**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Its easy to manage computers and accesses across multiple employees. JumpCloud is a powerful platform I use to centrally manage user identities, devices, and access across my organisation. It simplifies tasks like user provisioning, device management, and enforcing security policies, all from a single dashboard. I find it especially useful for managing both Windows and macOS systems without needing multiple tools. The cloud-based setup makes it easy to scale and manage remotely, which is great for distributed teams. Overall, it streamlines IT operations while maintaining strong security controls.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The pop up when you are logged out can be very disruptive

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to manage user identities, devices, and access to all our systems from one place. It helps control secure logins like SSO and MFA so my team can access the tools they need safely and easily. In a way, it replaces traditional IT setup with a single, centralised system to manage people, devices, and security.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like JumpCloud's simple user experience and user interface. It's easy to use and simple, which makes it great for our needs. It's also very powerful, helping us maintain all of our devices up to date by enforcing an update policy. It integrates well with third-party software, making it easier for us to manage people's access to specific software we need them to have.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Nothing in particular, I think it does what it’s supposed to do in an unobtrusive way.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use JumpCloud for MDM to manage mobile devices and laptops assigned to remote team members, secure them, and view specifications. It serves as a launch portal with streamlined SSO login to different software, integrating easily for seamless access. It's easy to use, keeps devices updated, and enforces policies.

  ### 6. Empowered with JumpCloud

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Unified Identity and Access Management (IAM): This is often cited as the biggest benefit. JumpCloud provides a "single pane of glass" to manage user identities, devices (Mac, Windows, Linux), applications (SAML, LDAP), and networks (RADIUS). This centralization eliminates the need for multiple disparate tools, reducing complexity and administrative overhead.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Complexity of Initial Setup/Migration: While JumpCloud aims for simplicity, migrating from an existing directory service (like Active Directory) or setting up complex configurations (e.g., custom RADIUS, intricate Conditional Access Policies) can be challenging and require significant technical expertise.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes identity, access, and device management onto a single platform. This means your IT team no longer has to juggle multiple tools or systems, which reduces operational complexity and administrative "headaches."

  ### 7. Peace of Mind for Company Asset Security—Even Without a Security Background

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Peace of mind with company assets and security when I am not a security expert.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

A bit overwhelming to take on at first. The set up was not as thorough as I would have hoped.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Device management and inventory logging. Providing me security.

  ### 8. Effortless Setup and Centralized Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud easy to use, which is really important to me. The initial setup was very easy, which helped us remediate some audit findings effectively. I also appreciate the centralized domain management feature that comes with using JumpCloud.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The labeling system (for endpoints) have few options

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps with centralized domain management and is easy to use. The initial setup is very easy, which helped remediate some audit findings.

  ### 9. Effortless User and Device Management with Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud is easy to understand and navigate, with a clean and intuitive UI. I also really like how responsive and helpful the support team is—they respond quickly and provide clear, effective assistance.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

**Software Management could be improved, especially for macOS. The app catalog currently requires using bash scripts for more advanced options, such as enabling automatic app relaunch after an update. It would be helpful to have this as a built-in option instead of relying on scripts.
Additionally, Directory Insights could be enhanced by improving software-related events. Currently, software updates (including driver updates) are detected as software add or remove events. Having a dedicated “software update/change” event would make tracking and auditing much clearer.**

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps address challenges in enforcing consistent security baselines and centralized device management across multiple OS platforms. It allows us to automate endpoint configurations, enforce MDM policies, and maintain compliance through posture checks and device groups. The integration with our firewall posture validation also supports our zero-trust approach. Overall, JumpCloud reduces manual effort in managing user access, policy enforcement, and software compliance — making our endpoint environment more secure and efficient to operate.

The ease of use and how fast it is to work with, plus onboarding and support.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like the ease of use of JumpCloud and its intuitive dashboard. I also value how easy it is to link new devices and integrate new team members.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Mainly, I find that the admin dashboard interface is not intuitive when I want to create users.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud to manage computer access in the company, allowing to block or erase data if a device is lost or someone leaves, ensuring the integrity and security of the data.

