MRPeasy is extremely powerful and flexible software that integrates well with Apps such as Shopify and QuickBooks. I found it complex yet very easy to learn with a little effort. I would like additional report modification functionality over and above what is currently available. I would like to modify hard coded fields on certain reports. I would also like the ability to custom create some simple formulas or calculations on reports. A more robust report writer would be handy in certain situations. - The core MRP model is sound. It has items, versioned BOMs, manufacturing orders, purchase orders, customer orders, lots and stock levels. A small assembly shop can run on it from day one without consultants.

- The BigCommerce connector creates customer orders automatically, stamped with the storefront order number. So every sale reaches the system.

- The QuickBooks sync and custom fields are useful.

Sometimes navigation requires more button presses than it should when adding multi-layer data. This includes creating vendor purchase details for a stock item, or adding shipping or invoice details to an order, it feels like the back and save buttons have to be pressed repeatedly. I often spend considerable time investigating discrepancies, reconciling reports against source documentation, and locating specific records. Better drill-down reporting and clearer audit trails would help me identify issues faster, and improved search and filtering would make it easier to find customers, jobs, and historical records. Overall, It's very affordable for small manufacturing businesses yet packed with features and flexibility usually available only with expensive ERP systems. But it's the attention to detail in terms of data, functionality, and workflow that made me fall in love with it.

As with any resource planning software - the key to success is understating, planning, and implementing the data architecture that is right for your business. From templates, video instruction, documentation to friendly and helpful onboarding assistance from real people, MRPeasy helps you get things right the first time.

The fact that it integrates with QBO and other accounting packages is a huge plus. That you can track backwards from specific finished product lots to specific ingredient lots really helps out consumer packaged food manufactures who heed this ability as part of their HAACP plan. Not much. There are a few interface quirks that can be annoying: Can't re-schedule an MO from the MO itself - need to move them around in the calendar view; CRM module is awkward, and not really of much use unless you plan to use it as your primary CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What we liked is not having a steep learning curve to learn the ins and outs of the software. As all of us know, adopting to a new software takes time, they are not one size fits all since it's not custom made to our specific needs. However, MRPeasy comes close and does a very commendable job in making our company better in terms of inventory, production and so forth. Their tech support responds immediately so that helps a lot when we have some questions. I find MRPeasy really helps us stay organized and has significantly reduced wastage in our manufacturing processes. The stock management feature is particularly beneficial because it always gives me a clear idea of how much stock we have on hand and its value. I also appreciate the planning capabilities for our production. The transition from Sage to MRPeasy was smooth because it's user-friendly and much easier to use. What we like best about MRPeasy is how easy it has been to manage so many parts of our business in one system. We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits with a large inventory, and MRPeasy has helped us stay organized throughout the entire process from raw materials to finished products. There is honestly not much we dislike about MRPeasy itself. Most of the challenges we have experienced have been related more to the integration with QuickBooks than MRPeasy directly. For example, if a payment is deposited in our bank before we close out the invoice in MRPeasy, QuickBooks can sometimes generate a duplicate invoice entry when the information syncs over later. This requires some manual cleanup in QuickBooks. That said, the issue is more about workflow timing between systems than a problem with MRPeasy itself. I use MRPeasy for material resource planning in my small business that makes soap and bath products. I like how it gives us a centralized location for tracking inventory and creating product recipes, which helps us evaluate our COGS.
