## Transistor Reviews
  ### 1. The best podcast publishing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Val S. | Founder and Chief Product Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

It has everything I need to publish my podcast and it makes it easy to propagate my episodes to every podcast outlet. The price is great. It runs amazingly well. The team behind is always great and eager to help.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

There's really nothing I dislike about it. Love everything about Transistor.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easy to publish my podcast.

  ### 2. Switched from Podbean - never been more relieved

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

I was on Podbean for 5-years. It's where we launched our podcast so I just left it and now wish I had switched sooner. Transistor support is incredible, the website is professional looking. I've literally never been so releived to switch software in my life. They made the transition so easy. I left an awful review of Podbean on my way out desperately trying to get some help from their unresponsive support so I felt only fair to commend Transistor on doing a great job and building a slick platform.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Nothing yet, really enjoying the experience and support is A++ which is super important when you have issues like your website going down or episodes not syncing to the right channels because it kills viewership.
Not a negative but more feature requests:
1. Allow me to manually upload or import data from my previous provider so that it's not starting from zero
2. Maybe look at what Beehiv is doing. Would be cool to add a weekly newsletter sign-up and sending easily based on my weekly podcast launch.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great website and syncing to multiple channels.

  ### 3. We started our own podcast network with Transistor.fm

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos M. | Sr Manager of Opportunity Generation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Its flexibility to run more than one podcast and provide data for each podcast, so we have a really clear image of its performance.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I don't see any, as far as hosting is concerned there's nothing better, especially at the price it offers.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to grow the brand of our individual sellers as subject matter experts in different fields. So we took to podcasting as one route to achieve that. We use Transistor to host, manage, and publish 8 different podcasts.

  ### 4. The most comprehensive and easy to use podcast host

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taegan G. | Publisher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

It's extraordinary how many cool features Transistor is able to include in their service. They blow away their competititon.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I had one early tech support exchange that was not very helpful.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an elegant and easy to use service.

  ### 5. Best hosting platform for our Podcasts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karuthapandian M. | Lead - Marketing Operations, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

After testing transistor for a few minutes, I'm just sold to the platform. Pretty simple and good UI that helps me navigate and understand the platform better.

Distribution, uploading and viewing analytics are just wow!!

The tool looks simple, but trust me it's a powerful one if used in a right way!

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

So far nothing, if they have made the Apple podcast distribution simpler then there's nothing more that I could ask for from the platform

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. It helps us distribute our podcast in various mediums
2. It also helps us to view the performance metric of each season, each episode.
3. Stable and Reliable UI
4. Good and responsive Support team

  ### 6. Très bien

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Making W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Quality and very responsive customer service, the landing pages are very useful!

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Landing pages are not very customizable at the moment.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having to upload our podcasts in several clicks

  ### 7. I've used the app for 3 months now and love it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artur K. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

I have been an early access user of Transistor.fm for a few months before they launched. I have wanted to start a podcast for years and came up with every excuse in the book for not doing it. Transistor removes all of the headaches of publishing and maintaining your podcast. The online dashboard easy to use, you will be up and going in minutes. This is the hosting solution I knew I wanted even before I saw the product. So actually getting what I wanted at a really good price is a no brainer. Justin and Jon have been really responsive to feedback as well!

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I don't have any complaints about Transistor at the moment.

**Recommendations to others considering Transistor:**

Transistor removes all of the headaches of publishing and maintaining your podcast. The online dashboard easy to use, you will be up and going in minutes.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The online dashboard easy to use, you will be up and going in minutes. They allow for multiple users so that you can have multiple people manage show episodes. It can even create a website for your podcast

  ### 8. There is not a better podcast host

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil G. | Assistant Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor allows podcast creators to create multiple shows on one account easily.

The feature has been essential for me as a university professor who creates a new podcast series of lectures for every new class I teach. With Transistor.fm I pay one monthly fee and can set up as many shows (or in my case, classes) as I need to.

Another feature that Transistor.fm has is the ability to quickly and easily submit your podcast to all the different repositories (Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, etc). It took me less than 10 min to have my podcast submitted to all the directors I wanted.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I've been using Transistor.fm for over a year now, and I can honestly say there is nothing I don't like about the service.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big problem I had before I was using transistor was having to hobble together lots of different services and/or accounts on one service to create podcast-lectures for my students to listen to.

