Scheduling calendar is powerful and easily toggles between different social media platforms. Editing posts was also very easy to do. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** The bugs in the system can't be ignored. Reauthenticating tokens for platforms weekly, and the Curate library, while an awesome idea - did not net me any additional content. This tool is also best used for businesses or individuals that already have a lot of content banked that needs organization. Because of the automation involved in Missinglettr, we felt our newer social accounts were more often affected by suspensions to ensure we weren't bots. This happened very frequently with use of the Curate resources, another reason we felt the library wasn't functioning as promised or planned. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Definitley worth exploration - ultimately didn't work for us. **What problems is Missinglettr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Missinglettr is ultimately a tool to help you organize you social media. After 6 months with this tool, I didn't have clean analytics because the connection between missinglettr and the various platforms keps getting disconnected. Lots more manual work required here than should be considered normal. ### 3. I've tried other solutions, like Hoot Suite, that take three times longer and deliver less functionality. With Missinglettr, I can set up multiple standard posting schedules for each account and choose the frequency and duration for each campaign. I might run most campaigns that post 18 times spread over 12 months. Other campaigns, such as those associated with an event, may run for only a few days. The program also allows me to set up holiday schedules by account, so I don't post on holidays. Since I have clients in the US and Canada, the holidays differ. Within each account I can also designate default hash tags. I use these all the time and then add other contextual hash tags unique to each campaign. The best part about Missinglettr is it extracts quotes and tidbits from blog articles which it uses to populate the social media posts. You can edit them (and I recommend you do), and choose the ones you want to use in your social media posts, but this saves a lot of time - no copying and pasting. One thing Missinglettr does that I haven't seen in any other tool is create dynamic images. In addition to the textual portion of each social media post, I can display an image from the post that Missinglettr has uploaded for me, or I can upload images separately. I also set up several templates for each account that can contain images. Superimposed over these images can be the blog article title or one of the extracted quotes. I can edit each post individually, allowing me complete control over what followers see in social media. Templates can include a logo, author photo, or company name. The colors, fonts, and transparency level of the quote bubble and text can all be controlled, allowing me to superimpose readable text without obscuring the image behind it. The ability to include superimposed text allows me to create messages that exceed Twitter's character limits. I can use two related quotes from the blog article, one in the text portion of the post and one in the image portion. The superimposed text in the image isn't subject to the character limits. Though Missinglettr is designed to extract quotes from a web page like a blog post, I have run campaigns to promote items such as eBooks. The Missinglettr short URL leads to a landing page. I compose the textual and quote bubble components by hand and upload my own images. Works like a charm and makes it easy to create long-term campaigns for evergreen content. Set it up once and it runs for a year. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** Missinglettr at one point had some serious issues with their analytics. Clickthrough counts were wildly inaccurate in some cases, making it difficult to report on results. This has now been corrected. If you post to lots of social media profiles, Missinglettr can get more expensive. It requires users to purchase additional profiles once the limit has been reached. The latest interface upgrade has improved the usability of the product but I have noticed that sometimes quotes I did not choose show up in the posts. It's not a problem, as I simply edit them or change to a different stored quote, but I don't think it's working exactly as designed. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Compare Missinglettr to similar products and I think you'll find that this product is more flexible and easier to use than the others. **What problems is Missinglettr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm managing 180 campaigns posting to 34 different profiles, simultaneously. I couldn't do that without a tool like Missinglettr. The program has allowed me to make my content more visible for a longer period of time. The value of my content has increased because of the year-long social media campaigns that promote it. Prior to implementing Missinglettr, blog posts would get promoted a handful of times after they were first published, then traffic to them would drop dramatically. By executing 12-month Missinglettr campaigns in multiple profiles in up to three social networks, followers are still clicking through to blog articles written a year ago. ### 4. It does not have benefits with features added every now and then very frequently - and the UI is not inviting to chat with customer support. What is natural has not been taken care of by Missing Lettr. It is not intuitive which is why I thought of getting an alternative over it. If I were summarising, it is intuitive and easy to use, and does exactly what it is designed to do, which is a way to give new life to your Blog posts. For those who haven't yet used it, you can take your Blogs and put them on an automated evergreen schedule for up to 12 months, and easily auto-generate different wording for each social media post, with the content drawn from the Blog. You can also write each social media post yourself, or edit the suggested text. Why would you do that? Previously I would write a blog, share it, move onto the next one. Missinglettr allows me to vary and adjust the audience and auto'magically' share it throughout the year. I also love that you can choose either an extract of text, or an image for the social media posts. Benjamin Dell and the team have designed something that works, and that also has a great UI. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** Nothing to dislike. I like it all. I can't think of any downsides. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Missinglettr is one of my favourite Apps and I highly recommend it. If you are putting the time and energy and resource into writing blogs but not fully utilising there thereafter, Missinglettr is most likely for you. It takes the need out of figuring out when and what to promote for my ongoing work, and does that by providing useful and quick suggestions of various promotion descriptions and images to go along with it. