we offer. Overall the tool helped to point out areas that needed improvement and we’re currently working on those to make the website more user-friendly.

 ### 8. Figma prototype testing for quick design validation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syuzana G. | Team lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I love how easy and quick it is to set up the tests. To import the prototype from Figma you just need a link. It imports all your transitions directly from Figma or you can choose to connect the screens manually during setup.

The analytics are great, you can easily filter out specific respondent groups, based on different criteria, and analyze results for each of them. I like that you can get a great amount of qual and quant insights without having to spend hours on the manual analysis.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I guess the biggest drawback for some teams could be that they only support Figma and Invision testing.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UXtweak helps us quickly validate prototypes, and makes iteration so much more productive and efficient. We use it to collect data on user behavior and identify patterns, sometimes to run quick preference tests to understand which design works best for users.

 ### 9. A complex solution for all your user research needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay J. | Outreach Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I like how you have all the user research tools in one place. It was a big benefit for us, as the team was not ready to invest in a bunch of different tools every time we introduce a new research method.

Another big plus is the quality of support. Big thanks to UXtweak support team for being so responsive and helping us solve minor setup complications in no time!

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I really missed branding customization options, it is not available in the Plus plan.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now mostly use it for usability testing of websites and prototypes, but also occasionally collect session replays to track user behavior. Previously we used UXtweak for a first click testing study and it was also very helpful to understand where we need to rework the designs to beter meet our business goals.

 ### 10. Great tool for mobile app testing.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilly S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

We used UXtweak to test usability of our mobile app’s interface and it helped greatly. We were able to recruit a rather niche audience of participants directly in the app, which honestly saved a lot of time. The study had great analytics for each task of our test. There are also recordings for each session that you can come back to for further analysis.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Although the in-app recruiting was super handy, the main issue was that you can’t recruit participants for less than $200. We don’t always need this many testers, so that’s definitely a limitation.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I spot a couple of really significant usability issues after just a couple of tests, without this kind of testing with users the app would not be in a good enough state to be launched anytime soon.

 ### 11. Quality recruiting for usability tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donah S. | SEO Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

We recruited a bunch of participants for unmoderated usability tests from the user panel and it was a great experience! The responses we’ve got were useful and the recruiting process was very quick. After hearing a couple of horror stories about participants from panels not showing up to tests and faking responses I was a bit sceptical but it went great and we actually got some nice insights about user behavior.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I don’t like that there’s no live interviews feature. We needed those as a part of our research and ended up conducting them via Zoom. Really wish they could be added.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiting and conducting unmoderated usability testing.

 ### 12. My best choice for card sorting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Their card sorting feature. It’s a great tool that offers an insane amount of analytics and features for such a price.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

The UI of the study setup could use a face lift, it’s quite outdated.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a good card sorting tool that has a reasonable price for quite some time now. UXtweak is my top choice at the moment. They help me to setup quick card sorts, they support all different types of them, and also help analyze the results in a way that I don’t really have to do much myself haha.

 ### 13. Good value, love the audience sourcing function

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Audience sourcing is great; we pay a nominal fee to target study respondents in our audience, and it's all integrated within the app. No need to use a different tool for audience sourcing. The respondents replied very quickly too, within days.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Oddly, the UX for UXtweak feels unintuitive (the left menu is a bit odd, and there are weird nuances that I can't quite put my finger on). However, the tool itself gets the job done, is cheaper than the competitor, and those are what matter!

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Determining how our audience mentally groups our features, so we can present them in a logical way.

 ### 14. Easy tool for tree testing with good exports for management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elena K. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I was doing tree-testing on our site because we have a lot of products, and our clients got lost on our web. My friend suggests my UXtweak. We made a study and sent it to our customers. We have quite quick answers, and what I liked the most is that UXtweak provides nice exports, so I can convince my web development team that we need to make changes in our website structure.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Setting up the study is a bit complicated, as many options exist. It's because you can use it in various ways, but it can be confusing if you want a simple study.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers wrote to us, that they often got lost on our website and could not find investment information, how they can invest and so on. Also, our menu is for our users confusing.

 ### 15. Great testing platform for a good price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Website and mobile app usability testing tools. I like that with this tool you actually get quality testing for an affordable price, we’ve tried other testing platforms before and UXtweak is by far the best.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Nothing speicfic comes to mind, it's an overall good tool

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us run user tests on our website to find usability issues and see exactly what parts of the design need to be improved.

