Optipub has a ton of features, it is very feature rich making it a true all-in-one platform.

Email and SMS are offered for communication with dedicated IP's (which are not insanely marked up like at competitors) allowing you to take full on control of your own deliverability. Plus they have a tool Postmaster Plus which integrates with SNDS and Google Postmaster to pull in all your deliverability data to stay in full control.

Other features we use daily besides email and SMS is the landing pages/campaigns/link builder features. We build out our campaigns through optipub bypassing the need for a clickfunnels, leadpages, or other external platform and allowing you to chain assets together in a flow (Video to LongForm to Orderform etc). They are currently building out the ability to do orders, upsells, downsell, etc through optipub in the future and looking forward to that.

Overall for a publishing business this is THE software to use. I have used Salesforce/ExactTarget, Hubspot, Infusionsoft, Iterable, Beehive, and many others in my career, but Optipub is THE software for publishing businesses. Other niche's can totally work here, but for publishing you won't find better.

The last comment and I think the BEST feature is the product support from Kyle, Matt, and the rest of the OptiPub team. They are quick, helpful, and always improving the system through feedback. They work very timely to make improvements, are always squashing any bugs reported and are easy to get ahold of a real person anytime you need help. You just won't find that on any other platform, if you truly want a partner and to be able to communicate to the team who builds the software your company relies on then this is it.

Optipub is still relatively "young", they are working to publish new features often, and so there are some things that are a WIP.

Optipub is still working on reporting, most of it is adhoc and it doesn't connect with reporting systems, you have to piece it together. While reporting is coming in the future it is currently my only true "issue" with the platform. The ability to segment lists in multiple ways has improved our email marketing, our reputation, lowered spam complaints and improved overal monetization of our lists. Very responsive to questions or calls for help, always offering recommendations for how to handle different features, the number of features and ways this platform can be used -- are all the most impressive benefits we've received. Dislike is the wrong word. If you have patience, this platform will help you engage your list. As marketers, we all want to be up and running instantly - but the patience part is the hardest part with Optipub. That's due to the various features, the time to integrate and execute, the learning curve on more than just list + send email = Money. Having the patience to get operational was the hard part for me. Kyle, Jason, and Matt are incredibly talented at what they do - and that is get emails delivered in the smartest and most efficient ways possible. I've been skeptical of almost everyone who has tried to sell me on improved email delivery by moving to the latest and greatest system... but I'm so happy I trusted my gut and went with the OptiPub team. They go above and beyond to get even the WORST lists working for you. And communication is great. Their ability to offer full control of your IP addresses, domain and sub domains gives you flexibility most other providers restrict.

The team is extremely responsive, and would proactively bring issues and suggestions to our attention to keep our email health clean. Moving to the platform is a breeze, the team offers a full migration guide and support.

This was our main email platform accounting for hundreds of millions of emails sent a year. It included our warm up series, paid files, receipts, automated lifecycle sequences, etc. We even ingegrated SMS with Twilio for a multi-channel approach in our campaigns all within the OptiPub user interface.

The main challenges working with OptiPub mainly were learning curve.

This system is robust with modules, and very useful API endpoints for developers. I wish there was more documentation to ramp my team faster.

Responsiveness. When I need something or want to try something new, they answer within the hour. They're very open to developing and working on new tech to take our email marketing to the next level.
