"Used for daily case management at a non-profit"

What do you like best?

Once you figured out how, your interface was customizable with font size, what to show on the screen and where. I liked that I could send an e-mail to the case file and it would copy that e-mail to the case file rather than me having to copy and paste it in.

What do you dislike?

This application is not user friendly. The search system required exact spelling of clients name to have it appear. Layout was not always apparent and provided some problems. The application would go down pretty often and would cause a delay in work. Documents could only be uploaded one at a time and would cause the site to crash or freeze a lot.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's free, so it provided us, a non-profit, a secure platform to manage our cases in. We were able to log our time spent on the case and upload documents or notes related to the case. Helped the agency go paperless.

"I'm a Fan"

What do you like best?

As a LegalServer administrator, I like the documentation on the Help tab and the virtual training sessions that are offered regularly. I often direct my interns to these resources to help them learn the administrative side and the user side of LegalServer.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the new development. But this is a good problem.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

LegalServer is a robust and flexible case management system. We use it to track our case work, client information, time records, grants, outcomes, and more.

"Comprehensive Software"

What do you like best?

This software is very comprehensive and has a lot of great features. Very good trainings and customer service.

What do you dislike?

It takes a LOT of work to set it up. Not intuitive at all.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It offers good case management.

LegalServer does take time and effort to set up. However, the result is a system that is configured to the precise nature by which the organization needs to operate. During set up LegalServer assigns an Onboarding Specialist who acts as the project manager to help guide the work needed for configuration, teaching you the intricacies of how the system works along the way so that you can then control changing, modifying and enhancing the site once live. The end result is significantly enhanced usability and having a system that adds value to your work instead of just being another case management system.

"Broad legal organization capacity"

What do you like best?

Timekeeping can be done a variety of ways and exports to a spreadsheet for fee petitions

What do you dislike?

Can be hard to edit things after the fact. Some of the interfaces (like referrals) are confusing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a service to organize clients, keep time, and assist with grant management. The program helps organize funding sources to each client.
