What do you like best about Payroll Mate?

Inexpensive, tax rates updated automatically, all necessary tax forms easily created. I would never have stopped using Payroll Mate if I didn't need to change to a cloud based program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payroll Mate?

Recommendations to others considering Payroll Mate:

What problems is Payroll Mate solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had to change to another product, but I'll repeat myself here - it is very affordable and made end-of-year tax filings very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Payroll Mate?

Payroll Mate is really easy to use. It is cost effective and you get everything you need with it. I like that it carries over each year to keep all paychecks in your history. I also enjoy that it breaks down the taxes and makes it easy to determine how much to pay as an employer each pay period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Payroll Mate?

The price is amazing! I am in a unique situation because we run 3 separate businesses and Payroll Mate makes it really simple to process payroll for multiple companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payroll Mate?

This software only works on Windows computers, so I can't use my Mac to work on payroll. It is also pretty limited when it comes to what date my employees have access to. I'd prefer it were a little more transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Payroll Mate:

Give it a try! It is a great program that is easy to use and navigate around. It has an affordable price tag and is ideal for small business owners with fewer than 70 or so employees. One of the best features is the ability to print the payroll checks using built-in PDF capability and then securely email the PDF checks to the other businesses or locations to be printed in-house. What problems is Payroll Mate solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've shopped around quite a bit for a good payroll software and a lot of the programs we found were cloud-based and required a monthly subscription. What do you like best about Payroll Mate?

Payroll Mate is easy to get started with. We have been using it for 3+ years now and found it very reliable. The features are rich that has exceeded my expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payroll Mate?

It does not have an installer for Mac and Linux operating systems. It would be nice if it had versions for OS beside Windows. Also if there would be a cloud version of the system, I would happily move it could. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Payroll Mate?

It is really simple to use. I can easily create my paychecks and input all necessary information into them. I also like that you can run many different reports as well. It is easy to run the quarterly tax filing forms and the year end tax filing forms. You can edit them if needed as well. It is simple to complete them, print them, and send them in to the IRS. You can also download the software onto multiple computers, which is nice. I also like that it imports all previous years information every year you purchase and download the program. What do you dislike about Payroll Mate?

There's not much I don't like, really. I wish that you didn't have to download the program each year it comes out. Maybe having a license number you receive when purchasing it and inputting that would be easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
