Institute can manage and monitor their assets and facility management. There is also functionality of risk management. **What do you dislike about MRI Manhattan?** As of such there is no negative points from my side but data extrapolation and prediction of the risk can be improve by implementation of different models available. **What problems is MRI Manhattan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Problem related to project cost estimation and management. ### 2. Though the UX is the same across all modules and therefore makes it nearly impossible to use without extensive training and empirical learning processes. **What do you dislike about MRI Manhattan?** The UX is nothing short of horrifying. None of it is intuitive, and makes for the most frustrating experience as a user or an admin, even for one with a lot of experience in IWMS . **What problems is MRI Manhattan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing space, conducting space planning, managing social distancing, etc. We abandoned the use of Ops module because it is too hard to use, and it crashes constantly. ### 3. Disjointed system w/ major sync issues; not intuitive and creates daily frustrations. **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Christie D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2020 **What do you like best about MRI Manhattan?** Ability to add UDAs to capture additional data at multiple levels within the system has helped with ability to centralize data within one tool **What do you dislike about MRI Manhattan?** Multiple issues with sync between Core & Space - we have properties that get purged in Core but don't get removed from Space and new building are added in Core but don't propagate to Space and updates to building level UDAs is generating an error that can't seem to be fixed. Overall, application structure is convoluted and creates errors with high impact - system was more stable prior to update to AWS/v35. **Recommendations to others considering MRI Manhattan:** Fully evaluate product against all requirements and be sure you have thorough understanding of Core/Space - we have struggled with support from Trimble and having techs who are comfortable with both sides of the application. **What problems is MRI Manhattan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Color by options for floor plans is helpful for different departments, however, space status of Partially Occupied isn't always correct - we aren't seeing this updated space status for some spaces where occupancy is less than capacity. ### 4. Whether you are using accounts receivable for subleasing; accounts payable for facilities management, project management or leasing; compliance for ROU asset/Lease Liability bookings or cost reallocation by cost centre based on space occupancy, all results end up in the general ledger, which can be easily be interfaced to your ERP using the built in API's. **What do you dislike about MRI Manhattan?** Some of the setup can be a bit long winded but once the setup is done it works well. **What problems is MRI Manhattan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lease and Facilities Management efficiency. Projects managed with ease of progress and budget review. Grids and Dashboards supporting reporting across the modules. Real Estate costs effectively transferred to ERP. ### 5. The accounting and financial aspects of the platform go much deeper than most other similar offerings. **What do you dislike about MRI Manhattan?** Some functionality is a little too complicated for the average end-user - but this appears to be a trade-off for being so configurable. **Recommendations to others considering MRI Manhattan:** Others considering Trimble Manhattan might also want to consider having the team at R.O.I Consulting Group assist with the implementation. **What problems is MRI Manhattan solving and how is that benefiting you?** Almost anything Real Estate or Facilities Management related can be solved with this program.
