The clearest strength of this tool is how well it shows real customer behavior. With session recordings and heatmaps, it’s very easy to see exactly where shoppers click, hesitate, or get confused. That visibility turns into practical insights I can actually act on to improve my storefront, without needing a data science degree to make sense of the data.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

There’s definitely a bit of an initial learning curve when you first log in. If you’re not already familiar with behavior analytics, it can take some time to figure out which reports are most relevant to your goals. Because of that, the onboarding could be a little more streamlined and beginner-friendly.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes the guesswork out of figuring out why visitors aren’t converting. Because I can see exactly where people drop off or get stuck, it’s easier to pinpoint friction points in my navigation and page layout. That clarity helps me make more informed changes, and those decisions have directly boosted my store’s sales.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

I really appreciate how straightforward it is to track where our traffic comes from and what specific actions visitors take once they arrive. It’s made it easy to set up custom activity goals, so we can pinpoint exactly when someone completes a high-value action. The initial implementation was also incredibly fast, which helped us get up and running quickly.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

The live tracking feature often feels a bit glitchy and doesn’t always update smoothly in real time. I also think the attribution for certain visitors could be much clearer, because there are times when it’s hard to get a definitive sense of exactly which source or campaign actually brought them to us.

It gives us much-needed visibility into our engagement metrics and helps us pinpoint friction points throughout the user journey. **What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

It provides extremely detailed visitor data while still being very simple to navigate. The session recording feature has been a total game-changer for us; being able to replay customer activity like a video gives a completely different perspective on what’s actually working on the site and what isn’t.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

The pricing could definitely be more competitive, especially for smaller operations. I’ve also noticed the dashboard isn’t very light on system resources; it can be quite taxing on basic laptops and really needs decent hardware to render recordings and heatmaps smoothly without lag.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me better understand what our customers are thinking by showing exactly what they search for and where they click most often. Having that level of visibility lets us continually refine our store design and product offerings based on real user intent, instead of relying on guesswork.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

I really like being able to see what people do when they get to the website with Lucky Orange. It's not always easy to know how to organize data on a page, and the whole idea is to be able to get people to take an action. Seeing where they're going gives me insights. It's about the ability to see how your website visitors are looking at your website. That's the opportunity that Lucky Orange provides, and it's something that I find very beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

I wish Lucky Orange had a desktop app that alerts me when someone visits my website. Right now, I have to keep it open in a browser to get notified, which isn't ideal for someone working at a desktop all day. Having a desktop icon or app that could alert me with a ding would be a great feature. Also, the initial setup had a bit of a learning curve, figuring out everything it can do, but once you get past that, it's easier to use.

I find the heat maps feature in Lucky Orange to be a massive part of its appeal. Knowing where people are clicking, which pages and sections of the website they interact with is super important for us. This feature helps streamline and optimize our websites, especially in performing conversion rate optimization. Lucky Orange makes everything so easy with its user-friendly interface and relevant columns, making it great for new users to start using heat maps or recordings and see all that data. The initial setup of Lucky Orange on our Shopify store was really smooth, as it was just a one-click process, with a plan layout that's well simplified for ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

I think an improvement could be made to aggregating the data. More insights around where it notices people have been struggling would be really, really helpful.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

I love that I can watch customer visits online to help pinpoint issues the customers are having when trying to place an order.  We also like to receive the daily and weekly updates with website traffic numbers to see how it compared with the previous week.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

I wish it was easier to find which customer name corresponds to which customer.  I have to dig a little to find the right recording for the right customer.

Seeing where customers are going on the website and what issues they come across when going there. It is helping us make a better customer experience on our website.

What I like most about Lucky Orange is how clearly it shows real customer behavior. The session recordings and heatmaps make it easy to see where shoppers get confused, where they click, and where they drop off. As a small Shopify business owner, the insights are practical, easy to understand, and actually actionable without needing advanced analytics knowledge.

There is a bit of a learning curve at first when figuring out which reports and features to focus on, especially if you’re new to behavior analytics. However, once you spend some time with the platform, it becomes much easier to navigate and use effectively.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

I love Lucky Orange because as soon as I added the script onto my site, I started seeing live data, and that hooked me. I like how simple the dashboard is; it's really easy to use. The recordings and the profile page it offers for each user that visits the site are great. I love seeing if it's a returning user or a new one, which is excellent for CRO. Lucky Orange tracks sessions where users performed certain actions, which is fantastic to track. Unlike Hotjar, Lucky Orange was very easy to set up, and I haven't had any complaints so far.