  ### 12. Reliable and Scalable

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

As a smaller company managing nearly 50 devices, JumpCloud has been reliable and easy to use. While we haven’t encountered any major issues yet with our employees, it’s reassuring to know support is available if needed. We’re confident the platform will scale with us as our company continues to grow.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

For smaller teams, JumpCloud can feel a bit more complex than necessary at first. Some of the advanced features may take time to learn, but the platform is well-documented and support is available.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As our team grows, managing access to multiple devices and applications can become challenging. JumpCloud’s centralized user and device management makes it easy to control who has access to what, helping prevent security issues and saving time on IT administration.

  ### 13. JumpCloud Makes SSH Key Management and Access Provisioning Effortless at Scale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

This reviewer's identity has been verified by our review moderation team. They have asked not to show their
name, job title, or picture.

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google using a business email account

**Source: Seller invite:** Invitation from a seller or affiliate. This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

What I value most is how JumpCloud handles SSH key management at scale. Before we moved to JumpCloud, managing access to our production Linux fleet was a manual nightmare: copying public keys around and constantly worrying about “orphaned” keys left behind by former employees. Now we can provision and de-provision server access instantly from a single dashboard, which has been a huge time saver for the team. It’s essentially replaced what used to be a complex LDAP/OpenLDAP setup with a much easier workflow, so we can focus on actual engineering work instead of identity plumbing.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

While the core functionality is solid, the reporting tools can feel a bit basic when I’m trying to pull very specific data for an audit. The Admin UI is generally good, but as our server list has grown, searching and filtering through large groups of systems can sometimes feel a little clunky, especially compared to how smooth the rest of the experience is.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefits are really twofold.

Security/Compliance: We can instantly revoke access for offboarded employees across every server, which is essential for meeting our security and compliance audit requirements.

Operational Efficiency: My team no longer wastes time troubleshooting “permission denied” errors or manually syncing keys. This has noticeably reduced the day-to-day to-do list for our DevOps team, so we can focus more on infrastructure scaling instead of ongoing user administration.

  ### 14. Effortless Cross-Platform Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fellipe S. | IT Principal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud makes it easy for a small team like ours to manage Windows, macOS, and Linux from one place. The agent is lightweight and reliable, and even when a device can’t use full MDM, we still get good inventory and can enforce basics like encryption, firewall, and screen lock. Patching is straightforward too, we push updates to a small “vanguard” group first, then roll out broadly. Overall, it does a lot and keeps our fleet in a healthy, compliant state without a ton of overhead. Big shoutout to their support, fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. And the AI chat in the console, which speeds up troubleshooting and “how do I…?” tasks more than I expected.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud’s conditional policies only applies to JumpCloud-managed accounts, which limits what we can do in mixed environments or where identities are primarily in Google Workspace.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before JumpCloud, we had three separate ways to manage Windows, macOS, and Linux, lots of manual patching, inconsistent security baselines, and an inventory that was never quite right, making onboarding/offboarding slow and audits painful. We also spent too much time hand-holding devices for basic fixes and chasing evidence for compliance.

JumpCloud gives us one place to enroll devices fast, enforce the same core controls everywhere (encryption, firewall, screen lock), and keep OS/browsers updated on a simple vanguard → general rollout. The agent (plus MDM where supported) provides accurate hardware/software inventory, so audits are straightforward. Result: stronger security, faster onboarding/offboarding, fewer tickets, and clean compliance evidence.

  ### 15. Effortless Multi-OS Management with Powerful Remote Assist

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Global A. | Men's Housing Director/IT Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

There are many reasons I appreciate this product, but the ability to manage different operating systems from a single platform is especially helpful. I also find the remote assist feature to be excellent. Additionally, the option to use Commands has proven to be extremely useful on several occasions.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

At times, I find the help resources difficult to follow. I do understand, though, that maintaining them so they remain current and user-friendly is truly a Herculean task.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I manage a wide range of devices and operating systems, including phones, Windows 10 and 11, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, and Windows Server. As the sole IT department, I am responsible for keeping everything running smoothly. In addition to my IT duties, I also serve as a housing director and grant administrator. I truly appreciate anything that can help me handle the demands of managing this mid-sized company more efficiently.

