# How do you handle large scanned PDFs in pdfFiller without layout shifts or slow loading?

pdfFiller has been great for editing native and scanned PDFs in a word processor-like editor, plus adding fillable fields and e-signatures while keeping everything synced with cloud storage. The main friction I’ve hit is with very large scanned documents: load times can lag and complex layouts can shift after text edits, so I have to double-check formatting before sending. I’ve also found some advanced tools a bit buried in menus. If you use pdfFiller, what workflows or settings help you keep formatting stable and speed up work on big scanned PDFs?