With Transistor.fm I'm able to do all the work in one spot, with one account.

  ### 9. Incredibly easy to use, very reliable, and the best customer service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

The ultimate reason I went with Transistor is because their plans are priced based on the number of downloads you receive rather than the number of shows you have. I really like the idea of charging based on your show's success rather than your initial idea.

After starting my free trial, and created my first show, I immediately fell in love with how easy to use their interface was. They integrate with a number of email services, auto-submit your show to most of the top podcasting platforms, and recently added Zapier and a developer API for integrating with anything else you could imagine.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

The one feature that I initially had difficulty with is their built-in website builder. It's a little limited and was difficult to style nicely. But they also offer an embeddable HTML player and simple social media landing page as well, so really you could always utilize those to build a standalone landing page for your show too.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transistor.fm is a podcasting host, so this product creates a feed for your podcast episodes so they can be accessed by podcast players like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Breaker, and all others.

  ### 10. Hands down the best Option for managing multiple podcasts easily

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor's incredibly simple, easy to understand interface makes it easy to add, update, share and manage one or more podcasts. An absolute blessing for solo creators or small teams.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Transistor doesn't have some of the integrations with other stats services that could be helpful for more advanced podcast users. While powerful, it feels like there are power-user features that may be lacking for some.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We migrated from a VERY outdated podcast host that was clumsy and cumbersome to update. Transistor makes it easy to upload, share and track each episode across multiple shows.

  ### 11. Empowering Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daedalus H. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

This is an extraordinary company in terms of how they encourage and enable creators at every level with a particular emphasis on individuals and organizations new to podcasting

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Across the board my experience has been excellent.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transistor has enabled my company to launch an independent and diverse podcast network and even recently launched a monetization program.

  ### 12. We trust Transistor for our business podcast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor is easy to use, works the way we need a podcast host to work and has phenomenal support. If you aren't already using Transistor to host your podcast, you should definitely switch right now. Their pricing also makes it a pretty easy decision to use their software.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Nothing - it has all the features we need, and their support is amazing.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to have a podcast for our company (Fathom) but don't have a ton of time to deal with hosting and uploading episodes to each platform. That's why we chose Transistor, we can automagically set things up and they take care of the rest.

  ### 13. Decent platform for our podcast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben C. | Head Of Adventures, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Easy to use, upload and share to various platforms

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Nothing to really note regarding dislikes

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great centralised space for podcast episodes, with great analytis

  ### 14. Hosts 200+ episodes of our top 50 Apple charts podcast. Super easy to use and amazing support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake O. | Executive Producer & Co-Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

The app is really easy to use and offers us an easy way to both host our podcast and run a website. I love the social optimized landing pages for each episode and automated distribution to practically every podcast app under the sun. The support is fantastic. For example, Jon jumped onto a ticket I submitted over the weekend to fix an integration with our mailing list and even enhanced it beyond my expectations.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I'm hoping for more in terms of analytics on the dashboard, such as being able to filter for a specific period or set of episodes for the download metrics. Right now it appears that average downloads per episode calculates across all our episodes, which is less useful now that we've got a few hundred episodes. I'd prefer to be able to see that data just for the more recent episodes. However you can export to CSV so there are ways to get this type of more detailed analytics manually if you need them.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I chose Transistor because I wanted simple pricing with an integrated website. Transistor saves me a lot of time because I don't have to worry about hosting a separate site.

  ### 15. Transistor.fm Offers a Full Suite of Podcast Publication Tools and a Truly Supportive Support Staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian F. | Owner/Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

When I started looking for a better way to manage my podcasts, I was spread across two different tools - Anchor.fm and Podbean. I was able to quickly migrate my two podcasts over and start that process with only a little pain when dealing with distribution platforms like Spotify and Apple. I reached out to the support crew and within minutes had answers to some of my questions with details that got me moving the right direction. And as other issues cropped up here or there, the support staff (even on weekends) has been able to jump on and help me get things working again. The suite of tools is impressive, but the support staff is stellar.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Honestly nothing. This platform offers everything I could want for managing multiple podcasts and I look forward to exploring it further!

