Lokalise allowed us to do just that. In addition, it made it possible for us to share the responsibility of managing translations with our product team and clients. Being a small start-up, our time is very valuable, and as developers, we saved a lot of time from translating and manually updating translation files. In addition, if a translation in production needs to be modified, we can just do it on Lokalise, without having to redeploy in production just for a translation. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** We had to build our own system of webhooks so that when a translation would be updated in Lokalise, it would be updated in our app. This took quite some time, it would be nice if Lokalise provided some example or tool to make this better, to sync branches with environments, etc. The webhooks connection with Lokalise also often breaks often on their end for no apparent reason. I think I already got 5-10x value from the instant typo corrections without needing to update my apps. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** Sounds a bit silly but too many options, sometimes I get confused but I always find a swift response from the support. It also probably stops designers breaking app builds but change keys on production. **Recommendations to others considering Lokalise:** It's a simple platform with a lot of flexibility that covers a wide variety of localisation use cases. For a platform where a lot of communication between translators and the client occurs - the Comments/Chat section is very limited at the moment. I wish it supported rich formatting (like bold text) or at least be able to break sentences into different paragraphs. Also, when managing 10+ languages and 10 translators need to reply in a single section - I wish there was a way to filter by language/translator rather than getting responses from all translators mix together. 2. I wish the Pricing Plans were more Startup friendly. The Pay-as-you-go model with more Growth options would be awesome. Where you start from say 200 hosted keys, and 1 project, and then pay for more resources when you scale (more hosted keys, more projects limit, etc) rather than paying for unlockning useful Features. So that no matter which plan you get, you can access all features right away, that will make your work a breathe - like glossary, translation memory, etc. And then when you need another +100/200/500 hosted keys, or one more project, you bump your plan by X$ a month. But neither stops me from using this great tool. This is what I wish was improved going forward. **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Efficient translation management of more than 10 languages at a time. Great visibility of all the translations across projects. Quick & Easy to export and implement keys into the app. ### 38. Very straightforward, clean, and accessible to spot. Contrast and highlight show an outstanding balance on the screen—simple accessibility for all levels, even for first-timer. The project owner takes complete control thru its accessible settings and configurations. **What do you dislike about Lokalise?** Only two negatives from my perspective, the project chat takes forever to scroll up and down to read, and Lokalise in-app support chat can be annoying when it's overlapped with the project chat, and it doesn't go away even if you close the chat. And if you happen to click on Project Chat, you'll probably mis-click on the support chat, then there will be two chats on the same spot which can be really annoying. **Recommendations to others considering Lokalise:** Lokalise is a great collaboration platform for the localization project. No technical skill required to move all over the page. Instant support chat response is prompt and clear, great human support is absolutely the highlight. Overall performance is good and browser compatibility must have been tested and tuned fine. **What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lokalise has a fantastic filter feature, when a global check/change is required, the job is done efficiently. The roles, files, task, QA, review ... etc are all trackable precisely. Machine Translation quality is outstanding, in-app Tips are very useful when getting into else where and lost.