 ### 16. Best UX research experience ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ecem E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

UXTweak has an excellent user interface. It provided a smooth user experience to the participants in the focus group I organised-- many of them particularly mentioned that they liked using the platform and asked me about details. Further, their customer support team is made up of experts who are quick at getting back to you and great at solving problems.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

It took a bit of time to get used to the dashboard layout, but everything became super efficient once I learned my way around the information structure, and I recommend it to anyone.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Designing surveys and other forms of media for researching user patterns is a fundamental part of the UX research job, and UXTweak takes care of all the practical problems. It makes preparing and running UX tests super quick, and people who take the tests often care to mention how much they liked the interface I used (the interface UXTweak provides). Further, UXTweak takes care of all the maintenance issues and stores the data in an easy to asses way. It also provides its own data analysis as well, which is an excellent tool for quick assessments.

 ### 17. Comparative pre- and post-study with a Framer high-fidelity prototype (MSc project)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter K. | Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The flexibility regarding the questionnaire design, the ability to define technical requirements for the participants and the use of a custom 'Framer build' website by including a code snippet, which didn't require the participants to install additional plug-ins.

An additional highlight was the very responsive and helpful customer support and the available 'inline' participant recruiting!

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

The UX of the UXtweak could be improved by some UX teaks since some of the setup and analytics processes seemed counterintuitive and irritating. I found myself several times in s situation where I was not sure if I might not have accidentally deleted a test setup and was, therefore, continuously cloning setups.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The setup of remote pre- and post-study questionnaires with a custom build prototype. This didn't seem possible with most or all of the competitors.

 ### 18. Card sort for my 7. semester project

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2023

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

It’s remote friendly and intuitive for most users. The card sort is well mapped to an in real life experience of such a task. My card sort existed of 65 cards, which is not really recommended to use by UXtweak, but it was still possible for the testpersons to get an ok overview of the carpets to sort and the categories the made. The list of cards to be sorted force them to interpret one carpet at a time as they have to drag them over in categories. This might not have been carried out as thorough in real life scenario.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Due to my amount of cards, the analysis tools where confusing to interpret simply because of the big amount of data. Moreover would it be nice with some more analysis tools such as MDS - multi dimensional scaling. Which I could have benefitted from.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my case I needed my card sort to be run remotely and it solved my problems with uploading pictures. Other programs where you can run a card sort don’t have that option.

 ### 19. Various tests for optimal results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matej K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Overall, UXTweak is, for our company, an effective tool for user research and analytics. The wide range of different tests for fair pricing is what made us go with this company instead of other alternatives

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

There is currently nothing we dislike about UXtweak, as we always get enough insights about our products that we can implement into the practice straight away.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We tried every single feature of UXtweak, but 5-second tests and preference tests are what gave us the best insights. We really like comparing our hypothesis with the real preferences of our users.

 ### 20. Figma low fidelity prototype testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denisa M. | Software architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

We used UXtweak for Figma prototype testing. We are a local IT company and for our client, we needed to do quick testing of our prototypes. We know UXtweak as it is well known Slovak company. So we tried their prototype testing. It was very easy to use, we liked it imports Figma directly to UXtweak and we have our testing done in a few clicks. We also bought their testers and we were satisfied with the quality od respondents. Also we had some issues with our Figma and their support solve it within 1 hour.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Sometimes it takes time to import Figma prototypes. I guess because of API. Also, the interface of UXtweak should be a little bit more designed. Their site is very modern, but the application can also be redesigned. But it is functional and easy to use.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to test the prototype and test in one week and not pay thousands of Euros for one test. So UXtweak come handy and was right tool for our need

 ### 21. Tree testing for my university project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rastislav K. | Data engineering & Student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The analysis included in the results. I needed to only glance at the Paths tab in results where we saw all the confusion our users suffered from, when they tried to find what we thought was obvious.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

For my taste it was a bit cumbersome to use from time to time. From what I’ve gathered it is aimed at more complex research than we actually needed. But that’s not really a detriment to be honest.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have university project in which we had one of our product categories receiving only a fraction of the visits we expected. We couldn't figure out why. We tried and tested our navigation structure with a simple tree test from UXtweak and found that navigation of our testing product is very unclear to users. We tested it on our university students from 20 to 24 because it was a digital product for young users