  ### 16. Effortless Setup, Comprehensive Cloud Transition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like JumpCloud because it reduces headaches and downtime. Its reporting tools make troubleshooting login issues easy, whether someone's signing on or having trouble. I appreciate how simple it is to pull people from other services like Google and then email them to update their credentials. The ability to remotely manage a computer from anywhere in the world as long as there's internet is a feature I really like. It's been a really easy, clean experience overall.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think the things that could be improved is moving computers that are already tied to Active Directory, such as a Windows laptop. Just an easier process for decoupling them from Active Directory and then tying them to JumpCloud. I also think more product, more software that's available in the JumpCloud platform would be great for pushing out apps to those devices. More and more is being built out, and I like to see that. Just continuing on that development would be great.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for access and device management, and it simplifies my workflow by moving services to the cloud and enabling single sign-on across all devices and services. It's reduced headaches and downtime, allowing easy troubleshooting and remote assistance.

  ### 17. Platform-Agnostic IT: Secure, Configure, and Ship Laptops Anywhere with JumpCloud

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud's "killer feature" is its platform agnosticism, treating Mac and Linux users on par with Windows users. It transforms a chaotic, multi-vendor IT stack into a single, clean dashboard, effectively acting as a "force multiplier" for small teams. It’s the best choice if you want to ship a laptop anywhere in the world and have it fully secured and configured without ever physically touching the device.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Its primary drawbacks are feature shallowness compared to specialized tools, such as the lack of deep macOS controls in Jamf or the advanced identity governance in Okta.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud solves the problem of fragmented IT by consolidating identity, device management, and security into a single cloud-native platform.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like using JumpCloud for its simplicity in account management compared to other MDM solutions I've used. The admin side is organized sensibly and isn't bogged down by complexity. It's really easy to create new user accounts and grant necessary permissions. The interface is extremely simple to understand, making training new hires a breeze. I also appreciate how it helps keep our computers managed, secures our data, and provides remote support options and insight into computer details when needed.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I would like to see a little more support and documentation easily available for deploying JumpCloud to new devices.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for managing devices across different platforms, securing data, offering remote support, and gaining insights into computers.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

As an IT admin using JumpCloud, I’ve found it incredibly efficient for managing users and devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux from one place. The built-in MFA, conditional access, and Zero Trust features greatly strengthen our security. Integrations with tools like Google Workspace and M365 make user access seamless, and onboarding/offboarding is quick and automated saving us a lot of manual work. It’s really streamlined our IT operations. Btw it was very easy to implement this in to our organisation and we use this application on a daily bases.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

While JumpCloud is powerful, it can have a steep learning curve for new admins. Some advanced features lack customization, and real-time device status updates can occasionally lag. The UI, though clean, could be more intuitive in certain areas. Also, support response times can vary depending on the issue's urgency.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud has solved several key challenges for us, especially around centralized identity and device management. Previously, we relied on multiple tools to manage user access, enforce security, and support remote devices. With JumpCloud, everything is unified user provisioning, MFA, device policies, and access controls are all handled from a single platform. It has replaced our dependency on traditional on prem Active Directory and made remote work much easier to support. The ability to manage Windows, macOS, and Linux devices in one place is a huge benefit. It’s also improved our security posture with Zero Trust principles and reduced manual overhead significantly.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I really appreciate that JumpCloud is platform agnostic, working smoothly across Mac, Windows, and Linux as well as cloud resources. The centralized control and visibility make managing users and devices much simpler for IT teams. I love the built-in security approach, specifically MFA and ZTP, which isn't just bolted on. It scales well with organizational growth without adding unnecessary complexity. I personally like MFA and the security aspects of the devices. Additionally, JumpCloud offers many options that were not available with Jamf, and it's very cost-effective for our organization. The initial setup was quick, and I'd rate it a 9 out of 10, even if I was a bit slow in grasping it.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