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** At times the service feels slow and clunky. Especially in the tag selection process. Doing things out of the main "best practices" provided is hard. Having it autogenerate other campaigns other than 12-months greenfield from an RSS feed or switching from one campaign type to another on an RSS feed created campaign is... impossible. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Connect it to your RSS feeds so it generates its automatic campaign content. Don't be too stiff about what Missinglettr suggests - make changes to it when it feels right or outright delete some of its schedules. On the 1-year long campaigns think how relevant your content would be a year from now - and delete a few of the future dates it suggests if you are uncertain. **What problems is Missinglettr solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to share my created posts and articles on social media over a larger period of time as opposed to sharing it once. It saves me a ton of time, and most of the posts are great as is. I barely have to adjust them. The platform itself is very easy to navigate. No other platform has that capability that I've found. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** I do have to aggregate my own graphics, as the system only pulls from the post (which is usually just a header image and maybe a supporting graphic. The system also does not push video, so if i want to post a gif to twitter, I have to do it manually. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Instagram and pinterest integration would be nice. I have to manually post to those two. Also, a way to have other people in my company verify their accounts remotely. I have to have them log in through my computer so set up their accounts in the platform, and when that connection expires, its a hassle to get them to log in again. **What problems is Missinglettr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've saved tons of time and energy knowing that the blogs I'm promoting on social media had an ongoing campaign that is AI scheduled through the Missinglettr platform. My favourite feature is using the templates provided and customize it to your branding. This saves time on visual creation for your posts, something that is incredibly valuable as it takes up more time than most other tasks. Customer service is prompt and helpful. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** I would like a greater variety of templates used. Since I started the software has improved greatly, but more design templates would be incredible. The ability to use different templates in the same campaign. I had added LinkedIn to my account for a very specific purpose, and the system began sending ALL of my scheduled posts to LinkedIn. I liked them a year ago when I signed up for a lifetime membership through AppSumo, but thought it needed some tweaks to be my go-to scheduler. Over the last year, they've listened to feedback and incorporated many new features. Now, I've canceled most of my other schedulers and use them exclusively. I'm saving a lot of money thanks to them! **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** Some aspects of the dashboard aren't very intuitive. I have yet to figure out how to restart a completed campaign, for example. Also, sometimes the quote bubbles look very low-res on Twitter. I do think they are working on improving those, though. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** It's great if you need a really robust scheduler that lets you automate social media while also customizing every message so that it doesn't sound automated. As I said, I bought the lifetime membership. Looking at the pricing now, it does seem a little steep (although comparable to other less-robust schedulers), so I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye out for another deal like that. **What problems is Missinglettr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for a long-term scheduler that could replace an expensive monthly one that I was using. While many like to focus on current features, I like to look at the progression of a tool. That gives a clear indication of what to expect in terms of future features. Being able to speak directly to the team and have any concerns dealt with almost immediately is key to the success of any product, even if there are limitations. Knowing that they will be dealt with and improved upon makes me a Missinglettr fan. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** I honestly cannot say anything I dislike, as I've been using this for over a year now and I've not had any problems with it. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Calculate how much time you spend creating social media posts throughout the year for current and old posts. If you don't do that, then you're missing out on getting your content promoted all year round. If you do, you'll know that Missinglettr is the obvious tool for you! **What problems is Missinglettr solving and how is that benefiting you?** As i mentioned in the title, I can set it and forget it. That is a huge problem solver for me. Knowing that when I write a post, I won't have to worry about promoting it during the year. And each one is custom-tailored to look and read different so it doesn't appear spammy at all. **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** I wish the platform was "smarter" about choosing quotes from my blog. I started using Missinglettr almost a year ago and never looked back. I love the suggestions for quotes the program provides, the ability to create branded images of those quotes, use the pictures of the blog posts or add others. Besides, it is possible to plan extra social media content on the calendar. Support is more than excellent, and Missinglettr keeps adding the new features they promise. I recommend this nifty social media scheduler to any of my clients and students **What do you dislike about Missinglettr?** I sincerely can't think of anything I don't like! **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** Just take the trial, learn how it works, the learning curve is not steep. Scheduling does take up a little bit of time, I always make some changes but at least I've got a headstart, and that is so helpful. By using the quote templates (images), my posts are always on brand. I use one single account for multiple websites. Clearly most of us wouldn't even think of doing it for so long, not mentioning taking the time to do it. Maybe 10 campaigns per week might be a bit low for some other teams, but for me it's enough. **Recommendations to others considering Missinglettr:** They do offer a free plan for 2 campaigns per week, you should try it out and see if helps you. I discovered it on AppSumo and I was sold instantly.