That I wish I had discovered it sooner

Very easy to use and navigate as well as useful insight and clear interface for data collection. The performance is good. Live and Fast Recording very useful and tech savvy. Integration is also super easy to use with Wordpress website platform. Also Pricing is very reasonable.

Maybe adding in a tutorial video for the introduction would be great for first time user. But overall it is all good.

Allow us to see where the drop off point on our website pages located and what is the user interacting and clicking on is super useful to help us refine our website interface design.

I really like the go live feature and the heatmaps that Lucky Orange offers. The heatmaps help me see where people are focusing their clicks, which allows me to arrange the page more effectively. The go live feature is fantastic because it gives me real-time access to where customers are viewing on my website. Also, I found the initial setup very easy, and it seamlessly integrates with Shopify.

Sometimes the sessions are doubled up but that may be coming from Shopify's end.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

It’s incredibly helpful to watch recordings of how users interact with our website. What I like most is being able to apply filters to those recordings so I can focus on specific landing pages, campaigns based on UTMs, and different traffic sources.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

I wish there were a more high-level summary of page performance that I could filter—for example, bounce rate or average time on page for a specific page filtered by UTM/source.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lucky Orange allows us to see each individual user on our website. Other software tends to focus on everyone as a whole, but Lucky Orange lets us look at each person separately and better understand user behavior. The heatmaps are also super helpful for figuring out how to refine our website design.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

I love how Lucky Orange makes it easy to identify and fix pain points on my e-shop. It lets me see the behavior of potential customers, understand what they're interested in, and improve features accordingly. It's invaluable for resolving order disputes because I can view detailed data, like searches, visits, and actions, to understand what happened and defend against false allegations. I appreciate that it provides all the information I need about my e-shop in great detail, eliminating guesswork and helping me make informed decisions. I also find it useful to see where each customer comes from, how often they visit, and gauge their interest in specific products, so I can encourage purchases. Setting up Lucky Orange was a breeze, just a click and it was ready to go.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

There's no horizontal scroll bar to enable me to scroll right and left to see all the info on a customer's visit. I am obliged to zoom in/out continuously to be able to get the full picture. This is very inconvenient! Also, the Search function is unnecessarily complicated. I don't understand why I can't type a simple search term to get what I want immediately. Most of the time, I have to experiment with various terms, asterisks etc. and spend a few minutes until I am able to get what I need (at last...)!

Lucky Orange lets me see where my e-shop has pain points, understand customer behavior, and address disputes effectively by showing real data about customer interactions, which helps me defend against false claims.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

The screen recordings are great. I like being able to see live customers on the site.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

Navigating the dashboard vs. heatmap tools could be more intuitive to find and navigate. I always struggle remembering how to get into the heat map view. And then when I do sometime the data loads properly and sometimes not. It's buggy. Also, finding recordings to replay again even a day later is often a challenge. Also, I've implemented polls before and the criteria is either unintuitive or there is a bug. It rarely if ever showed the poll according to the criteria I listed.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GA4 is great for seeing page metrics. However, Lucky Orange gives much greater insight into the opportunities for improving UX and CRO. For example, you can watch videos of users interacting with various pages. You can setup criteria for very specific sampling or go broad. I've used this tool along with others in the past, and always come back to LO as I work for various brands.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

I like being able to view user recordings because it makes it easier to see where people get stuck and, in turn, helps them have a happier experience. Their chat feature is also really handy; I use it every day to answer our customers’ frequent questions. Overall, it’s always been easy to use, and their customer support remains excellent. I got help from support today regarding bot tracking and having that removed. The person I worked with was professional and helpful in resolving it, and they offered solutions that went above and beyond what I expected. Easy to integrate with our old website and our new one.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

Sometimes I wish I were notified more reliably when a customer uses the chat. Even when I show that I’m available, I don’t always get an alert when they leave a message. I’m not sure whether that’s because the tab isn’t always open or if it’s something else.

Other times, it doesn’t consistently save the recording, especially during checkout with Shopify. That could be for security reasons, but sometimes the recording is the key piece of the puzzle I need to help solve a customer’s problem. It’s also very time-consuming to sort through sessions, and they aren’t always completely accurate.

