We have Saas type service, cross-platform like web, two apps for iOS and Android. KM is the best solution for user-base tracking for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Kissmetrics? It's not always bad point, but since KM is not like Google Analytics, we have to plan, design what/how to track. The reporting capabilities of Kissmetrics is better than most of the other tools out there. Adding conditions and filters couldn't be easier and the reports that are generated are very thorough and straightforward. Kissmetrics has many different report types for varying business needs and that will you analyze user data the way you need to look at it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Kissmetrics? There's not much to dislike about Kissmetrics but if I had to choose one thing, it's the lack of the automatic event tracking that some of the other tools have. Recommendations to others considering Kissmetrics: Kissmetrics is a great engagement analytics platform that requires a bit of onboarding to think of every event that you need to track on your site and/or app. Sometimes events can slip through the cracks and adding that event doesn't retroactively pull data like some other tools. We were trying to figure out how users were engaging with our site and see which cohorts tend to stay subscribed longer based on the actions they have taken over periods of time. In the world of software, you always strive to be sticky. You want your customers to dread a world without your product. This is how I feel about KISSmetrics. I don't even want to imagine a world without it. There are 2 things that KISS is good at as a company: 1. Harvesting and slicing data 2. Supporting their customers KISS has multiple report types for a variety of business functions, allowing us to analyze and interpret user behavior on both a micro and macro level. KISS also managed to staff their company with subject matter experts that are likable people, and highly skilled. Employees like the Manager of Customer Success Chris Burns and our actual CSM Patrick Sutherland are a huge part of our success with KISS. Their expertise and timeliness are why we use the heck out of it, and progressively report in a more focused manner.
