What is PageUp, and what problem is it built to solve?

PageUp is a talent management platform built to support hiring and engagement experiences. It addresses the challenge of managing those experiences through talent management technology.

What company sizes and industries is PageUp the best fit for?

PageUp appears particularly suited to large enterprises, with mid-market organizations represented as well. Its use spans several industries, especially higher education, health care, and government administration.
  • Enterprise: Organizations with more than 1,000 employees are the clearest size fit.
  • Mid-market: Organizations with 51–1,000 employees are also represented.
  • Higher education: A prominent industry among users.
  • Health care: A prominent industry among users.
  • Government administration: A recurring industry segment.
  • Construction and retail: Both are represented among users.

How long does it take to implement PageUp across a team?

Implementation most often takes 3–6 months, though some teams report shorter or longer timelines.
Time to go live Relative frequency
3–6 months Most common
1–3 months Also reported
6–12 months Also reported
Under 1 month or over 12 months Less common

What customer support options does PageUp provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

PageUp provides 24/7 live-representative support, along with self-service resources such as a knowledge base and FAQs or forums. The support experience is often described as responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful, with account managers and customer success teams helping organizations work through questions and improve their setup. Some users find that initial contact or technical follow-up can take longer, and the knowledge portal can be difficult to search.

What is the experience like for teams switching to PageUp from another tool?

Moving to PageUp from tools such as Taleo, PeopleAdmin, and other applicant tracking or HR systems has often been driven by a need for more flexible workflows, stronger recruitment functionality, or a better fit for hiring teams. Users describe gains in recruitment automation, reporting, candidate experience, and the ability to bring more of the hiring process together, though extensive configuration can take planning and effort.

What features or capabilities could make PageUp even more useful?

PageUp could be more useful with improvements to reporting and day-to-day navigation. The most recurring opportunities are:
  • More flexible reporting: Make dashboards easier to customize and provide clearer access to common recruitment metrics.
  • Simpler navigation: Reduce unnecessary clicks and make frequently used settings and actions easier to find.
  • More configurable workflows and fields: Add flexibility for job cards, forms, criteria, and department-specific processes.

"Customizable ATS that Streamlines Recruitment"

What do you like best about PageUp?

I like that PageUp is very customizable and allows users to create engaging candidate journeys. It helps us efficiently hire people, track applications, contact candidates, advertise jobs, and manage compliance. We're able to minimize the time it takes for candidates to apply to our jobs, which reduces the drop-off rate. Overall, it's a powerful tool for a large, complex organization. What do you dislike about PageUp?

Few of the UK-based HR tech companies are integrated for PageUp already, so there is often a bit of hassle if you want to integrate other tools into your hiring stack. It took a lot of collaboration to get it customized to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable, Yet Needs KPI Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PageUp?

I like that PageUp offers highly customizable workflows tailored to our global and remote needs. It's great that it avoids the 'one-size-fits-all' trap and provides deeply customizable workflows, templates, and dashboards, which don't require any coding. As a global, remote/hybrid business with regional compliance rules and a distributed workforce, I appreciate that we don't have to bend our talent processes to the platform; instead, we build the platform to match how we work. What do you dislike about PageUp?

There's no way to customize KPIs for different departments (e.g., the sales team cares about 'time to hire for sales reps' while the product team cares about 'skills match rate for engineers')—all teams are forced to use PageUp's generic talent KPIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reasonably straight-forward and easy to use Recruitment software"

What do you like best about PageUp?

What I like best about PageUp is its user-friendly interface. The system is fairly straightforward and easy to use once you have an understanding of how it functions. This makes it accessible for users of all levels of technical expertise. Additionally, PageUp offers considerable customization options, allowing businesses to tailor the platform to their specific needs. There are many integration options with other business systems, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity. Overall, PageUp is a robust and versatile tool that significantly improves the recruitment and talent management process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PageUp?

What I dislike about PageUp is that it can be confusing for those who do not undertake frequent recruitment activity. The system's complexity may pose a challenge for occasional users, requiring a bit of a learning curve and work in providing education and ongoing support to hiring managers. Additionally, while there are many integration options available, they can sometimes be fiddly to configure between different vendors. This can lead to some frustration when trying to ensure seamless connectivity across various platforms. Despite these drawbacks, the overall functionality and benefits of PageUp still make it a valuable tool for recruitment and talent management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Professional, responsive, forward thinking and collaborative"
5/5
What do you like best about PageUp?

Very user friendly - it is easy to navigate around the system. Customer support - overall is exceptional. My Customer Success Manager is always willing to assist and will provide insights, ideas and solutions. The technical support whether via the ticket system or live support is also excellent, the turnaround times, advice/solutions provided are spot on. Forward Thinking - PageUp are always looking ahead for new features to incorporate and/or how to improve existing features. I really like the community feedback function where you can raise ideas which are reviewed and considered. Integration - we have two-way integration with other external providers as well as integrating with our HRIS system - which has been very beneficial in terms of efficiencies. 5/5
What do you like best about PageUp?

As the sole admin, I appreciate how simple it is to customise workflows, templates, and reports to match our hiring process. The system is user-friendly, and adapting it to business needs is straightforward. Training others to use it is also easy, making team collaboration smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PageUp?

The analytics and reporting features are not very user-friendly, especially for first-time users. It takes time to learn how to generate and customise reports effectively. The ease of use may also depend on the modules you use, as some areas feel more intuitive than others. More guidance or training resources would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive support"
4/5
What do you like best about PageUp?

I like the fact that it's very easy to request and receive support, whether via the Live Support feature or booking an appointment to a tech specialist. I also like how intuitive the system can be and how I can self serve using the Knowledge Portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PageUp?

The main downside in my experience lie in the end user experience with the Learning module. Specifically:

- content cannot be organised in a rationale way to invite gradual content discovery. With over 200 learning activities it's impossible to find what you look for organically

- none of the filters is useful in helping the user shortlisting content. These should be customisable

- keyword search is unforgiving, you need to use a very precise string to yield the correct results Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The search features are at times confusing. Sometimes it is difficult to determine the best way to search for a function or to perform a search that provides good results within their Knowledge portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PageUp?

Ability to customize workflows to match hiring processes and automating job posting, screening and interview scheduling to save time during bulk recruitment and including some of the AI job posting features.

We have had a few requests where we needed to customize Page up to suit our business needs and Myles Cronin and the Tech support team at page up did a fantastic job to help implement those changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface while functional can be a bit hard to find things especially for first time users. Customer service support is great once a Tech support person is assigned but initial contact can be a bit slow. Proactive support could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PageUp?

Some archaic pieces of tech still exist within the system that can cause confusion for users when they stumble upon it. There are some clear ways to objectively make this product better, and the process to get those changes in will take a bit of time/if it is ever able to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
