# Is OpenBOM a competitor to CADBase platform?

Hello!

Considering OpenBOM versus CADBase, is it correct to say that CADBase is more customizable and OpenBOM works out of the box (eassy setup for manufactures)?

Or are they completely different products?

OpenBOM is SaaS PDM/PLM platform. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Cadbase.
