    "Microsoft Power BI Review"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power BI?

Seamless Microsoft Integration: If you already use Excel, Microsoft 365, or Azure, Power BI serves as a natural and effortless extension. The integration functions smoothly and without hassle.

Affordable Entry Point: Power BI Desktop is available for free, allowing anyone to begin creating reports right away. The paid license is also competitively priced, making it a cost-effective solution for company-wide deployment.

Powerful Data Modeling: With tools such as Power Query and the DAX language, you gain extensive control over cleaning, transforming, and connecting complex data sources into a single, reliable model.

Quick Wins & Ease of Use: Connecting to data and building a professional, interactive dashboard is very fast thanks to the intuitive drag-and-drop interface. This makes it easy to move away from static, manual Excel reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power BI?

The DAX learning curve can be steep. While the user interface is straightforward for basic tasks, things become much more challenging when you need to perform advanced calculations using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). DAX is undeniably powerful, but its syntax is complicated, debugging can be a struggle, and concepts such as "Filter Context" are especially confusing for users who are used to working in Excel.

Another limitation is that the main report creation tool, Power BI Desktop, is only available for Windows. There is still no native Mac version, which means Mac users have to rely on workarounds like virtual machines to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
