As TorHoerman Law grows in size and case complexity, we needed a staffing partner that could scale with us. **What do you like best about Neostella?**

What I like the most about Neodeluxe is the Neostella organization that stands behind it. Everybody from the frontline technical support team through account management, and even up to the CEO are focused on serving client needs with urgency and integrity.

**What do you dislike about Neostella?**

This is not a complaint, just an observation. Many of the tools available in the suite are technical in nature and might require extra handholding from the automations team at Neostella. This is nobody's fault. These are powerful tools that require basic understanding of data and business process.

Having said that, please refer back to what I like best about Neodeluxe. The automation, onboarding, and customer support teams are phenomenal.

**What problems is Neostella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We chose to enter into an enterprise agreement with Neostella and utilize Neodeluxe in a variety of areas that include data quality stewardship, mass updates, and client portal interactions. Our initial focus has been in the mass update area and the tools have allowed us to solve some significant data quality issues both ongoing and post-conversion since our go live in our current Filevine environment. We have also been able to implement a number of creative solutions around user experience through backend automations that overcome some inherent limitations within the Filevine platform.

**What do you like best about Neostella?**

We partnered with Neostella to address a major gap in our tech stack—Filevine’s lack of a true local drive and seamless two-way sync. From the very start, Neostella stood out. As soon as I reached out, Branden personally called me that same day, and it was clear we’d found a team that understood the urgency of our needs. Their solution was exactly what we’d been searching for, and we signed up right away.

Since then, I can confidently say Neostella hasn’t just delivered the best solution on the market—they’ve also proven themselves to be one of the most responsive, collaborative, and genuinely supportive vendors we’ve worked with. Every interaction with their team has been easy, professional, and efficient. It’s obvious they care about their clients’ success, not just selling a product.

**What do you dislike about Neostella?**

While our overall experience with Neostella has been positive, I want to be candid about one aspect. When we first connected with Neostella, we were sold on the promise of a seamless two-way sync between Filevine and a SharePoint drive—a key reason we moved forward so quickly.

Only later did we find out that, due to technical limitations, the sync wasn’t actually going to be 100% seamless. Had this been communicated more transparently from the outset, I would have managed expectations differently and avoided some initial frustration.

That said, the Neostella team handled this with professionalism: they were responsive, worked closely with us through the challenges, and found effective workarounds that ultimately delivered what we needed. Since those adjustments, the system has performed reliably and their ongoing support has been excellent.

I appreciate a partner who stands by their solution and continues to engage until things work. I’d encourage Neostella to be upfront about any potential limitations in the sales process—it builds trust and sets everyone up for a stronger, long-term partnership.

Because Filevine lacks a native feature for direct local drive syncing, our team previously had to save files manually. Automating this process streamlines our workflow and significantly reduces administrative overhead.

The ability to leverage existing solutions and tools and then customize a new solutions around a customers needs.

Not much. They are great to work with. Getting tech support quickly is not easily accomplished. The support/incident ticketing system is slow and often times you are not dealing with the product expert that can resolve your issue. The issues always get resolved but it could be faster and more efficient.

**What do you like best about Neostella?**

It is a suite of great  easy to use products. Sync, Portal, Data Governance and Advanced Task Management.   All the products are fully integrated into Filevine software and Neostella assists with the implementation at every step of the way.  These products are built from practical user experience and deliver needed functionality to all levels of your organization.  They extend staff productivity and communication to the client in ways we could not provide previously.  Neostella provides full support for all their products. This software is used daily throughout the organization.

**What do you dislike about Neostella?**

Frankly there is no real downside. The product is always evolving to add additional features based on end user customer feedback so you know the result will continue to be practical needed functionality

**What problems is Neostella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to be sure that our data was secure and backed up so Sync does that for us. We use Data Governance to assist our staff in data entry to ensure that our data is clean and consistent with our standards. We use Portal to aid in communication with our client base as it allows end users and partners to readily provide needed information and recieve communications.

**What do you like best about Neostella?**

The team listened carefully and took notes while we were doing our Filevine build; they did not attempt to "upsell" but presented their products along with other businesses options while letting us independently decide what worked best for our firm. It is clear in the final days of implementation that notes were taken in meetings over the last year and everything on our "wish list" at the beginning is now comoing to life in our FV build.  The method of talk, show, teach is working well to put our FV into our hands but also knowing we have the team at our disposal long after launch. 

Overall very responsive to our issues and easy to deal with - great experience.

**What do you dislike about Neostella?**

There was one time we had a demo of another product and I was confused if it was built in, an add on, or another program entirely, but as time when on I came to understand (I think I was not in initial meetings so this was an internal fault).

