My company transitioned over about a year ago. I have found that once you get over the learning curve, it is a very effective program for attorney's offices. The most helpful feature of NetDocuments is being able to see the "physical file" online, including emails, without needing to find the physical file. The integration of Outlook into NetDocuments is a game changer for staff looking for information that is not in their email but someone else's. Staff can now quickly look at file if they are asked a questions by a client or lawyer and get the most recent information and activity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about NetDocuments? There is a lot of self-discovery for best practices and features that need someone trained in software analysis or implementation, which, if you do not have someone on staff who can do it, you have to hire third party which is expensive for smaller long firms. NetDocuments resolves two problems for us - reliance on the physical file, and closed storage. We are more efficient when we can quickly look into NetDocuments for information that we used to rely on the physical file. And we can wind down our need physical space for closed storage.
