"Advanced Features with Some Configuration Challenges"
What do you like best about IPPBX?

I really appreciate the cost savings that IPPBX provides, which is a significant benefit to me. The product's call quality stands out, ensuring clear and reliable communication, which is essential for my work. I am impressed by the advanced features of IPPBX, particularly the voice mail and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) capabilities, which enhance my experience by offering a more comprehensive communication solution. The initial setup of IPPBX was very smooth and time-saving, making the transition easy and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IPPBX?

I find the setup and maintenance of IPPBX to be challenging. The network needs to be perfectly configured to prioritize voice traffic, and issues can arise with firewall and router settings, potentially leading to problems like one-way audio. These technical requirements make the process cumbersome and can lead to connectivity issues during calls if not managed correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and Cost-Effective Communication, but Security Concerns Persist"
What do you like best about IPPBX?

I like IPPBX for its flexibility and remote work capabilities. It integrates voice with instant messaging, video conferencing, and email, promoting collaboration for remote teams. The ability for employees to use softphone apps or smartphones, laptops, or tablets to make and receive calls is great. Whether it's on-cloud or on-premises, organizations have the choice between control or scalability and low maintenance. I enjoy the significant cost savings IPPBX provides by leveraging VoIP and SIP trunking, drastically reducing communication expenses, especially for long-distance and international calls. I also appreciate that it eliminates the need for expensive, separate phone wiring because voice and data can run over the same network. The initial setup compares favorably to traditional analog or proprietary PBX systems, often described as user-friendly and achievable within minutes for basic configurations. I also like the plug-and-play functionality, modern IPPBX systems allow devices to connect and be recognized automatically, allowing for quick deployment while leveraging existing infrastructure since IPPBX runs on standard IT networks, removing the need for separate and costly phone wiring. What do you dislike about IPPBX?

Security vulnerability because these systems operate over the internet and are prime targets for hacking, toll fraud, unauthorized calls, and eavesdropping. Remote work limitations with older or poorly configured on-site IPPBX systems require complex VPN setups to function outside the office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