 ### 22. Web structure testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukáš K. | product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Uxtweak was suggested to us by our marketing agency. We have a lot of products on our site, and the menu structure is confusing for our customers. So we decided to do Tree testing with our marketing agency with UXtweak. We liked that it is a simple tool, that you can research your own customers. Also perfect as we can make prescreening as we wanted only B2B customers, which are most important for us.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Nothing particularly. Maybe pricing, but as I checked the competition, they are cheaper than other tools.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Structure of our web. Our customers call us a lot and try to solve everything by phone. Their feedback is, that they are not able to find product on our page and also that it is messy for them

 ### 23. Mobile usability testing for mobile only company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrik H. | Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

We were looking for a tool for mobile usability testing of our beta version of the IOS app with a panellist, and sincerely UXtweak is the only solution we could find. So we were happy that someone was able to find the tool for our testing

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

What we dislike is that setting up a panel needs to be done manually by the support of UXtweak, but we were informed that by the end of the year, we would be able to setup a panel by ourselves.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to test our beta version IOS app, which wasn't live on 40 users, mainly from the USA, UK, Singapore, and AU, and we needed some tool which could make it easy without installing any SDK. (Our security department would reject it)

 ### 24. Great tools and customer service but UI could be improved

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy M. | Student Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I was impressed by the customer support I received.
I emailed the company with a question regarding the tools and services offered. I received a response within hours from Peter Demcak. The response was very thorough and helped me learn more about what UXTweak offers. I even got a response to a follow-up email during the weekend, which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise!

I like that you can see demos of each tool, so you get a real view of how the data is presented.
Instead of just reading what the tool can be used for, you can actually interact with the demo and pretend you conducted the study, such as replaying recordings and filtering participants.

The Session Recording tool was easy to set up, even though I’d never done website tracking before.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

The toolbar at the side of the dashboard is unclear for a new user like me, who hasn’t yet memorised what each icon means. The icons all look very similar: they are all the same colour, and most of them contain the same shapes (rounded squares), which makes it hard to distinguish between them. It’s difficult to know instinctively which button to click on because they don’t have labels. The name of the tool is not revealed even if you hover over the button. It’s only after you click the button that a pop-up window appears and reveals the name of the tool. It took me a while to learn this because I did not think to click it: my instincts told me that if I clicked the button, it would take me to a different page.

With session recordings, there is some lag between a website visitor and when the visitor is recorded in UXTweak. I discovered this when I was testing my study. Whenever I visited my own website, it would take about 10 minutes for my visit to appear in the analysis section. At first, I thought that the study wasn’t recording data properly, which made me anxious.

It would be even easier to set up if there were some instructions describing how to install the snippet with session recording.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to quickly set up user research for my thesis.

 ### 25. Best UX tool on the market with perfect price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jana K. | Analysist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

All tools any UX researcher would need to use in one place with a detailed analysis. We needed in depth information on what could be improved regarding the UX of our platform and we finally found it using UXtweak. The tools are rich in functionality, which means it can be non-trivial to grasp at first, but they helped us greatly when we contacted their support. Another thing that surprised us in a good way was the fact that their panel managed to provide us with good responses even when our targeting was rather specific.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

When we created our first draft we struggled a bit with finding it on the dashboard, however their support team was at hand and helped us right away.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Don’t be afraid to dive into the more complex tools from their offer. We spent some time learning them, however once you get past the initial complexity you will be rewarded with a ton of useful information.

 ### 26. Clear comparison of respondents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The fact that their prototype testing shows you the path which respondents navigate by in your prototype and that you can easily compare these paths and see which were taken by how many respondents. Also the upload of our Figma prototype was easy, straightforward and worked without a hitch. We also liked that you can share the results of your study with anyone via a simple link. We used it to communicate with our client and show them the most important points we discovered.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Even though we only use the recordings to retrieve specific information, which the UXtweak provides already, it would be nice to have the recordings as well.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you want to test a Figma prototype you usually only get an option where you receive a screen recording. In our testing process we like to mark the specific path the user took from design to design and compare them. This however takes an immense amount of time when you have a study with tens or hundreds of participants. Thankfully UXtweak does it automatically and it saves us days of work.

