"Easy to Navigate and Integrates Well with Claude, Boosting Team Productivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

that's extensively used by the product teams and easy to navigate/use for us in Customer Success. It also integrates well with Claude and other tools, improving productivity for our company Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

at this point I don't see smart AI features as part of their offering in terms of speeding up process and support outcomes, it often requires manual imput Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Responsive, and Easy to Share—Great GitHub Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I love how fast and responsive it is. I also love how easy it is to find the fields that I need, and share links with the team. Big fan of the github integration too. Also like the MCP servers we can hook up to it and triage for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

I do wish it had an easier way to break projects into phases. Like product lead, then design lead, then engineering lead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredible UI/UX Attention to Detail with Smart QOL Touches"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

The level of attention to detail, especially around the app’s UI/UX, is insane. As a software engineer, I really appreciate how easy it is to copy a branch name directly from a ticket—it’s such a nice touch, and a QOL boost for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

More “global” roadmap views have historically been challenging for me to use because of how much scrolling I naturally have to do. I wish there were a way to view everything without needing to scroll left to right so much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"More Than an Issue Tracker—The Central Hub for Product Delivery"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

It's more than an issue tracker. It's the central piece that help us build our product and iterate over it. Especially now with AI, it's a center piece to all our product & tech delivery processes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

I can't think of anything right now. There might be a few UX features that I wish we could have to better fit our workflows, but it's really minor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Great UI/UX, and Powerful Integrations (Slack AI Is Crazy)"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

Easiness to use, UI/UX, integrations with other softwares (Slack AI is crazy) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

Nothing specifically, but opportunities to improve:

- Team management (kind of a tool to monitor team activity and performance)

- AI Agents to improve tasks / descriptions (many tasks in our team lack of context/details to be executed and we realise on sprints) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Project Management with Developer-Friendly Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

It's super developer friendly, no weird menus, very flexible, excelent shortcuts, AI MCP works great, integrates with Github flawlessly, and Linear AI helps a lot on getting a quick overview or project metrics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

Still falls short on automations, we have been complementing it with AI workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Automation with Top-Quality Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

Linear is incredibly easy to use and the quality of the product is outstanding. It actually makes product management enjoyable. The issue and project management features are really high quality. Also, the automations are great. It keeps teams organized, allows us to monitor velocity, and automates common engineering maintenance tasks. The initial setup was very easy, and I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to a friend or colleague. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

4.5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

What I like best about Linear is its speed — both as a product and as a workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

The guest/external collaborator model is too restrictive for teams working with contractors or client stakeholders. Reporting and analytics feel underpowered for any meaningful leadership visibility. There's no native docs layer, so you're always stitching Linear to Notion for specs and PRDs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Value for Ticketing: Flexible Views, Fast Prioritization, and GitHub/Slack Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I like the ability to set up different views based on ticket types. We have two main boards: the main ticket board and our bug board. Having engineers jump in and quickly pick up the highest-priority items is really impactful. We also have it fully integrated with our GitHub and Slack, so we can create tickets that get reported in customer channels as well. We’re working on getting more of this to be automatic, with a fully custom workflow on our side to generate plans and have AI automatically execute on customer tickets. The real-time and quick updates and the collaborative nature of the text boxes are also super important. For the price, there is no better tool and i wouldnt even consider Jira anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

I don’t like that there aren’t custom fields, although we can kind of work around it by using custom labels. Still, I really wish we could set custom dropdown options beyond just the status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Project Management with Customizable Features"
4/5
What do you like best about Linear?

I like that Linear is very easy and convenient to use. Everything in Linear is customizable, and I can create new issues and have access to create multiple ones. I really love the AI feature that Linear provides, as it is really helpful for clarifying and describing the progress of a current project. The integration with Slack is also very convenient; I can easily add or manage tasks from Slack without needing to go to the Linear application. This makes task management flow smoothly within our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Linear?

Okay. So some of the things which I don't like about Linear is that initially, when I started to use Linear, I found it a bit confusing. The layout was a bit confusing at the beginning. After a few weeks, I got used to Linear and figured things out. Also, when I try to assign any issue to some of my friends, the issues also come under my issues. I find it difficult to filter out my own issues which I created for myself only and also to differentiate the issues which I created for someone else. So these are some areas which Linear can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