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I came to Transistor with two pre-existing podcasts. One on Anchor.fm and one on Podbean. I didn't have an easy way of managing both of them in a single location and Transistor provides that out of the box. In addition, my Podbean podcast was woefully underdistributed because that platform made such efforts very manual in implementation. As such, migrating over to Transistor enabled me to share old episodes with new audiences quickly and easily.

  ### 16. Transistor is the best platform for hosting multiple shows!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor has made my experience hosting multiple podcasts an absolute dream!

I host multiple public and private podcasts with Transistor so I can speak to several different scenarios – all of which are completely pain-free with Transistor.

Public podcast as a solo host: Standard setup and Transistor's UI makes it easy for me to upload my show, add show notes, host a website, and give visitors a simple way to subscribe.

Public podcast as a co-host: My co-host and I both love Transistor and collaborating on show notes while an episode is in "Draft" mode prior to publishing is as easy as can be.

Private podcasts: As a product consultant, I often run user experience interviews for my clients. I've used Transistor's private podcast feature to make the interviews available in a secure feed so that my clients and I can listen back to the customer interviews using the podcast player of our choice. It's very effective!

In every scenario, Transistor has made hosting my shows simple, secure, and affordable. I'll be using them for a long time!

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Mobile layout was bad for a while but now it's completely fixed.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been trying to elevate my public profile for a while and hosting my podcast on Transistor has taken the admin/maintenance side of the equation completely off my plate. I have to show up and do the work of creating content (obviously), but I never have to worry about my podcast going down or my host making my life difficult. It couldn't be any easier!

  ### 17. Superb Hosting, Support & Multi-Show Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eamonn C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

The ability to spin up multiple shows without additional costs or very much effort was a big selling point for me. This is becoming more ubiquitous in the podcasting space, but Transistor does a fine job of making the UI seamless and the experience frictionless. I've used other hosting in the past, and this is an area where the co-founders certainly shine--it's clear that they have spent a lot of time making the interfaces clean, usable and intuitive. In the 15 or so months that I've been on the platform, I've already seen one major overhaul on the UI which improved upon an already excellent user experience.
Justin & Jon are practitioners in the podcasting space themselves, and host a show which I followed for some months before signing on with them. It's always good to be using a product in a space in which it's clear the owners are experts themselves. Support (of which I've used for only a couple things) has been excellent. Their documentation is solid, and on the few occasions where I've reached out for specific issues, responses have been swift and helpful.
I suspect I will utilize their private podcast feeds feature at some point, but I don't have experience with it yet. However, specifically for business use cases, this is a huge selling point as well. Having privately accessible feeds is becoming more common with companies' internal podcasting and messaging, and I can see this being a useful (and huge) feature that I use eventually.
Twitter links share nicely with a mini podcast player. Auto-generated website for each shows is a great feature if you don't want to fool with building your own site. Analytics are well done and easy to read--they've focused on the most valuable ones for advertisers, and also allowed linking up to 3rd party analytics.
Onboarding my shows from their old feeds was seamless too--everything pulled over easily. For new show creation, they've synced up with all the major providers to really simplify getting your podcast listed everywhere. In many places, one click will submit your show to the right place.
And it's nice to be a part of what I know to be a small, tight-nip founder team. This ethos goes well in the podcasting space imo.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

For a solo-practitioner, $19 may be a steep entryway for a monthly fee. There's a fee trial, but $19 is the cheapest plan. My podcasting, though proficient, is merely for the sport of it and I use it as an artistic platform. For solo shows with no intention of actually using the private feed feature or the unlimited-show feature, I might try out a less costly solution that will simply get someone's feet wet with podcasting. For those familiar with the format and the hosting options, though, you'd be hard pressed to find a better option.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every podcast has to be hosted somewhere. There are a ton of options, but Transistor has taken out the complexity of getting up and running for new shows and made it easy to get multiple shows hosted under the same roof. I particularly needed this multi-show feature as I like to experiment with new podcasts often.