 ### 27. Card Sorting made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I didn’t get the chance to explore all the options UXtweak provides. I only used their card sorting for my research and I was more than happy with it. Their card sorting and also the option to recruit participants from my website with their widget was a great help as well.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

That once you create a card sorting study you can’t change the variant e.g if you create a closed card sort you can’t change it to open. However, after their support told me about the option to export and import the cards and questions, the change to open with the use of study cloning was a good workaround.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a platform which would allow me to conduct an unmoderated card sort. I almost chose the competition, because they were cheaper. However, after I have seen the depth of the analysis done automatically on the data in the results from UXtweak I was immediately convinced. Their automated analysis saved me tons of time. I didn’t have to manually go through the recordings and note all the decisions which the participants made.

 ### 28. Great usability of testing tools. It is useful for teaching my students more about UX tools.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debra L. | Faculty Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The ease of use and the tutorials are beneficial when learning how to utilize tools to benefit the UX research process.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I have not found any but I also do not access all parts of the product.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me show tools in an easy way to new emerging UXers

 ### 29. Great for mobile testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The depth in which their tools allow you to analyze your concepts, prototypes or even your released web or app. The iOS app testing was what convinced me to choose UXtweak and I was very satisfied with how it works. It was easy enough to test our app even before it hit the App Store, since they allow you to test a TestFlight release as well. I didn’t need to recruit any respondents, since our customers served us well enough for testing, however if I will need to recruit in future I will return to them. Their panel offered very specific targeting, which I haven’t found anywhere else.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

So far they don’t provide any skip logic in surveys, however they have assured me that it is one of the features they have on their roadmap for future development. Also the account management may be cumbersome a bit in some cases, but nothing too problematic.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a simple way to test the first Figma prototype of my app and then the app itself, which was easily done with their tools. I needed to change my prototype in a few key details based on the results I got from the study. I was happy though, it was much cheaper than redoing the app itself.

 ### 30. Quick prototype tests

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The detail of the paths which you get from the respondents after they wander around your prototype surprised me when I saw it for the first time. We were used to getting recordings of screens where we could see the mouse movement and guess if the respondent was or wasn’t confused. But with the paths laid out in front of us, we were able to see all the confusion in one place. The great feature was that the results also came with the number of respondents for each of the paths, and you see right away which points of confusion were what led most of them astray.

The results also come with a simple export option which was great. Before I needed to prepare the PDF with all results by myself, and it took me ages. Here it’s just one click.

Also I loved that all you need to do when you want to invite someone into your study is that you send them the link to the study.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

It wasn’t clear at first if I should use the One-to-one mode or the simple mode with my prototype. The upload of the prototype itself didn’t take long, but for some reason the loading of the hot-spot editor took ages each time, even after the first load in the current session.

It seemed a bit chaotic that I was first shown the task setup and was prompted to add pre-study questions afterwards. In my opinion the setup flow should align with the study flow.

I also don’t really like the color scheme of the dashboard, but that is just my pet-peeve.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UXtweak allowed me to save tons of time. I am the sole UX researcher in our company and this was the first tool which allowed me to do more complex research without spending months of my time on it. The analysis and results part did so much work for me and gave me all the data in presentable format. Usually my managers want me to show them different groups of respondents or they have some other bizarre requirements which tend to lead to changing the results structure. With UXtweak I just filtered the respondents and exported the new results PDF.

 ### 31. A very user friendly experience throughout (Tree/Card test)

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The product is very nicely designed and packed with features. I could only try out the tree/card test with limited time, but I'm delighted with what I found within the trial. As a visual designer, the product was able to help me quickly navigate around and jump straight into using and testing.

Generally, the product is super easy to use and very stable. Supports testing on both mobile and desktop platforms. If you're UX researcher or someone like me coming from a visual background trying to get a hand on testing out user research then this is the tool for you to try out and you will not be disappointed.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

-better branding (currently only allow logo and colour)
-better UX/UI (probably it's top on the chart right now against competitors, but some stuff seems confusing or strange positioning etc.)
-more robust support for PDF exporting (web portal is much better, PDF is less valuable. Ended up taking a screenshot of the web portal instead
-better support for filtering results (currently, it can turn on and off, but it would be nice to filter via. i.e. completion time, user location etc.)
-similarity map doesn't allow for 50+ items to be screenshotted easily (you have both horizontal and vertical scroll bars, even zooming out didn't help that much)
-auto-save feature for constructing questions/tutorials has bugs. I often type out a paragraph thinking it's been autosaved, but only later to find out many of them went missing. So I used a small trick: copy-paste a lot of the content or opened it up again to ensure it's saved before moving on to the next thing.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking to optimise a Discord server channel structure through card-sort and tree testing. I had a delightful surprise at how useful this tool is in understanding the user behaviour, what the user picked for the 1st stop and where the user navigated through. The whole thing must be done remote, so to have a very detailed report coming out of it, in the end, was super lovely to see.

