The AI-powered meeting assistant is helpful automatically recording, transcribing, and summarising my calls (with action items and structured summaries), all without needing bots. I also love the AI summaries and task lists, which are genuinely helpful. There’s a strong emphasis on on-device processing and privacy, everything runs locally unless you opt for cloud storage. Plus, Krisp integrates smoothly with Zoom, Teams, Meet, Slack, Tuple and Hangouts, etc. **What do you dislike about Krisp?** The voice detection/dictionary (custom vocabulary) can be a bit odd, sometimes it groups multiple words under the same association and doesn’t allow correction for both, which frustrated me. Sometimes I've noticed extreme noise suppression can make voices sound slightly robotic or clipped and if you leave it running for a long time the app can sometimes cause CPU spikes, use up excess RAM or auto-disable unexpectedly. **What problems is Krisp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Krisp solves the constant challenge of background noise and distraction during calls. When I use Slack for my calls or record my voice in some messenger, all recordings then appear in the list of calls. I find that my list is so long, and it's hard to understand where exactly the important calls are. Krisp recorded everything, even small talks and also recorded, for example, my voice that I talked to ChatGPT. It is not really clear for me how that happened, and it is an area for improvement and maybe a better setup for what exactly to record. Krisp records the call, ZAPIER is the API which takes the text from Krisp to Blueflame, an enterprise AI tool which gives me a beautiful summary.