  ### 18. Awesome podcast hosting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

It was super easy to get up and running, and it helps you submit your podcast to the various directories (Apple, spotify, etc). It also gives you a landing page if you want, and I love the API and embeddable player that lets me put the latest podcast episodes on our landing page.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Nothing really to dislike! It does exactly what it says: it helps you get your podcast up and running super easily.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to host a podcast and Transistor makes it super easy to get started. Fair prices and a clean interface make it a no brainer.

We have two people operating the podcast, and it lets us share responsibilities (one is an admin, one just a user). It also gives us basic analytics that make it easy to see where and who is downloading our podcast.

Also, the ability to just click a button to submit to the various podcast hosts (Apple, Google, Spotify, Overcast, etc) is _super_ nice and easy compared to doing that all by hand.

  ### 19. A truly perfect platform for a first time podcaster.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Being new to podcasting I didn't know much about where to start. Transistor had really thoughtful blog posts that helped me as I was picking up equipment, planning my first episodes, and sharing my first creations.

Once I finished creating my first episode I was delighted at how I could upload it and see it showing up in different podcast platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I haven't found much that has caused me frustration or friction. Transistor allows you to create a website or embed a podcast player. The podcast player they provide is well-designed, although you cannot customize the exact colors, it comes in light and dark theme and look good.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I see podcasting as another touchpoint for my network. So far I've been able to use this platform as a great way to host the conversations I'm having with other that have like-minded goals

  ### 20. Transistor Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor essentially automates podcast distribution and makes it really simple. Just a few clicks can get your podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and more. The analytics tool is powerful and helps to track success. Also, the company is small but the customer service is phenomenal. Quite frequently, I'll even chat with the founder of the company.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

There really isn't anything that I dislike about Transistor. I will say that we're still having a little bit of trouble getting the podcast on Apple Podcasts, but that's not Transistor's fault. Apple Podcasts can be difficult sometimes.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Podcast distribution made easy. I have a lot of other duties in my job, and I don't want to have to visit each distribution service to get my podcast up there.

  ### 21. Best Podcast Host Available!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy C. | Executive Director Of By His Grace Ministries, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Unlimited Podcasts, Unlimited Storage, Unlimited Bandwidth, Great interface! Excellent Audio Player

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Would prefer unlimited downloads and would love to see a way to broadcast live.

**Recommendations to others considering Transistor:**

What you will find is that while Podbean, Buzzsprout, and other hosts have much to offer and are likely great companies, my choice of Transistor is about my positive feelings towards them and not about negative ones against another. I think that the other companies while they have certain attributes I am looking for, they have certain limitations that Transistor does not.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transistor is the perfect podcast host when you compare it to everything else that is available. Honestly, at first it seems "too good to be true" and typically in life this is the case. However, with Transistor, it is not too good to be true because it is in fact, true! Unlimited Podcast shows, unlimited storage and bandwidth, and only $19/month for 15,000 downloads. There are upgraded plans for those who have a larger audience of course. However, for starters, and those still growing, it is a perfect plan!

The interface is insanely easy to use and uploading audio files is quick and simple. Managing the podcast is easy and the stats that are provided are great. I was using a service that while it had unlimited storage and bandwidth, it did not provide unlimited podcasts. Also, I love the simple way in which one can distribute a podcast to the major players in the podcast world like Itunes, Spotify, and Google, etc.

I love the fact that Transistor does not downgrade the audio file to a lower quality. The sound is a dream!

If I were to have a wish list item, I would love to see Transistor add video as an option at some point too. Being able to house all of my audio and video under their roof would be an absolute win!

  ### 22. Easy peasy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Val S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor is one of those products that you don't notice you're using. It's intuitive. It does what it says it does. And the best part is that you don't have to worry about submitting to other podcast players (Spotify, Overcast, etc.) It does it all for you.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I can't really think of one thing that I dislike about it.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Transistor I know that my episodes will stream all over the world without any lags. Their team is incredible and I know they take care of the itty bitty details that I don't have to worry about. All I have to do is record my episode, upload it to Transistor, and hit Submit.