There is some integration within MacBook that I would like to be more in-depth, like the automations and options available for Windows.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud resolves onboarding and offboarding challenges by automating access management across programs. It saves time by handling permissions and managing inventory, including computers and software upgrades, efficiently.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find the ease of onboarding for new devices with JumpCloud to be surprising and seamless, integrating smoothly into our IT runbook for company-owned devices. JumpCloud offers a trustworthy tool for our IT team, allowing us to view and manage company inventory efficiently. I also value the ability to set device policies remotely and troubleshoot device issues with the remote assist feature.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think the JumpCloud agent setup for macOS is okay but we had to roll back our devices using macOS Tahoe in order to install the agent due to an issue with granting Full Disk Access during install. This issue affected our workflow by lengthening the amount of time it took IT to manually set up JumpCloud on new macOS devices that ship from the factory with Tahoe 26.2 installed. Very easy aside from some manual workarounds setting up JumpCloud for macOS devices that were running Tahoe 26.2.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps our IT team troubleshoot devices for remote workers and allows smooth onboarding and tracking of company-owned devices. It enables device policy setting and remote assistance, crucial for a remote workforce.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud does a solid job of combining identity, device management, and access control into one cloud-based platform. It’s particularly helpful for organizations that don’t want to maintain a traditional on-prem Active Directory but still need centralized user and device administration. The cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux is a major advantage, and being able to manage policies, SSO, and MFA in one place makes day-to-day administration much simpler. I also appreciate that it integrates with many SaaS applications and can scale fairly easily for distributed or remote teams. Overall, it helps reduce the need to rely on multiple separate tools for identity and device management.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud is a powerful platform, but some areas can feel a bit complex when you’re first getting started, especially around configuring policies, device management, and integrations. Troubleshooting can also take longer than expected at times, since certain settings and logs are spread across different parts of the console rather than being easy to find in one place. The documentation is generally helpful, but I sometimes have to dig to locate very specific configuration details. Pricing can become a consideration as you add more features or users, and it may be a bigger factor for smaller organizations.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud centralizes identity and device management in a cloud-based platform, which is helpful for organizations that prefer not to depend on traditional on-premises directory infrastructure. It lets us manage users, enforce device policies, and control access to systems and SaaS applications from a single interface. That, in turn, strengthens security with features like MFA and conditional access, while also making user lifecycle management easier and more consistent. It’s especially useful for teams with remote or distributed employees, since access and device management can be handled without requiring users to be connected to the corporate network.

