# Is OpenBOM a competitor to CADBase platform?
Hello!
Considering OpenBOM versus CADBase, is it correct to say that CADBase is more customizable and OpenBOM works out of the box (eassy setup for manufactures)?
Or are they completely different products?

# What is the best way to organize Fusion 360 models to make grouping parts more intuitive.
My assembly contains over 200 individual components, and managing these components is difficult in OpenBOM as a result of the confusing way that subassemblies are organized into groups. OpenBOM struggles to keep groups of components and subassemblies organized in an easy-to-understand way. This makes grouping components even more difficult given Fusion 360's poor subassembly management and lack of part folders. However, OpenBOM is helping solve the issue of communicating the details of CAD assemblies by streamlining the process of compiling part details into an easy-to-understand list.

# Can I get free subscription plan for using OpenBOM personally at all times?
I am using this OpenBOM for my personal use and hence I would like to get free access for using OpenBOM. I would even like to get free access for exporting the Bill Of Materials file as a pdf or an excel file from the CAD software that I use.

# What is the best way to add BOM's to fusison360 drawings?
In Fusion360 drawings, there is an option to add a BOM from OpenBOM; however, this feature has less control and cannot expand sub-assemblies used as folders correctly. Currently, we are using the flattened view in addition to a checkbox and a filter to extract the correct components. We then export the filtered flattened BOM as an excel spreadsheet and insert it into the Fusion360 drawings. Do you have any recommendations on a better way to accomplish this?

# What is the best way to create information of a custom 3D printed part
Would a direct export from a cad software provided all the necessary information such as cost and material used, if set in the program. Or would all that information need to be put in manually on Open BOM?
