## IO Classroom Reviews
  ### 1. Achieves the basics but not much more

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2021

**What do you like best about IO Classroom?**

It's easy to create assignments and input grades, and I like being able to see transcripts and academic history for each student. Taking attendance within the app is also helpful. It's also nice to link to Google Classroom to get grades from there.

**What do you dislike about IO Classroom?**

It doesn't have advanced features like a detailed analysis of student performance. It's also not incredibly user-friendly. For example, combining classes or adding teachers can be a headache. The app is very glitchy as well.

**What problems is IO Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its best function is as a gradebook, to input grades and assignments for all students. It's also helpful to use the anecdotal logs to share important information about students with other teachers.

  ### 2. Great program to skill track of grades and create detailed reports.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about IO Classroom?**

The ease of creating assignments and linking them to google classroom

**What do you dislike about IO Classroom?**

The new version is supposed to be better, they rolled it out this year, however, it is slow and makes it more difficult to input grades.

**What problems is IO Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had issues syncing my grade books, it would take me a large amount of time to get things done. I can realized that now the software is linked to google classroom. This way I can grade in

**What do you dislike about IO Classroom?**

1. Data analysis is slow
2. Data extractor connection with ATS is tedious
3. Report runs slower than ATSA

**Recommendations to others considering IO Classroom:**

Great product because they are receptive to your concerns.

**What problems is IO Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Dont have to talk to teachers about individual students, you can just look it up as an admin.

  ### 4. IO Classroom is a premiere choice for tracking student data, but could still improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil C. | Paralegal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about IO Classroom?**

I think the best think about io classroom is that it has an easy way to upload grades and it will turn it into an average automatically. The way to create a new assignment and put it into each class is also easy enough to do.

**What do you dislike about IO Classroom?**

I dislike that you can't directly upload data sets from an excel document unless you are using the format that they give you. I also think the side bar is a bit clunky.

**Recommendations to others considering IO Classroom:**

I think you should pay to get io classroom and I think you should organize the sharing options with your colleagues so that they do not have an issue working with your students.

**What problems is IO Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to keep track of student data and to issue grades, give assessments and upload course assignments. Students also have access to their grades almost instantaneously due to their use of pupil path.

  ### 5. Our school switched to IO this year!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2018

**What do you like best about IO Classroom?**

I like that you can tag other staff in logs and they'll get notifications to their emails.

**What do you dislike about IO Classroom?**

Some of the features still aren't working after a few months of school.

**What problems is IO Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the email notifications. Attendance is also easier.

  ### 6. Efficient Tool for Teachers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca R. | English Teacher, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about IO Classroom?**

IO is a great way for me to manage my gradebook. It's easy to sort assignments into categories, change the weight or the percentage points, and see change from marking period to marking period. Also love the ability to write anecdotal logs about students - I can immediately write up a disciplinary issue, or see what issues other teachers have written about that student.

**What do you dislike about IO Classroom?**

Not much ability to see data or trends; I would like to be able to play around with that and see what's working/what's not.

**Recommendations to others considering IO Classroom:**

Definitely take advantage of looking up information about a student. You can see their grades in other classes, attendance history, and anecdotal logs written about them. If I am struggling with a student in my class, it really helps to be able to see how they are performing in other classes.

**What problems is IO Classroom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to helping me manage my own gradebook, students/parents have the ability to log in and see their own grades. This way, when they ask me what they're missing or what their grade currently is, I can help them see it all right in front of them.