  ### 23. The only podcasting software I now use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor takes care of the distribution, online presence and analytics of all of my podcasts. I only have to worry about creating the content which is a difficult enough task as it is, but using Transistor frees me up to focus on this and this alone.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

There's nothing I dislike, but it would be good to have more layout and design options for the hosted landing page.

**Recommendations to others considering Transistor:**

If you're looking for one place to host, share and analyse the performance of your podcast I'd recommend Transistor. I've had to use the customer support on a few occasions and can also speak highly about the helpfulness and speed of response, which is always a big factor in what products I choose.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have an educational podcast about insurance and the biggest benefit from using Transistor is the analytics and specifically seeing what episodes have been the most popular. This has allowed me to make the right decisions with what content to double down on, landing pages to create and discussions to have with my customers.

  ### 24. Quickly Get Your Podcast(s) Online

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

You can quickly get a podcast online and distributed.
You can have as many podcasts as you like. Some hosts charge per podcast.
You get access to a website for your podcast if you wish.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

That it charges per downloads vs "unlimited" downloads like some hosts. However that's part of it allowing for unlimited podcasts.

**Recommendations to others considering Transistor:**

If you need just one podcast, you might get a better price elsewhere. But if you need to host many podcasts in one place, this is a great product.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to spend a lot for each of my podcasts. Now I can host on one place. I've noticed their analytics are easy to understand too.

  ### 25. Dependable and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

It's really easy to get started with Transistor, and they automatically take care of a lot of the steps of setting up and distributing a podcast. I've previously used Libsyn and found Transistor to be much smoother out of the box. I love that they include a website for the podcast.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

There isn't anything I dislike per se, but it would be nice if Transistor had email list capabilities built-in so I don't need a separate ConvertKit account to communicate with our subscribers.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transistor makes it easy to publish and grow a podcast. We got up and running very quickly.

  ### 26. So easy to start a podcast with!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

The I like how it handles everything, it gives helpful analytics connects to the podcast platforms really easily and even generates a website for me!

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I haven’t found any yet, I had a great experience the whole way through.

**Recommendations to others considering Transistor:**

I would give the trial a go, as you can cancel very easily if you don’t like it (but I’m sure you will)

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use transistor to host our new postcard we just started, as we didn’t want to manage it manually, other free options exist, but I have to question how they are making money.

  ### 27. Nothing can beat the unlimited podcasts and one-click submission!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor has an amazing UI that makes podcasting dead simple. You can host as many podcasts as you want for the same price. They’ve got a killer one-click submit feature for podcast players. Also: Fantastic humans!

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Nothing. It’s super affordable for what you get and they’re constantly shipping new updates and improvements.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You’d think that hosting a podcast was simple. But there’s so much nuance and a bit of a learning curve to overcome. Transistor holds your hand every step of the way and shows you exactly what you need to do. I never worry about anything podcasting-related because I know Transistor can do it or teach me how to do it.

  ### 28. Excellent user experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Transistor makes it simple to quickly and easily distribute your podcast. Some of my favorite features are the analytics dashboard, and the "done for you" landing page.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

No obvious downsides. A fellow podcasters switched from another service to Transistor, and he did notice that his "downloads" number decreased. We believe this was because the other service was incorrectly reporting numbers.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As previous mentioned, the greatest benefit is the ease of podcast distribution.

  ### 29. Perfect for podcast hosting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

I have a business where I need to manage multiple podcasts, Transistor is the absolute best. Their interface is clean, their support is top notch, and it’s easy to setup secondary users to manage the different shows.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

I wish I could organize my shows into folders.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple shows all accessed with one login. Rather than having multiple signings and charges to my credit card.

  ### 30. Transistor - The best and easiest podcasting platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan H. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Very easy to use, great support, analytics update lightning-quick.

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

Had a real hard time getting the website set up, but that was self-inflicted DNS issues. The docs weren't great at helping me resolve them, but they've since updated them.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're publishing our podcast about our business startup journey, and being able to easily put that out there without adding effectively a second job really helps.

  ### 31. Worth the money. Completely reliable.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ollie H. | Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Transistor?**

Works great with our three person workflow

**What do you dislike about Transistor?**

The hosted podcast pages are only customisable in limited ways.

**What problems is Transistor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a reliable RSS feed, and reliable analytics.
