What do you like best about Novara Flex?

My favorite thing about Novara Flex is how much time it saves by keeping everything in one place, making it easier to track, manage, and follow up on what needs to get done. I use Flex daily, even on the weekends (when I have to!). I have the website saved on my phone like an app, and it’s still easy to use on a mobile device. I’ve literally been in the middle of the ocean on a cruise, taking care of things on my phone as ideas came to me.

The software is fully customizable, and even though I’ve been using Flex for 7 years, I’m still learning new things. Their customer support is top notch, and they also have the Novara Connect site that allows top admins to connect and share ideas and experiences.

Implementation and integration with our company was simple, and the continued support from Novara has been amazing. If you get Dale Golgart as your sales rep, you’re in good hands. He never forgets who you are, and he doesn’t complete the sale and move on. If you need anything, he still has your back and will make sure you get taken care of. What do you dislike about Novara Flex?

Some features that I would think would be there are not. One thing that I would love it to be able to set quick links on the homepage of the app and on the website for company or personal, similar to the dashboard. For instance, the JSA is the most common form that we use. It would be awesome to be able to have a button on the app just to quick link that form. "KPA Review"

What do you like best about Novara Flex?

I'd say that the best feature of KPA EHS is that you can easily report off submitted forms. We have various scheduled reports that send out automatically to higher-level management without us having to lift a finger. What do you dislike about Novara Flex?

There isn't much that I dislike about KPA, but every system has its flaws. I wish we could have more reporting on the companies and projects within the software. We can now filter down reports and see what specific companies or projects are selected. However, it would be beneficial if those companies and projects had a unique profile to see everything they are tagged in or put in additional information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Novara Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?

The two biggest problems that KPA solves for us are eliminating paper usage and supporting a safety culture. We can quickly and easily tell what happened at a Jobsite just by viewing the email automatically sent to us when a report is submitted. We no longer have to send multiple emails and reach out for information because it's accessible at all times. We also can't lose paper copies of our forms because they are all stored in the system! "KPA Flex truly is a flexible Safety Management Suite"

What do you like best about Novara Flex?

Everything in KPA is based on user created forms with custom workflows for verifications and adding tasks. We have a multi agency corporation and each has its own unique way of doing business. With KPA we can create a corporate process while allow local facility administrators customize the forms they use. Because of its flexibility they system can be used by anybody to complete forms and the system can be used for any program we want the tools to service. Lastly, the LMS platform is ideal for safety training distribution as anybody can access these trainings regardless of what other computer platforms they use. This was a real problem for us as several of our subsidiaries cannot access other corporate services due to system conflicts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Novara Flex?

The widget dashboard items are less customizable than I would like. For example, tables and graphs select the colors and appearance without any ability to customize the look or feel. You can't get a single report with data from different forms or subforms, and widgets internally are often limited to data from a single source in the system. It would be helpful to have a more robust reporting system where forms could use a key field to link data from multiple forms and export reports, or construct graphs from data that crosses data sources. Each user is also limited to one dashboard. This is ok for most users, but as an admin having lots of widgets for the dashboard take a long time to load. So, widgets have to be turned off an on in the dashboard to look at different things. It would be helpful if you could configure multiple dashboards and switch between them easily. "Why I always use KPA"

What do you like best about Novara Flex?

This is my 2nd company I brought KPA into. The first one, I was the first safety professional in a cannabis company. When I started I only had 40 employees and 1 location to deal with. I less than1 year I was up to 7 productions sites 35 retail and over 1500 employees, over 7 states. There was no way I could have run a safety program by using Google Products. So I brought in KPA.

I then moved over to a construction company, and brought in KPA for there. It saved my company over $75000 in different software they were using for training and other stuff. Plus it everything I need is in one place.

Because most of my employees knew nothing about using a computer this made it easier for them to do training and other audits. I have now rolled out the program to include good catches, near misses , safe and unsafe acts.

The software made it easy to make up the forms that i needed. You don't need programing skills to do it your self. If you cannot figure how to make the form you want, customer service, will help you.

What do you dislike about Novara Flex?

I am not finding anything wrong with the software. When I need something that the software does not do KPA will make it happen. This make my job way easier and I am able to keep a huge database and recordkeeping files all in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Novara Flex?

What problems is Novara Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use KPA for everything from safety observations to incident reports. But it does so much more than just safety. We also use it to aid in tracking the on boarding/off boarding of employees. We use it to distribute our Safety orientation to all of our contractors. We even use it for all of our computer based training. Gone are the days of trying to track incidents on massive spreadsheets. What do you like best about Novara Flex?

As an admin on the user side of the system, KPA Flex allows for more customization and creation of company specific trainings, forms, equipment, inspections, etc. The support from our Client Success Manager not only teaches us how to use more features in the system, but quickly addresses any concerns we may have. We have converted many of our paper or informal processes like training, OSHA reporting, environmental reporting, investigations, inspections, and corrective action tracking to a digital platform in KPA. What do you like best about Novara Flex?

It's easy to customize features and has great dataload validation which has saved me on multiple occasions. It's easy to set up notifications and training. What do you dislike about Novara Flex?

Building forms from scratch can be difficult. It lacks intuitive design. The tooltips and labels are vague and difficult to understand for a new user which wastes time with testing what that switch actually changed vs what you wanted to change. Training on the platform is basic and doesn't dive deeply into advanced settings. If I could suggest 1 major improvement it would be streamlined API connections for automation with other software or an API integration assistance team from KPA.