 ### 32. Competitive testing helped us make our webpage more accessible to users.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent X. | UI/UX Desiger, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

We used UXtweak for various research projects, most recently we used competitive usability testing during redesign of your website. It allowed us to easily benchmarke our website against our competitors. We got to see what they were better at and where they were lacking behind.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

There is nothing I would point out, since our usability tests were heavily focused on competitive testing only, meaning we didn’t use the product to the full extent.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used it to observe how testers were using the competitor's product, and how we could benefit from their mistakes. After the testing had succeeded, we implemented those insight into our plan for the redesign.

 ### 33. Powerfull and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jørgen Thune J. | Kommunikasjonsrådgiver med webredaktøransvar, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

UX Tweak is a powerfull tool that helps my company testing the new site structure. Its easy to use, and the analysis tool helps us find the right solutions.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Overall UX tweak deliver everything I need for site structure testing.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site structure testing

 ### 34. The best tool for card sorting that I could find on the market.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I used Uxtweak for card sorting. Before using UXtweak, I researched and tested many different platforms, however, only UXtwek met my requirements. I liked the flexibility that it offered. It allowed me to include statements in two languages on the cards, which was an essential requirement for my research project. I needed to obtain open, multiple sorts from each participant and the platform made it easy to design. It is a great tool for big-scale and small-scale research projects.
The customer service was excellent too. Communication was easy, and the staff was very competent, supportive, and friendly.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I do not have anything negative to say about this product. My only comment would be that the process of sorting can be a little technically difficult to do on a mobile device for some participants. It is doable but needs some practice. It is not an issue, but it is something worth explaining to research participants.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Card Sorts as part of my PhD research methodology. I research creativity and second language development in adult ESOL learners. The tool has helped me to explore how adult ESOL learners conceptualise the concepts of creativity and second language development.

 ### 35. Super user-friendly research tool that produces beautiful and easy to read reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanja M. | UX Designer Senior

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

I have used the Tree Test functionality. It is really quick easy to set-up a study. Very user-friendly interface. And the results are well presented, easy to analyse and have great visualisations. It made it very easy to present results to our stakeholders. Absolutely loved it!

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I don't have anything negative to say about the tool.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using it to optimise a shopping taxonomy in an eCommerce site. We were able to increase the findability of products and services. Our customers who participated in the study gave a lot of positive feedback about the study - a lot of them enjoyed the survey and loved the fact that we're asking their opinion to improve the site.

 ### 36. UXtweak made it easy to evaluate important stimuli for our project at university

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The Card Sorting function in UXtweak was easy to use. Simple yet more customizable than others platform configuration and supports using pictures as cards, which was essential for our study about peoples ability to recognize emotions with and without face masks. The analysis possibilities gave a in-depth view on our results as well as a great and quick overview, making it possible to do some well argued conclusions for further work. We will defiantly use UXtweak again.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

The only thing that come to my mind is that it would be nice, if it was possible to make pilotstudies. That is, making the Card Sorting study active, get some responses, look at the data and then have the possibility to change in the setup again before final release.

**Recommendations to others considering UXtweak:**

It is a great platform. I will defiantly recommend for both smaller and bigger projects.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My group and I are studying emotion recognition with and without face masks. UXtweak helped us evaluate pictures used in our further studies as well as giving us important insight in which words a sample of our population will use to describe emotions expressed in pictures.

 ### 37. Perfect tool for card sorting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Step-by-step card sort set-up and execution made it easy for even our junior researchers to use. Overall allowed us to collect and analyze our results to improve our website- and that’s exactly what we needed.

Not only was the tool great, but the customer service was what made this a perfect experience. We received assistance directly from the CEO and he was extremely kind and helpful. Will continue to use this service for our UX needs.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Maybe add more than one screener question for the card sort.

