We worked with Taylor and he was extremely thorough in providing the information we needed. **What do you dislike about Luminous?** It doesn't necessarily work for all the functions of our business. Admittedly, the business is quite complex. We have multiple inventory management systems, as we have different types of term orders. I feel like Luminous is not super user friendly for complex systems, because it requires all the fields to be perfect before it will allow you to progress - but it doesn't give you a clear error message if you missed something. It allows the order to be pushed through, then you find out in the sync with our warehouse if it didn't go through correctly. **What problems is Luminous solving and how is that benefiting you?** The net-30 and payment term usage is nice for us. What we love is how easy it is to onboard different clients and tailor the platform to their workflows — whether it's inventory tracking, order routing, or financial reporting. It’s flexible enough for smaller teams but powerful enough for brands doing 7–8 figures. Plus, their support team works closely with us to troubleshoot quickly and offer customizations when needed. **What do you dislike about Luminous?** There’s a bit of a learning curve in the beginning if you're coming from something super basic or spreadsheet-based but so minimal. Setting up and maintaining inventory was seamless because of the hands-on treatment of the Luminous team (Taylor is awesome!), making the whole process incredibly efficient and stress-free. Easy to Use One of the standout features of this software is its user-friendly interface. Even for someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy, navigating through the various functions is really east. Very Helpful Chat Feature The integrated chat feature is incredibly helpful. Whether it's answering quick questions or providing detailed support, the responsiveness and effectiveness of the chat support make a world of difference. Easy Automation to Link to APIs Automation reach is another strong suit of this software. Josh was able to fly out to Oklahoma and spend an entire day with our team to learn everything about our company. We have certainly not provided them with a very easy transition to start tracking our inventory because our business has so many different variables that can certainly be challenging, but it has not stopped them from creating an inventory tracking system that works perfectly for our business. Being able to track inventory is such a crucial aspect of running a business and they have made that happen for us! Josh is incredible and is always there with any questions that I might need. They use Loom and create a detailed video to walk you through every question that you might have. It is super helpful when learning how to utilize Luminous! **What do you dislike about Luminous?** We started integrating to Luminous about 2 months ago and have not had any complaints this far. Our account is not currently tracking all of our inventory/sales yet due to them still working on some things. But, we do not expect to have any issues once we are fulling integrated. What is great about the Luminous' team is that if you do have an issue with something they are very eager to get that changed or updated for you. We've historically cobbled together a bunch of spreadsheets, Shopify plugins, and other messes to do what Luminous can do in a single software suite. Now, let's be honest: we're still onboarding, but the experience so far has been excellent. A huge shoutout to Josh S. for his availability via phone and on-site. He has been excellent at helping us onboard, integrate, and implement. We're still in the middle of the whole onboarding process, but so far, so good. **What do you dislike about Luminous?** It's spendy for a small biz, but I think it will make us a better company over time. Probably worth the dinero? I think it will be, but it will probably take us another 2-3 months before we're seeing a solid return on the software investment. **What problems is Luminous solving and how is that benefiting you?** Inventory management, cycle counts, forecasting, and dealer orders. The hope is it helps us make billions and trillions of dollars. ;) I tease. Real talk: my hope is that this investment reduces errors and frction in our business.