This may also be related to switching to Shopify, but finding the right customer session can be difficult. Their browser location isn’t always the same as where they’re actually buying from, and I don’t always have the same amount of information as I used to with our WordPress site. That makes it harder to look up their session and see what went wrong.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem is finding out what went wrong for a customer. So if they're stuck or something isn't loading correctly, I'm able to use the session replays to look back and what happened and for the most part able to diagnose and issue and help resolve it.

Although the increased payment itself was understandable, the lack of advance notification was not ideal. I strongly feel that Lucky Orange should send an additional email notification and explanation before implementing such changes automatically.

I have been using Lucky Orange for a month to track my website, primarily to observe customer behavior as they enter the site. I find setting up the software incredibly easy, as it only takes a minute, which is very convenient. I particularly appreciate the powerful video recording feature that allows me to analyze customer behavior in-depth, enabling me to make necessary adjustments to my website to improve its conversion rate. This feature is one of my favorites on the platform and is a key reason I would choose to purchase and use Lucky Orange again in the future. Additionally, I believe Lucky Orange provides better data and more comprehensive video recordings compared to other tools such as Microsoft Clarity, which, although free, does not perform as well. Despite being new to Lucky Orange and still learning its capabilities, I can confidently give it a high recommendation with a score of 10.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

We are super excited about tracking individual website visitor behaviors. It is easy to see what pages users are visiting and getting stuck on. The software is super intuitive, easy to use, and easy to setup. Checking the heat maps to see where users click or scroll to is great to changing our website pages. Adding a chat feature to the website is great, especially with so many automations to create.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

I am struggling with creating custom events but am in touch with the support team! I wish I could create a form in the pop-up where users could input their email to go to their profile. I wish I could connect this to Brevo and/or Meta too.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Google Analytics, we were able to see what "all" users were doing on the website but could not see what "every" user was doing. Lucky Orange is allowing us to dive into each visit to see where our website needs to improve.

The heat map tracking is the reason we signed up for the tool – and what we like best. It helps us make real-time decisions about how users are interacting with our website, what they're clicking, and (even more importantly) what they're not clicking.

Hitting session limits is frustrating, particularly because we're not a large or enterprise level site, so it seems like for what we pay, we should be able to gather more data each month.

Before, we knew how many people visited our website (Google Analytics) and whether they completed a goal (schedule service). But we had no idea how they behaved while using our website, where they spent most of their time, or what features were most compelling to them.

I appreciate using Lucky Orange for its ability to help with customers solving questions and converting sales. I like that it offers features needed to improve our page and supports conversions. The calling feature or booking a meeting stands out, although it requires going to a different window to call. Lucky Orange's setup was very easy, which I found convenient.

I love the live chat feature too—it lets me proactively engage with users in real-time. The dashboard is intuitive, and I was able to get meaningful insights within minutes of setting it up.

**What do you like best about Lucky Orange?**

Lucky Orange provides one of the best session recording software, I've ever tried. It's incredibly easy to implement since you don't need to know any coding skills, it's simply a matter of pressing a few buttons here and there then you have access to customer insights such as session recordings, where the customer spent the majority of their time on the website, where the customer was clicking on the page etc. I use lucky orange every day to look for any possible tweaks and problems that I could deal with to make my customer's experience more smooth and increase the likelihood of conversion. Integrating the app with shopify was a walk in the park. The customer Support was also incredibly helpful if I had any issues with the app. All in all, Lucky Orange gives me more control over my data and allows me better insights as to how my customers interact with my store.

**What do you dislike about Lucky Orange?**

Lucky Orange is a bit pricey even for beginners who arguably need feedback/ customer insights the most given they still need to test and provide a proof of concept for their idea.

**What problems is Lucky Orange solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was always unsure of how my customers interacted with my website, I needed to know where they were spending the majority of their time and whether or not I could improve that experience. So Lucky Orange was incredibly helpful in ensuring that my customers were spending the right amount of time in the places that I wanted them to spend the most amount of time in. Consequently, this led to insights that I would likely have never had.

I have had issues with bots in the past. Lucky orange has helped me to identify them and it also assisted me with fixing issues on my website with the session recording abilities that it has so that I can  make the changes to my site; ultimately improving my clients overall experience.

Not much to say. I have noticed that the session may not load during some sessions. However, I do have other apps that may be the cause of this, as it redirects most locations.

It is solving the issues that I had with understanding the ease of use for my site and it has assisted in prolonging my sessions for key sales.
