They operate like an extension of our company, showing the same level of care and dedication. Their transparency in sharing detailed test data made us feel fully involved, and their constant testing and methodical approach truly set them apart. They consistently went above and beyond, even expanding beyond the initial scope to ensure results.

There wasn't much to dislike, but if anything, their fast pace might be a bit overwhelming for teams who prefer more gradual progress. However, this wasn't a problem for us.

Very structured, and flexible to adjust approaches quickly.

**What do you dislike about JJELLYFISH?**

Initially it was required to commit to 3 months right away. Luckily they were flexible and by paying extra we were able to get started month to month.

**Recommendations to others considering JJELLYFISH:**

You won't be disappointed. I've ran multiple SDR teams, and we have tried many different agencies, none of them were able to deliver such a structured process. If we did not see results I would still recommend them, simply because it would mean that our targeting is off and not that they did not do their work well. Luckily we are seeing results in a very consistent way exactly according to their predictions!

Consistent lead generation, so our business consistently continues to find prodcut market fit, and keeps growing at a high rate.

**What do you like best about JJELLYFISH?**

The strike a good balance between coaching and listening. While they are experts in their domain, they never dominate the meetings or the conversation. I felt in this capacity I could trust that they were structured without being straight-jacketed in their approach. We ultimately changed our working relationship a few times until we found the best fit that worked for both of us.

**What do you dislike about JJELLYFISH?**

Like most founders, one has to be very cost conscious. Working with Jjellyfish is an investment, and of course that comes with a higher cost. That said, I know the costs of wasted time, so it's easy for me and my company to justify the expense.

**Recommendations to others considering JJELLYFISH:**

If you're a founder that is looking to reduce time getting through the challenging PMF/G2M process, Jjellyfish is a solid partner that will help you get the data and have the confidence to make a go/no go decision on the direction you are trying to take the company.

**What problems is JJELLYFISH solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a repeat founder, I know that one of the biggest challenges in early stage startups is to get to product-market fit. As a PhD scientist, I know that one of the ways founders can mess this up is by not being ruthlessly quantative with the data and feedback they are getting, and then betting on a specific direction too soon.

We brought Jjellyfish on to help me and my company avoid these traps. As I stepped into the CEO role, I had to take on a lot of responsibilities as we changed the direction of the company. If I took on bizdev and G2M all by myself, I knew I wouldn't have the time to be rigorous and brutally honest with the data I was getting.

Jjellyfish was the perfect co-pilot partner to help me navigate this tricky phase of a startups journey. They not only had a strong framework/algorithm for getting the meetings setup with the proper questions to get the right data, they were relentless in how they analyzed, scored, and evaluated the results. We were able to invalidate our initial business assumptions within a few months, and then found a much stronger direction a few months after that. Without them, I might have placed my bet too early and stayed with it too long.

**What do you like best about JJELLYFISH?**

Their well defined data-driven approach to crack our outbound GTM motion in the US. We learnt a lot from working with them (methodology, processes, templates, industry benchmarks, best practices, etc.). But, more importantly they delivered on the outcomes we'd set. Shout out to Ben, Lindsay and Derek—they're a pleasure to work with—very professional and creative. Highly recommend the team!

The process is quite involved and needs time investment from the team. 

But, we wanted that as we needed to understand the approach/method in detail so we could scale this at our end.

We needed to establish our outbound GTM motion in the US market. Their time-bound process/approach gave us valuable insights into our ICP definition, hypothesis/assumptions testing, messaging, benchmarks to target and more. Loves challenges and is not afraid to work with the toughest part of the stage of sales. Very flexible.

Not much, if I have to come up with one, is sometimes it's useful to do more education upfront before running straight into a process. On the other side, coaching for sales behavior requires patience and having some rigorous process is not a bad idea.

Super professional approach. Jjellyfish wins because of the clear-cut deliverables that they have. You know from day 1 what you're walking into and they deliver precisely that.

**What do you dislike about JJELLYFISH?**

The number of meetings they usually take for their analysis is between 10 and 20. While that number is great for an established industry vertical where you're talking to C-Suite or VPs who know their market in and out, in an upcoming industry, it becomes a little tricky to rely on insights with just ten meetings.

**Recommendations to others considering JJELLYFISH:**

Go for it! If you have early signs of PMF, definitely go for it. If you're Pre-PMF, you may want to consider the best time to engage Jjellyfish but engaging them is a good investment for sure.

Jjellyfish helped us identify whether the assumptions we had in mind were worth spending time and energy on as we were in a Pre-PMF stage. More than the time saved, it is about the conversations that you end up striking internally because of their comprehensive questionnaire which helps you as a founder or a CRO.

There's nothing to dislike; JJ is a pleasure to work with. One area I believe they could strengthen is how the ICP is defined; I feel like we could get more nuanced and more targeted there.

If you have a product or service and you need to get smarter about who your market is, how to sell to them, and the most effective efforts for GTM, they have a great approach with good value.

**What do you like best about JJELLYFISH?**

The team assigned to us were very professional and knowledgeable. They ran a tight process throughout their engagement with us, and added value with insightful recommendations along the way. Even when we needed to pivot midstream, they adapted well and generated useful insights despite a compressed timeframe.

**What do you dislike about JJELLYFISH?**

When developing the initial assumptions and ICP, they could have pushed us a bit harder to refine them further to facilitate a more targeted testing process. This is also on us - I would recommend having some strong initial convictions before engaging through the Jjellyfish process: it is a robust one, but you have to be prepared to commit to a particular set of assumptions for a full quarter for best effect.

I like JJ's data driven approach that tests our assumptions, while building a framework that we can replicate and simultaneously illuminating insights that would have taken our internal team much longer to discover. At the end of the process we were left with not only invaluable knowledge and perspective but more importantly, a vetted and  actionable pipeline that we can sell to.

Getting really high-impact insight is not cheap or fast. This may limit access of JJellyfish's services to some organizations but you get what you pay and wait for.... 

You should expect to be heavily invested with your time and money during the Jjellyfish engagement, but the results will likely far exceed your expectations. Jjellyfish definitely overdelivered for us!

We loved their process. It is strong and methodical. It requires patience but it actually allows you to move faster than you would if you tried to do it without following a similarly robust process. We didn't know if they would be equally good at executing the process. But they absolutely were. When pivots were needed, they made them, while making sure the decision was based on a strong dataset.

Like many good and valuable things in life and business, this is not for companies who are not prepared for the price tag. Their people are seasoned and experienced and that's how they are able to execute so well.

Do this before investing in an expensive expansion into the US market. You will learn a process that you will be able to continue to use and also if the market is right for your product.

We had tried to expand to another market before and learned the hard way that just hiring salespeople in that market is not the answer. So we wanted to be scientific about our expansion to the US. It was at this point where we got connected with Jjellyfish and we were certain that they would be the right partner for us as we expanded into the US Market. 

During the last three months, we worked with them actively to better understand the US Market and really zero-in on our ICP. Every decision they took was backed by data (and experience) - we were super-happy and confident about the results.

Most helpful was the team's ability to build the infrastructure we needed for a B2B enterprise sales team including the sales strategy, infrastructure, scripts, salesforce deployment, collateral, and messaging. A very talented and smart group of people.

We didn't have an Enterprise product going into the engagement and JJellyfish wasn't really able to help us define a product. The engagement would have been more successful if we came in with the product instead of trying to develop it in parallel to developing the sales organization.

Amazing knowledgeable and down to earth people who care.

In our case, time difference was sometimes an issue. But that's dependent with each case, I guess. But they make it work!
