"Straightforward, User-Friendly Desk Booking with Great Seating Visibility"
What do you like best about Kadence?

Having visibility of where colleagues are sitting is really helpful, as it makes it easier for us to sit together. I find the overall desk-booking process and interface very straightforward and user-friendly. I also like that you can assign desks to specific people. Changing the floor plan was simple too, and the whole process felt really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

We started using the Kadence agent a few months ago and, in a bold move, have recently disabled manual check-in. A few users ran into a logout bug, which was frustrating because we wanted the experience to be slick and had sold it to the business as a one-time login solution.

On the reporting side, I feel like the reports come out with too many columns. For example, you’ll see time created, start time, and time checked in all at once. There are a lot of timestamps to take in in one hit, and at first I found it hard to understand which one was the source of truth we actually needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Flexible Desk Booking with Excellent Support, with Quality Support and Client Management"
What do you like best about Kadence?

Kadence is reliable, flexible and responsive, and the support team and account management are excellent. We've been using Kadence to manage our desk booking since 2020, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The implementation was quick and professionally handled, and the continuous improvements to the product have made a major asset in the use of our office space. Our staff use it every day, both via the web interface or the app, and the ease with which it integrates with our Microsoft Office estate means that we can access it anywhere. It's a system we've been using since 2021 that enables our business to book desks in our office space, making hybrid/flexible working more efficient and safe for our employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

Making changes to the desk layout can take a little bit of time, but isn't a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Kadence has helped our company return to work safely and efficiently"
What do you like best about Kadence?

Kadence has helped our company safely return to work. We are in the office five days a week and our employees love how easy Kadence is to use and that they can use it from the app on thier phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

If I had to pick one thing, it would be if you are unfamiliar with the building or space and are reserving a desk there for the first time, it may be hard to locate your desk or office. I think a real photo being used as a preview of the space could be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Desk Reservations and Valuable Insights"
What do you like best about Kadence?

I find Kadence really easy to use and customize, especially on the Insights component. I like that it's easy to reserve a desk through the app, website, or Slack, and it's great to see where and when colleagues are in the office. I appreciate the ability to communicate and get RSVPs for in-office and remote activities. Kadence also provides insightful data on how our people use the space and time with one another, which helps us better understand when our teams are in the office. I also liked the Events feature and found it easier to communicate with our employees through Kadence. The initial setup was straightforward, and it integrates well with other tools we use like Google Mail, Calendar, and Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

API Links for Insights has needed to be forced a few times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Desk Booking with Seamless Integrations"
What do you like best about Kadence?

I appreciate that Kadence makes booking desks a visual and simple experience, even with more employees than desks. I love that it's extremely easy to integrate with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Teams, and the fact that you can book a room using natural language within Teams thanks to the handy bot. It's packed with quality of life features that I find really useful. The fact that the initial setup took us barely half an hour and it's easy to define booking policies further adds to my positive impression. Overall, I find Kadence to be a good value for the money, easy to set up, and packed with features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

Modifying a room, which is linked to its Exchange Object, requires submitting a ticket to Kadence support. This could be done better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Office Reservation Process"
What do you like best about Kadence?

I appreciate the ease of administration and ease of use for the end user with Kadence. Our users love the live office view, which helps users see their coworkers' locations and allows admins to easily monitor office activity. It's great that our IT and Ops team can remotely monitor and adjust settings when needed, and our office administrators can make direct adjustments to the office they are supporting. Our users also like the flexibility to make reservations via web, Teams, or mobile app, and this ease of use contributes to decent adoption. The live office view is particularly valued by our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

There tend to be little glitches or anomalies in the software. Recently we had an issue with conference rooms disconnecting and another with recurring bookings in private offices. We hadn't made any changes on our end, but the fixes ultimately were things we could fix on our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortlessly Streamlines Desk Bookings"
What do you like best about Kadence?

I love the ease of use of Kadence. It's so simple to gain full user adoption, and Kadence handles this core requirement effortlessly. The SSO feature allows me to book a desk with just a couple of clicks, which is incredibly convenient. I also find the visualization helpful as it shows who else is in the office and where they are sitting. The initial setup was very easy because the solution is well-documented, and the team is always accessible and ready to assist. Kadence works really well, and everyone seems more than pleased with the core capabilities we were looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

Managing use behavior is more of a challenge for us. Sometimes we see empty desks where plans have changed, but a desk was not canceled. Without a desk available, other colleagues are not coming to the office, so it is a missed opportunity. Also, we probably need a Kadence ambassador to try and take full advantage, the tech can bring opportunities but it is difficult to drive a cultural change simply by delivering the technological capabilities. Outside of that there are a lot of features added, but these are probably more useful to SMEs than large corporates, where other systems are typically in place to handle announcements for example. "Enhancing Operational Efficiency with Kadence's Streamlined Solutions"
What do you like best about Kadence?

Kadence is the simplest desk booking system I have encountered in my 15 years of facilities management. The system's rollout was smooth, and our CX Engagement manager was always available to help when needed. Kadence has delivered valuable data to the Ankura London office through its Insights feature. Utilizing Insights has enabled us to shift away from the dependence on office swipe data as key KPIs, freeing up time to concentrate on our ultimate goal: the data itself. Every interaction with Kadence staff has been friendly, and they always provide a solution, even if it's not exactly what we were expecting for our end goal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

This is more of a user-adoption issue with Kadence itself. We’re finding that a lot of staff aren’t using the platform the way they should, and there isn’t really a way, even when working with Kadence, to require or enforce that users actually use it. It’s something our CX Engagement Manager has mentioned, but Kadence doesn’t seem to want to pursue it as a feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Booking Management with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Kadence?

I find Kadence user-friendly and extremely easy to use from both an employee and admin perspective. I had a great experience during implementation and with support. The Kadence Agent is a great feature, allowing employees to auto-check in with the platform recognizing they are on the company wifi. Our employees can easily book a desk space for when they are in office, and the platform ensures people comply with our on-site policy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kadence?

I wish there was a dedicated reports section, but it is not a dealbreaker. I am able to run reports from the Bookings tab, but in order to see past and future bookings, I need to run two separate reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
