"A cleaner onboarding flow without emailing PDFs back and forth"
4.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

During onboarding, we used to deal with documents arriving in different formats, fields left incomplete, missing signatures, and multiple versions of the same file bouncing around in email. With Reusable Templates, fillable fields, and Magic Fields, we’ve been able to convert most of those static PDFs into forms we prepare once and then reuse for each new hire. LinkToFill allows employees to enter their information directly, and Request eSignatures manages signer roles, signing order, reminders, and tracking. For acknowledgements, internal policies, and employment documents, this has eliminated a lot of manual follow-up and chasing. The Audit Trail also gives HR a clear record of who opened and signed each document, along with the timing. We occasionally use pdfFiller’s form library for common administrative paperwork like W-4, W-9, or I-9 forms, but we still review and validate each document before using it in an active HR process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Pricing really depends on how far you want to take your workflow. The Basic plan is enough for straightforward PDF editing. Plus adds reusable templates, fillable forms, and signature requests, while Premium makes the most sense when your team needs broader signing workflows, branding, and user administration. "Magic Fields completely cut down our PDF prep time"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

Magic Fields saves us a noticeable amount of setup time on documents that already have a clear structure. It can spot areas for names, dates, and signatures and convert them into fillable fields, so we’re not placing every field manually from scratch. It still doesn’t understand the entire document for us, and checkboxes or radio buttons need extra attention, but on forms with predictable text areas it eliminates a lot of repetitive work. We pair that with Reusable Templates, Shared Templates, LinkToFill, and Request eSignatures for agreements, change requests, approval forms, and other documents that come back again and again. Rather than creating a fresh copy each time, we keep a standard version in the workspace, let the client enter the required information through LinkToFill, and then move the final document into the signature flow with the right recipients and signing order. The Online PDF Editor also covers the small edits that used to send us back to Word or design, like fixing a sentence, hiding information, adding an image, reordering pages, or converting the file. Audit Trail and version history have been especially helpful when several people touch the same document, because we can see who opened, edited, shared, or moved it, and recover from a bad change without guessing which attachment was the last clean version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Magic Fields feels like a head start rather than an autopilot. It does a solid job recognizing fields that are laid out with clear lines and empty spaces, but it doesn’t always understand every relationship within a more complex form. We still need to review field ownership, which values are optional versus required, signing roles, and the order someone is expected to complete the document. For anything involving checkboxes, radio buttons, or less predictable layouts, that QA step really matters. It definitely saves preparation time, but I still wouldn’t send a client-facing document just because the automatic detection finished successfully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Alesia hi! Many thanks for providing such a detailed feedback. We greatly appreciate you took time to describe such an interesting use case with reusable templates, LinkToFill, Magic Fields and document e-signing.

"Intuitive PDF Management with Robust Features"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I rely on pdfFiller to sign legal documents and prepare insurance documentation. I really appreciate how easy it is to sign documents and return them for finalization. The intuitive tools make it a breeze to figure out and use. I also like that I can share our pdfFiller account with our team, which is particularly useful given our team size of less than ten members. Plus, I think that pdfFiller has a fair price point that suits our needs. The setup was very easy, and adding new members is uncomplicated. The fact that I can click on a tool, add my own uploaded signature, and easily adjust the font size to fit a space adds to the efficiency of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

It took us a little while to figure out which download button is ideal. I don't want to download into a cloud. I most often want to download to my own computer and depending on where I click or select to download, it wants to add it to a cloud or some other function. So it took a little while to figure out which option downloads to my computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daryna Prokhorova of pdfFiller

Happy to help your business with better PDF management for legal and insurance documentation!

Separately, thank you for mentioning the fair pricing we strive to monitor and maintain!

"pdfFiller lets us update forms without rebuilding the whole workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

We use pdfFiller when a workflow still depends on a PDF but doesn’t justify rebuilding the entire experience in Razor, Blazor, or a separate frontend. That’s where it has been most useful for me as a .NET Technology Lead. I don’t treat it as a backend, a database, or the place where business rules should live; it works best as the document layer around a process that still needs to generate, complete, and sign an approved file. The Online PDF Editor lets us correct text, add images, reorder pages, annotate content, and apply redactions without constantly going back to the source document. That saves more time than it sounds like, especially when we’re dealing with third-party forms or legacy PDFs and the requested change is nothing more than a label, date, or instruction. Magic Fields also gives us a practical head start by identifying lines and empty areas that are likely to be text, date, or signature fields. On a multi-page onboarding form, it produced most of the initial structure in seconds. It did miss part of a poorly aligned table and assigned a few fields incorrectly, but even with a quick review of names, roles, and positions, it was still much faster than placing everything manually from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

The interface can feel crowded, especially for someone who just needs to complete a simple task. Options for editing, converting, sending, signing, sharing, requesting information, and managing pages are all placed fairly close together, and the right action isn’t always obvious if you don’t already understand the workflow behind the document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daryna Prokhorova of pdfFiller

This might be the most technical and detailed review we ever received, Yurii, really appreciate it! :)

"Keeping every PDF task in one place has simplified my workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

One of the first things I notice is how easy it is to edit PDFs that would normally be a pain to work with. Updating text, adding images, creating fillable fields, or getting a document ready for signature only takes a few minutes, and I can do everything straight from the browser. More than once we've had to make last-minute changes to a proposal right before sending it, and being able to update it without downloading or converting files has saved us a lot of unnecessary stress. I also end up using templates all the time. A lot of our contracts, proposals, and onboarding documents are almost identical from one client to the next, so instead of copying old files and hoping nobody forgets to update something, we just fill in the fields and move on. It saves time and cuts down on those little mistakes that always seem to sneak in. I also like how easy it is to share documents, send them out for signature, and keep track of where everything stands. Instead of wondering if someone has reviewed a contract or signed a document yet, I can check the status in a few seconds. Having editing, OCR, eSignatures, redaction, and LinkToFill all in the same platform means I rarely need another tool to handle documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

The only area where I'd like to see more progress is AI. The current tools are useful for filling out forms and speeding up a few editing tasks, but I think there's still plenty of room for smarter data extraction and automations that reduce even more of the manual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daryna Prokhorova of pdfFiller

Omar hi! Many thanks for taking time to write such a detailed review! Happy to know you've been using so many features under the hood!

