"Sleek Design with Developer-Friendly Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I really like Linear's sleek and nice UI, which is a step above other alternatives for organizing and making sense of our plans. Its integrations with GitHub and other platforms are very developer friendly. I find the AI features particularly useful for triaging external requests and scanning through hundreds or thousands of existing tickets. The keyboard shortcuts and command palette are very nice features that make navigation easier. There are so many little moments in its design where I wonder if I can do something new, and it just works perfectly. For example, writing up a plan in a project description and turning it into tickets felt intuitive and worked perfectly the first time I tried it. It's very thoroughly considered and carefully designed, and I feel that makes Linear stand out. It's also noteworthy how transparent and easy it is to share the single source of truth across teams, and it makes things easy for developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

I'm concerned that it is becoming an enterprise tool which could make it very bloated and slow. We've seen very small examples of this, but I'm just slightly afraid that it could become Jira one day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean and Fast Issue Tracking, but Limited Reporting and Customization"
3/5
What do you like best about Linear?

Linear is very easy to use, with a clean, fast interface that makes issue tracking simple and efficient. Setup was quick, and the workflow feels intuitive even for new users. I use it often to manage tickets, track bugs, and organize development tasks without friction. It also integrates smoothly with tools like GitHub and Slack, which helps keep our development workflow connected and running efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

While Linear is great for its simplicity and speed, it can feel a little too minimal if you need advanced reporting or highly customizable workflows. Some areas, like analytics and deeper automation, could be improved. It’s an excellent fit for engineering teams, but non-technical teams may need a bit of time to get comfortable with the interface. "Seamless Linear–Intercom Linking for Clearer Progress Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I really like the way that I can link Linear tickets to tickets in our Intercom system, so that we can track progress in Linear within Intercom and keep a coherent list of customers affected by issues/requesting features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

It was a little confusing at first, but that was probably just because I was used to a different system (Asana) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Insightful Linear Integration with Smart Auto-Tagging"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

It is easy to use and the the insights are easy to build in Linear. The customer is auto tagged in linear showcasing the potential duplicate ones are awesome. The triage feature is also something I like and export of the tickets to external platform and ease to integrate to external platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

The dashboard-building features feel limited. I’d like the ability to create custom views and dashboards similar to Jira, where we can use JQL to build and filter what we see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Design With Seamless Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I use Linear for software development, tracking tickets through all of their states and assignees, and maintaining agile cycles on a sprint board. I find it very helpful for planning software features and projects as tickets are easily visualized in their clean UI. I like the simplicity and responsiveness of the desktop application, and it's simpler to use and understand than many comparable tools I've used. It's also integrated with GitHub to track the state of tickets through development, and with Notion to help maintain any documentation on specific features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ruthlessly Fast Issue Tracking That Respects Your Time"
4/5
What do you like best about Linear?

It’s fast and frictionless — everything happens instantly, which makes teams more likely to actually keep work updated. The keyboard-first design makes moving through issues feel natural and efficient. The workflows are simple but thoughtfully structured, helping teams stay organized without overcomplicating things. The clean, minimal UI keeps the focus on the work. Overall, it feels like a tool built by people who really understand how software teams operate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

It’s also very engineering-first. PMs and devs usually love it, but designers, ops, or execs may struggle to find a simple, high-level view that doesn’t require learning the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
