The drag and drop canvas feels like PowerPoint so I build dashboards in 20 mins without googling stuff, and my boss who hates tech can just click a bar to filter data. Connecting to Excel, SQL, and Salesforce is super easy, I dont have to mess with CSVs anymore and sharing to Teams is just one click cause were already on Microsoft. Reports load fast too, like 2-3 seconds even with filters, we had a old tool that took forever to refresh. Pricing is decent at 10 bucks a month per user, saved us from paying 50k a year for another BI software and probably 5-6 hours every week of manual excel work. Onboarding was easy cause it looks like other MS apps, plus the community forums answer most questions. Performance is fine for small data but DirectQuery on large SQL tables gets slow, 10-15 seconds per click and users think the dashboard is broken. Pricing jumps a lot if you need Premium, going from 10 bucks to 5k per month is crazy for mid-size companies, feels like we’re punished for growing. Support is mostly community forums which is hit or miss, MS support tickets take days to get a real answer. The AI features like Q&A work 70% of the time but it breaks if your column names arent perfect, and Smart Narrative sometimes states the obvious like “sales went up when sales went up”. We also cut costs cause we cancelled a 30k/year reporting tool and just use Pro licenses at 10 bucks each. The AI stuff like Q&A helps when the CEO asks random questions in meetings — I type “show churn last quarter by plan” and get an answer instead of saying “ill get back to you”.