Other than that, we haven’t explored the rest of the features (there are a lot), but based on our experience with the card sort, UX tweak seems great for our UX needs

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helped us immensely in understanding user expectations for the information hierarchy of our new website

 ### 38. Great tool and great service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

The tool is by far one of the best out there - before picking UXtweak for a card sorting study, I did a lot of research on which tools would provide the most flexibility. UXtweak wins by far. It's easy to use and their customer service are helpful and quick to respond. I will definitely be recommending UXtweak to other UX practitioners.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

If I have to pick something, it would be that UXtweak uses quite a bit of power, but this is a really minor thing.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using UXtweak to get insights that will helps us to improve how people use and navigate products critical to the healthcare system.

 ### 39. Saving time in reviewing results with advanced filters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miloslav K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

In their session recordings they offer a "SmartSearch" feature which is the most complex filters I came across. You can filter out user sessions upon any event they took during their visit on your web. Apart from session recordings they offer a lot of other research features making it a great value for your money.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I thing the UI could use some work but I saw that they are working on full app redesign.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I to test usability of our websites and gather detailed data about our users to optimise our website.

 ### 40. Powerful tool to improve just about everything on your website

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ján N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Combination of research features: session recording, card sorting, tree test, activity tracking and in my opinion the most useful task-oriented study which allows you to test usability on real tasks. And thanks to their recruitment solutions you can also use visitors of your website as study respondents which allows you to test with people who are real users of your websites.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

Due to the complexity of the platform, it takes some time for someone without UX background to understand all the features it offers.

**Recommendations to others considering UXtweak:**

The platform can look complicated at a first sight but read through their documentation. It is very well done and it explained everything clearly. After reading through it I had no problem with setting up studies and evaluating their outcomes on my own. So, definitely have a look at their guide and ask questions - their support team is very responsive and helpful.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started with a task-oriented study where I realized lot of our users are getting confused by our information architecture and have a problem with finding specific articles due to overlapping categories and poor labelling. I am planing full redesign of content categorisation and labelling and optimization of navigation to improve user experience on our website.

 ### 41. UX tool to redesign/built websites to be truly user-centered

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ján P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

All the research tools UXtweak offers and how powerful they are when used back to back. We used session recordings and used card sorting. Results of the tests gave us a good grasp on how to built new web. After the implementation we used Replay Tasks to validate it once agin with users to get info on how to optimize it even further.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I don't enjoy reading documentations so I would appreciate video tutorials for all the features they offer. Apart from that, I had no problem.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to built website to be intuitive and simple for users so bad UX does not lead to low conversions.

 ### 42. Very strong UX tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mert A. | Co-founder | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

UXtweak has some very powerful features for UX designers such as tree testing and usability testing. Your product & design team will fall in love with it! Also the team is always helpful and responsive.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

There should be more integrations with the popular design tools. But the team responded that they are working on them so nothing bad at the moment!

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before trying out UXtweak, we were simply doing A/B tests to improve UX along with other metrics. After doing some usabilty testing, we've gained more insights about our users' behaviour in our product.

 ### 43. The best UX research platform I used so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timotej M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Wide range of research tools they offer. Their features were very able to cover the full process of usability testing from start to finish. For remote usability testing, I haven't found a platform offering such a comprehensive toolkit.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

It is a subscription software and they don't offer the option to pay for one study.

**Recommendations to others considering UXtweak:**

Take advantage of their 3O day free trial and you will see if it is the right option for you. I also recommend contacting their support if you are lost - they were helpful and quick to respond.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I tested the usability of our landing page with RePlay tasks. Where we recorded our visitors completing a task to find specific information on our site. Then we tried CardSorting to validate our menu. We discovered several confusing points and have valuable insights to optimise our web.

 ### 44. UX/UI validation made easy and remotely

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivana P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2020

**What do you like best about UXtweak?**

Wide range of research features, that keeps on growing. Convinience of "all-in-one" platform and little things like - recruitment widget for using site visitors to be your free testers or built-in reward feature for uploading discount codes to motivate respondents.

**What do you dislike about UXtweak?**

I did not find anything while using UXtweak so far.

**What problems is UXtweak solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I graphic designer in my core visuals and design was often the most important thing for me. UXtweak helps me to design not only pretty but also useable and intuitive interfaces.