  ### 26. Effortless Setup, But SaaS Management Needs Work

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud solves a lot of problems and pain points we faced with our previous active directory services from the cloud. It offers an easier learning curve and is more user-friendly, which makes the platform easy to understand and use. The user interface through the client application is good and it connects directly to the OS, which I think is better. The setup was quite easy, hassle-free, and we even received some onboarding support at the start to help with the setup.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I didn't like the user interface. Also, I could say that your SaaS management is not that good. JumpCloud can only scan the tools which are connected via Microsoft, and we are not able to get all the tools in our organization to perform SaaS management. That is one place where I want JumpCloud to work on.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud makes it easier with its user-friendly platform. It simplifies identity management, SaaS management, SSOs, and MFAs, offering a reliable tool for directory services. The user interface connects directly to the OS, resolving pain points faced with other cloud directory services.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I love that JumpCloud is really easy to use. It's just an easy product to use, especially compared to other device management systems I've tried, making it by far the easiest to navigate. I appreciate how well-put-together it is, with no questioning what each part does. If I need to locate users or device information, everything is right there. Even for tasks I'm not familiar with, like updating API keys, JumpCloud guided me through it easily, which I really enjoyed. I also like how it integrates with Okta, allowing for easier onboarding and offboarding, and making inventory management and system updates straightforward. The insights for laptop replacements are also appreciated.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I believe the insights could definitely use some more specs. I do appreciate that the specs show Windows 10 or 11 or, like, what version of the OS. But I do wish there was more device specs on there.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for device management and inventory tracking. It helps onboard and offboard easily and manage systems effectively. The insights for laptops aid replacements, although more detailed specs would be helpful.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like the groups feature in JumpCloud because it makes managing access intuitive. The commands are great; they run flawlessly across the fleet of laptops we have. We use the reporting a lot; it's awesome. Reporting gives us what we need in a very compact format and yet allows us to pull detail when necessary. It's great for visibility and compliance, as well as details, and it's easy to use. The setup seemed to be pretty easy, and for the most part, JumpCloud walks us through the process pretty well.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I would like JumpCloud to be more robust on the local computer side. A lot of the time is spent trying to get the computers reporting again or they pop up saying they need review, and I find I have to reinstall JumpCloud. Sometimes users might break JumpCloud in some way, or devices might be in storage so long that JumpCloud no longer trusts them, requiring a rewipe. I'd love a way for JumpCloud to be easier to install beforehand and set aside, ready to send out to users on short notice.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like JumpCloud for its intuitive group management and flawless commands across our laptops. The reporting feature provides compact visibility while allowing detailed insights, which is great for compliance. The ability to write and roll out scripts for specific business requirements has been very beneficial.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I use JumpCloud for managed authentication and appreciate it as a singular management portal for our clients' users, streamlining changes without needing to visit each individual computer. I like its simplicity, particularly in automating the installation process, and it doesn't add bloat to our computers. I think it's a great and simple product, and the initial setup was really easy.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I feel like even with the new UI for their website, it's a bit annoying to have to go to a devices management section, then devices, then devices again just to get to what computers we manage. There's no shortcut for it that makes it easy. I access that page the most. If the user setup can be simplified a little bit, that would help a lot. It seems to have too many fields to fill out. Maybe if it could autofill a username or display name field instead of making you manually do it.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud serves as a singular management portal, making user management efficient by allowing changes without accessing each computer individually. It's simpler and often better than Intune, streamlining processes and saving time.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I appreciate JumpCloud for its smart token renewal process, which ensures that the VPN connectivity is secure. The combination of the user password and auth code provides complete security, making it 100% secure when accessing the company's network. I really like the user interface, which is pretty straightforward and facilitates entering the combination of the code and password, connecting within a few seconds. It also visually indicates the connection status, which is a significant improvement over legacy UIs. The setup was very easy and I'd rate it a nine out of ten. The support from the JumpCloud team was also good.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think it would be better if JumpCloud could send authenticator notifications directly to the phone instead of having to enter information on the keyboard. This would really help in approving notifications quickly.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud provides a fully secure VPN solution without third-party involvement, ensuring 100% security. It smartly renews tokens, enhancing security, and requires both a password and an auth code, making network access more secure.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I enjoy the access control for endpoints the most; the JumpCloud Agent is super comprehensive and allows us to simply bind user groups to machines and device groups and will automatically provision accounts. I also value how it allows us to control computers and access control remotely, enabling full control of a computer straight out of deployment. I would rate it a 9.5 for ease of use and little complications.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I find the Active Directory sync agent a pain to manage. Sometimes it won't provision users without clear indication of why, and the installation of the sync agent is always a hassle. Debugging can take up to an hour, which is time I could spend on other tasks.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for endpoint management and SSO. It helps with access control, software deployment, and IT services like remote connect. The JumpCloud Agent is great for binding user groups to devices and automatically provisioning accounts.