At one point small groups in a larger group were the only people on certain emails and it would be much more helpful if everyone is in the loop as all the programs and job responsibilities do go off of each other so sometimes what one area didn't know, another did, and how changes can affect everyone - this was cleared up eventually where all attendees were invited to all maters, but earlier may have been better. (Again though not sure if this was an internal cause)

**What problems is Neostella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syncing data between related matters; syncing data to different tabs to reduce data entry by staff; allowing different programs to talk to us in one "home" and so staff does not have to be expected to login to multiple portals for answers in one case; dynamic ability for document generation options too

The Neo team are great collaborators and problem solvers.  We are working with them to improve on our existing tech infrastructure and develop a number of new solutions.  Our law firm has intricate, niche tech needs and Neo has been a competent, solution-oriented partner.

We are having a good experience with Neodeluxe.

**What problems is Neostella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Neo is working on replacing the existing automation platform we use with Neo automations.  We are able to use some they already have built, but they are also working with us on a lot of custom development to make sure that we get exactly what we need for our Filevine environment and our workflow.  Instead of having several different products with different management consoles and admin interfaces, Neodeluxe is going to bring together in one place several different products that will make managing our workflow easier and more efficient.  The Neodeluxe products we're using are going to improve the work experience of our team as well as service to our clients.

Neo offers great technology that works. We are using many of their software offerings. It is more cost effective than at least one competitor in my assessment. Neo has a very competent team that was able to complete important technology development projects for our law firm. They have been responsive and easy to work with.

I cannot say that I dislike anything about Neo. We are having a positive experience.

Our law firm uses technology to improve our client service. Neo has brought so much to the table helping us implement our ideas in new technology. Neo is very solution oriented. Among other things, Neo is replacing our existing 3rd party automation software used in our Filevine build with Vinebots.  Neo created Vinebots. It has been great having the creator of the software in charge of configuring it for us. The Vinebot implentation will allow us to use some other Neo software offerings that will improve our employees' work experience. Neo has also been a great technical resource servicing our Filevine build.

**What do you like best about Neostella?**

Our two-year experience with Matt Lautz, Tim Schmitt, and the entire Neodeluxe team has been fantastic. Their cloud solutions have improved our efficiency and effectiveness. The support our firm has received has been incredible. Matt and Tim have personally gone above and beyond to help us with any problem we have faced, big or small. I would definitely recommend Neodeluxe to any law firm.  In my experience, their complex problem-solving is second to none. They have been able to address any hurdle our firm is facing with brilliant solutions.

Nothing. We have had an excellent experience.

**What problems is Neostella solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their File Sync system between Filevine and Dropbox has given us flexibility with storage and how staff can operate. This solution will save us tens of thousands of dollars annually in server hardware, maintenance, and backup costs, and it has also made file sharing remarkably seamless for our attorneys and staff. Their Advanced Task Management and Automation tools give our staff improved efficiency and much more freedom within our CMS. We're particularly excited about their upcoming iManage DMS Chrome Extension, which will give us greater file visibility between our CMS and our DMS, which is crucial for our business.

The Neodeluxe products help streamline and automate a variety of tasks, freeing up our staff to have more time with our clients. We have also reduced human error and shifted some of the more tedious repetitive tasks off our employees' plates, making them happier. The Neodeluxe team has been fantastic to work with, from initial implementation to on-going support.

I can't think of any dislikes about Neodeluxe.

The Neodeluxe products help us streamline our communication with clients AND help use keep our data clean and consistent within Filevine. We are then able to use that data, leveraging the Neodeluxe data warehouse, to build reporting that helps the whole firm make decisions.

Neostella can also customize many of the out-of-the-box Neodeluxe integrations for even more powerful functionality.  I would recommend that any Filevine customer investigate Neostella's products & services.

Our Neostella support team has been absolutely integral to our success with our recent migration to Filevine.   Our process would never have been as seamless without their direct help & support from the build process through migration & deployment.

**What do you dislike about Neostella?**

Some of the automations are available but then are updated with new & better features very shortly after which causes some confusion & the need for further editing the system.  Some of our automation bots are still listed as "fix me" in the back end coding.

Our recent implementation of the Parent-Child automation saves a lot of time with data entry of common data points across multiple projects.

Neodelux automations are a game changer when configuring the Filevine platform. It took a great product and inhanced it. The entire support team were proffessional, efficient, and brilliant!

We've had to rebuild LeadDocket and Neodeluxe helped us do that. However, due to the workload it seemed we we're not being offered better ways to configure the systems.

Neodeluxed helped us migrate from Actionstep and Netdocuments to Filevine and continue to support our needs with changes and system issues.
