" 5/5 What do you like best about Kissmetrics? The most difficult thing to do is to use identify the metrics you need. Then it's easy to configure and to use. The engage feature is also very useful as it helped us increase conversion by 750% on some pages. More over the team is super helpful and their webinar are amazing. Definely the best metrics product. I wish it was a bit more drag and drop like. It would be easier if it was integrated with mandrill. I wish one event could be created using several elements, like different URLs so I could have a macro view on conversions funnels as a whole and not only one by one. I love how flexible the reporting structure is -- with so many styles of reports, we can look at the data around just about any way we need to. What do you dislike about Kissmetrics? It took a bit of reading to get up and running as this was my first experience using "people" based analytics. Recommendations to others considering Kissmetrics: At the beginning, we had some issues setting up our trackable "events" and ensuring that they were properly reflected in our reporting. I'm not sure that was really the software's issue, however new users considering the program (or any event-based analytics) should ensure they have the appropriate technical staff to assist them. We needed to track marketing KPIs/events and tie those KPIs back to our actual customers. This has allowed us to experiment with multi-step attribution and to see a more complete picture of our customer's journey. What do you dislike about Kissmetrics? - Sometimes I find difficult when an event has been fired. Event catalog should have more info. - It truly needs an API to access data. The CSV export is not enough. At least, the CSV export should be downloadable programatically, not via web interface + click + email. - A minor detail, but running a report often gets stuck at a 98.3%, for a while.
