What do you like best about Looker?

What I love about Looker is how easy it makes data visualization feel, even for non-technical users. The interface is intuitive, and the way it connects directly to live databases without moving data around is a big win. I also appreciate how LookML lets us define reusable data logic once and then share it across teams. It’s become my go-to tool when I need to create clean, insightful dashboards without writing a bunch of SQL each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Looker?

While Looker is powerful, I’ve found that the learning curve for LookML can be a bit steep in the beginning-especially for team members who don’t have much technical experience. Also, the pricing might be a bit high for startups or smaller businesses. Some advanced features could use more documentation or easier implementation support. Looker helps solve the problem of scattered, hard-to-access data across different teams and tools. Before using it, we relied heavily on manual reporting and inconsistent spreadsheets, which made it tough to get a unified view of performance. With Looker, we’ve centralized our data analysis, automated reporting, and made real-time insights accessible to both technical and non-technical users.