We are glad to help you with contract signing, approvals, onboarding and more. This is truly impressive.

Regarding the AI use, you are absolutely right and we do agree, there is space for development and creative use in there. Actually, we are working on it, every single day, we assure you. Stay tuned! :)

"A reliable and time-saving PDF solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

What I like most about pdfFiller is how easy it is to edit, complete, sign and organize PDF documents. It saves a lot of time, especially when working with contracts and administrative paperwork. The interface is user-friendly, and the tools are comprehensive enough to handle most document-related tasks without needing additional software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

Overall, I don't have many complaints. The only improvement I would suggest is making some features easier to find for first-time users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daryna Prokhorova of pdfFiller

"Highly Customizable Forms, but Cumbersome to Use"
3.5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I like that pdfFiller lets me create PDFs with customized fill-in features, including watermarking, Bates numbering, and form filling. I can assign signature and other fields to recipients, customize and prefill fields with hints, and have entries checked so, for example, letters aren’t accepted in a number field. Its e-signature document chain gives me a certificate for the signature, and recipients can sign without creating an account. I also find pdfFiller more versatile than the signing software I used before, and I like that I can save my documents there. Creating forms takes me about half an hour, but I like how customizable they are. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

I find creating a form very cumbersome; it usually takes about half an hour. The menu system isn’t intuitive, with menu items hidden in illogical places, and I often have to get help. There’s no AI feature for easy solutions, and I’m charged when I go to chat for help. The iOS app is pretty basic and limited, so I have to use the desktop for most special features. Setup wasn’t easy, and I have to pay extra for additional features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Daryna Prokhorova of pdfFiller

"Streamlining Secured PDFs and Document Workflows in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

What I like best about pdfFiller is how much time it saves on repetitive document work. I regularly use the drag-and-drop editor to add text fields, checkboxes, and signature fields, and it is much faster than rebuilding forms manually in other tools. The template feature has also improved my workflow a lot because I can reuse frequently sent documents instead of reformatting them every time. Its fillable field auto-detection is another feature I use often, and it cuts down setup time when I need to turn a static PDF into something interactive. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, with tools appearing where I need them, so moving between editing, signing, and sending feels smooth. I also use its Google Drive and Dropbox integrations regularly, which helps me open, update, and save files without extra downloading or uploading. Performance has been reliable even with longer PDFs, and autosave plus document history gives me confidence that I will not lose work. One unexpected benefit has been the audit trail, which makes it easier to track signatures and keep organized records. From a pricing and ROI standpoint, it has been worthwhile because it replaces several separate tools for editing, signing, and document management, which saves both time and effort. Support and onboarding were also straightforward, with helpful tutorials and quick responses when needed. While the AI features are not the main reason I use it, tools like automatic field recognition still add useful intelligence that reduces manual work and speeds up the entire process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

What’s least helpful about pdfFiller is that some of its more advanced features feel a bit limited or require extra steps compared to newer tools. For example, while the form builder and field detection work well, fine-tuning complex documents (like aligning fields perfectly or handling unusual layouts) can be a bit clunky and time-consuming. The integrations, while useful for basic storage platforms like Google Drive and Dropbox, don’t go very deep with other business tools, which can slow down more automated workflows. Performance is generally solid, but I’ve noticed occasional lag when working with very large or heavily formatted PDFs. Pricing can also be a downside for lighter users, since many of the most useful features are behind higher-tier plans, which may not feel justified if you only use it occasionally. Support is responsive, but finding detailed answers for more specific use cases sometimes requires trial and error rather than clear documentation. Finally, the AI and automation capabilities feel fairly basic—there’s room for improvement in areas like smarter data extraction, autofill suggestions, or more intelligent document processing to reduce manual input even further. "Revolutionized Document Handling in Real Estate"
5/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I primarily use pdfFiller for my real estate business to complete transactions, and I find it very easy to use with many helpful tools such as electronic signing, highlighting, and using arrows to mark where documents need to be signed. I also appreciate the ability to edit a document and send it for electronic signatures within the same program, which saves me from having to use multiple programs. Additionally, I like using arrows to identify where signatures or initials are needed on documents not being signed electronically. pdfFiller allows me to efficiently email marked-up documents directly to recipients. The variety of tools provided makes it my go-to program over others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

I do not have anything that I dislike about the pdfFiller program Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Document Integration and Editing"
4/5
What do you like best about pdfFiller?

I use pdfFiller to easily create one document out of multiple for music needs for my choir. I like how pdfFiller connects directly to Google Drive, which makes saving my documents there convenient. I also appreciate the ability to sign documents and change text for documents that need edits, making it really practical for my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pdfFiller?

PDF filler has limitations such as being able to rotate documents and making edits to text that is within a hymn like music document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
