"Effortless Task Management but Lacks Personalization"
4/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I use Linear for development task organization and project completion. It really helps by showing the status of all development tasks and allows us to add priority for each task, add comments, and lets the entire team see the progress of company-wide projects. I like that Linear is a simple organization tool that doesn't overcomplicate work. Other systems have too many bells and whistles that confuse everyone, but with this tool, I've seen more completion of tasks and correct status handling. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

Linear is not as well designed for organizing personal tasks or setting specific status triggers to bring someone new into the project. It would be helpful to have personal dashboards so that everyone does not need to be bothered with all tasks company-wide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect Integrations and Impeccable UI, Some Frictions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I like that Linear integrates with several tools like GitHub and Slack. These integrations bring productivity and visibility gains. The integration with GitHub allows for directly linking technical work to tickets, improving tracking and reducing the time spent synchronizing tools. The one with Slack ensures that the right people are informed at the right time without additional effort. Linear's UI is very intuitive, easy to use, fast, and interactive, which reduces daily friction and allows more time to be spent on priorities. I also like the design. The initial setup of Linear was quite simple and pleasant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

The creation of subtasks as Linear tickets is laborious depending on the text format used, as some formats make this option unavailable. This is inconvenient because it forces us to give less visibility to these elements when creating a project, but it is a low-intensity friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Project Management with Linear's Intuitive Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

Linear’s interface is exceptionally intuitive and lightning-fast. The responsiveness makes navigating the app feel effortless, while the well-organized layout significantly streamlines the user journey between tasks. I’m particularly impressed by the command-k functionality and the comprehensive keyboard shortcuts, which allow for a true "flow state." The aesthetic is clean and distraction-free, which has noticeably boosted my efficiency. Plus, the free plan is remarkably generous for the level of quality provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

I’d like to see the AI evolve to provide more "connective tissue" across my work. Rather than just offering various views, the platform could be more proactive by surfacing project insights and suggesting automations as I progress. A more intelligent, user-friendly way to surface relevant data—rather than overwhelming the user with every possible view—would take the experience to the next level. "Surfaces Hidden Details with Ease"
4/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I like how it surfaces relevant details that tend to stay hidden when using more “traditional” processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

I don’t think there’s anything I dislike about it. If I had to point to one drawback, it’s that it depends on the team keeping it up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keyboard-First Interface Revolutionizes My Design Workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I love Linear's keyboard-first design; it's not just a shortcut, it's a mindset. I can create, prioritize, and move tasks with a few keystrokes, which keeps my flow intact during deep work. The clean, distraction-free interface also stands out: no flashy widgets or cluttered menus, just what I need to stay focused. Plus, custom views let me toggle between 'Client Projects,' 'Design Sprints,' or 'Bug Fixes' in seconds. The ability to create a task, assign it, set a due date, or move it to another project all with a few keystrokes means I never have to grab my mouse. It's like typing a to-do list, but way smarter. And custom views have been a game changer for me. I set up separate views for each client or project, like 'Client A – Design Phase' or 'Bug Fixes – This Week.' When I switch clients, I just hit a shortcut and poof, my whole board changes to match what I need right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

- No built-in design file previews - Limited visual boards - No native time tracking Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Linear?

I use Linear for keeping track of projects and really appreciate its nice natural flow for feature implementation. What I like most is that Linear is the only project management tool I've tried this year that I actually want to use. The UI is great; it's clean and small, making it appealing and easy to navigate. The initial setup was really easy for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
