I love how snappy Novara Flex is to use as a system administrator, with low load times and a user-friendly interface that makes quickly building new forms and workflows easy. Its API is great for doing reports in PowerBI. It also helps us by being a digital database for all of our responses, which we can use for reporting and for noticing trends. As an admin on the user side of the system, KPA Flex allows for more customization and creation of company specific trainings, forms, equipment, inspections, etc. The support from our Client Success Manager not only teaches us how to use more features in the system, but quickly addresses any concerns we may have. My favorite thing about Novara Flex is how much time it saves by keeping everything in one place, making it easier to track, manage, and follow up on what needs to get done. I use Flex daily, even on the weekends (when I have to!). I have the website saved on my phone like an app, and it’s still easy to use on a mobile device. I’ve literally been in the middle of the ocean on a cruise, taking care of things on my phone as ideas came to me.

The software is fully customizable, and even though I’ve been using Flex for 7 years, I’m still learning new things. Their customer support is top notch, and they also have the Novara Connect site that allows top admins to connect and share ideas and experiences.

Implementation and integration with our company was simple, and the continued support from Novara has been amazing. If you get Dale Golgart as your sales rep, you’re in good hands. He never forgets who you are, and he doesn’t complete the sale and move on. If you need anything, he still has your back and will make sure you get taken care of. Some features that I would think would be there are not. One thing that I would love it to be able to set quick links on the homepage of the app and on the website for company or personal, similar to the dashboard. For instance, the JSA is the most common form that we use. It would be awesome to be able to have a button on the app just to quick link that form. I find how user friendly and customizable it is. The more I use the program, the more uses my company has found for it. It is something that is used everyday across our entire company and it relatively easy to implement with project managers, foreman's, and superintendents. The response time of customer support is unmatched. If I ever come across an issue, I normally have an answer by the end of the day. I like the transparency in Novara Flex because I can look up any form or response I need to ensure my workers are compliant and safe. Assigning tasks is straightforward, and it boosts productivity. As a safety manager, I can see what people are doing on the job site, the tasks they have been assigned, and whether they understand what they're filling out. Senior management can also see what's going on, which helps with compliance during audits for our safety management program. I also appreciate the contractor management tool, as it ensures people we hire have their own safety protocols and facilitates communication of our safety system and policies. The compliance calendar helps schedule events and tasks for on-site personnel. I love the workflows for increasing transparency and ensuring notifications reach the right people when forms like incident forms are filled out. It's a reliable nine-step process. I find the speed of Novara Flex slower since its change from KPA. There are issues with having to wait for the app to update. The way some features load, I sometimes have to reload the page multiple times for it to work properly, which is becoming very annoying. I hope they get the coding issues fixed soon because it is becoming very cumbersome. The training modlue has also not been responding or performing as well as it did under KPA and I hope that the bacground coding that needs to happen does so soon Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Novara Flex is its flexibility and its ability to bring multiple operational needs into a single platform. We use it to manage training, forms, documentation, employee records, and field workflows across a large, geographically dispersed workforce. The platform is configurable enough to support different departments and use cases without forcing every process into the same rigid structure.

It’s also fairly easy for frontline employees to access and complete assigned training or forms. From an administrative perspective, Flex has helped us consolidate content and gain better visibility into completion records, submissions, and compliance-related activities.