I like that Jump Cloud can remotely wipe laptops and also lock computers when needed. I also appreciate that Jump Cloud works on both MacBooks and Windows devices, which makes it easier to manage different types of computers.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I don’t like that we have to manually migrate laptops into JumpCloud. It would be much better if this process could be handled from the cloud or automated, so we don’t have to do it by hand each time.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jumpcloud has given us a way to manage and control our Windows computers after SCCM became outdated. It also lets us send PowerShell scripts to our laptops, which helps us keep software up to date.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I really like that JumpCloud gives us total management over our entire IT infrastructure. It's a very powerful tool that removes the headache of having local servers. I appreciate the complete control it gives us over all users, people, and machines within our infrastructure. Additionally, the user and device management feature is absolutely the top one for me. The setup was incredibly easy with no problems at all.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I constantly feel that I'm not using as much of the platform as I should be. So I'd really like there to be more onboarding of the different aspects of it to make it easier for small teams to be able to use it. We don't have a big IT team, so easier onboarding of all the different aspects of the platform.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud eliminates the need for on-site servers, allowing us to manage machines remotely, keep an audit log, and check patch levels. It provides us with total management over our entire IT infrastructure, removing the headache of local servers.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like JumpCloud's centralized management and ease of integration. It allows us to manage users, groups, devices, access, and SAML-based SSO from a single platform, greatly simplifying administration. The group-based access control is especially useful as it makes permissions management scalable and secure. I also appreciate the unified login experience across cloud services, internal applications, and domain-joined machines. Additionally, the onboarding and offboarding process is much more efficient, with just a few changes in JumpCloud, access is automatically granted or revoked across all connected systems, reducing manual effort and improving security.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud works well overall for us, but a few areas could be improved. First, the user interface and navigation can sometimes feel slightly complex, especially when managing multiple policies, groups, and device settings. A more streamlined UI would improve efficiency. Also, when it comes to reporting and auditing, although basic logs are available, more advanced and customizable reporting features would be helpful, particularly for compliance and audit requirements.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud provides centralized identity management, secure SSO, SAML authentication, user lifecycle management, and unified device logins. It simplifies administration, reduces configuration errors, automates onboarding and offboarding, strengthens security, and improves operational efficiency by managing everything from one platform.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I appreciate using JumpCloud for handling most of our IdP and MDM tasks, making it simple to manage everything on one single platform. I don't need several people to handle it; it just works. It's great that I no longer have to log in to several different portals because now everything is in one. Also, the initial setup was very easy, which was great for our company size. I use JumpCloud together with Crowdstrike, and they work great together.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The password manager, it works, but it's a bit too lackluster compared to other specialized tools. Better browser integration, desktop version, better UI.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud consolidates all our portals into one, simplifying management with a single platform for IdP and MDM.

Ease of use and remote options. I was able to integrate Microsoft 365, and the performance so far is great. I had a little bit of a hiccup on the onboarding, but support was able to help me resolve the issue. The AI integration helps with looking up information. Overall, the Price we got as a non-profit was a good deal compared to other solutions.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I wish there were an option to use M365 SSO when logging in to the JumpCloud admin console.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud allows us to use one system to easy manage our org devices instead of using multiple solutions.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud helps us integrate workforce identity with our SSO applications, as well as manage devices. It's all integrated, with workforce identity, device management, and MDM. This integration works across three platforms: Windows, Linux, and macOS.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think there's a little bit of disconnectedness between the MDM policy delivery and some of the commands functionality. We had implemented Cortex XDR installs for Cortex XDR via MDM with Apple. And we also created a command to do that as well. I think that there could be a little bit more on a coherent connectedness between the commands and the MDM policy that are set up.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud integrates workforce identity with our SSO applications and manages devices across three platforms: Windows, Linux, and macOS. It serves as the authentication delivery mechanism to our workforce.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

What I like best about JumpCloud is its ability to unify identity, access, and device management into a single, cloud‑native platform. It simplifies IT operations by providing a single source of truth for users and devices, while enabling strong security through SSO, MFA, and automated onboarding/offboarding—especially valuable in hybrid and remote work environments.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

What I dislike about JumpCloud is that the initial setup and policy configuration can be complex, especially for organizations migrating from traditional Active Directory or managing advanced security use cases. Some integrations and advanced features also have a learning curve, which may require additional time, documentation, or support to fully optimize

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud is solving the problem of fragmented identity, access, and device management across cloud and on‑prem environments by bringing users, devices, and authentication into a single, cloud‑native directory. This benefits us by simplifying onboarding and offboarding, improving security with centralized SSO and MFA, and reducing operational overhead through a unified platform for managing a hybrid and remote workforce.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud is easy to deploy and provides a centralized platform for user identity, device management, and access control. Its automation and cross-platform support make day-to-day IT administration more efficient.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Advanced configurations have a learning curve, integrations with some third-party tools require extra effort, and customer support response times can vary for complex technical issues.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud centralizes user authentication, device management, and access policies in one platform. It reduces manual IT effort, strengthens security, and simplifies onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing user administration.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud fairly easy to use, and the onboarding experience was good. The interface is fairly easy to navigate. Additionally, the ability to deploy scripts and custom MDM policies is really valuable. I also appreciate how JumpCloud brings together device management with a platform that improves how we manage SaaS applications through single sign-on.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The integration with Macs is more challenging, probably due to how macOS is set up, which makes managing devices a bit difficult. Specifically, issues with encryption keys can be tricky. Plus, setting up ZeroTouch devices takes a long time before JumpCloud fully configures itself. The password reset process could also use some improvement.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps ensure devices meet our hardened build spec and compliance standards with antivirus and agent deployments. It provides logging and allows our IT team to give technical support, which is really useful for us.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I really appreciate JumpCloud for its ease of UI; everything is pretty straightforward, and I don't typically feel the need to reach out to support for simple tasks, unlike with other similar products. I also value the speed of JumpCloud; it pushes out new configurations way faster than its competitors. What would usually take 20-30 minutes elsewhere only takes 1-10 minutes with JumpCloud. The initial setup was very easy, and it's often one of the first things we teach new technicians due to its ease of entry.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The QR codes can sometimes be very difficult to scan. I would say that's the roughest part of the process any time I need to add a new device.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud provides unique solutions for device policies, restrictions, and app control. Its UI is straightforward, reducing the need for support. It also pushes configurations faster than competitors, saving time.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

You only need to memorize 1 password to get access into anything.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The price isn’t worth it unless you’re using multiple MDMs to manage multiple device types.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding takes minutes instead of hours. And offboarding can be scheduled and remote wipe any device

  ### 46. Easy-to-Use, Versatile User and Device Management with JumpCloud

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud is very easy to use and versatile. You can manage users and devices from a single service, set up RADIUS servers, integrate SSO via SAML, and synchronize authentication across platforms.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The JumpCloud agent that manages devices frequently go offline. We haven't discovered the reason behind it. But it's easy enough to restart the service/process.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unifying authentication across platforms makes your life easier. That also made an AD infrastructure redundant, saving you countless hours and dollars.

  ### 47. Streamlined Device Management, Needs Patch Management Refinement

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud has been improving their services very quickly over the past year or two that I've been using them. They've added a ton more features, such as shadow IT detection and outside jump call asset management. They've also improved their API significantly with the version two launch and system insight, which has helped us make a lot of automations. These improvements have reduced our workload and the workload of everyone else on the team.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I've noticed some issues with patch management. We still have some devices that are on pretty old versions of software, and I don't understand how they're still there when JumpCloud should be enforcing patching.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud to ensure devices are healthy, enforce security policies, streamline onboarding and offboarding, maintain password complexity, and sync profiles. It also prevents device misuse and ensures devices are patched properly.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

What I like best about JumpCloud is it's centralized identity and access management approach. It allow administrator to manage users, devices and access policies from a single cloud-based console.
The upsides of JumpCloud are:
- Support for Windows, MacOS, and Linux devices
- Easy scalability for growing organizations
- Centralized user, device and access management
- Simple and intuitive admin interface

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Although there is lot of documentation, users sometimes find it hard to navigate or lacking in clear, step-by-step guidance for advanced configurations.
The platform is powerful yet complex. New administrator especially those from smaller IT teams or transitioning from similar systems often findJumpCloud overwhelming at first.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jumpcloud solves the problem of seamless access for distributed or remote workforces. With employees and system spread across locationand devices, ensuring secure access to resources was a growing concern. It's clouddirectory, single-sign-on and MFA capabilities help ensure users can access what they need securely and without friction.

  ### 50. Streamlined Onboarding with Intuitive Hurdles regarding retrieval of devices.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud to be a worthwhile option for managing Apple and Windows devices in our company. It significantly simplifies the onboarding and offboarding processes, making them almost effortless.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I find the initial setup process somewhat challenging and not overly intuitive, especially concerning the linking of user groups to device groups, which can lead to system crashes. Additionally, the support services are inconsistent; while some representatives are excellent, others appear inexperienced and require extra time for research, leading to delays. Moreover, there is a recurring issue with computers not responding to network credentials when offline, which affects our mobile employees. Also - it is hard to know where a locked computer is. It is also near impossible to remove an iCloud account.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for streamlined onboarding and offboarding, simplifying equipment and app distribution, which prevents multiple accounts on different devices. It boosts employee compliance with equipment return policies and eases my workflow by enabling rapid equipment turnaround.
