User-Friendly AR Software for New Businesses

Looking at data on the Accounts Receivable Software category page, BILL, Invoiced, Qonto, Versapay, and Upflow seem to be top choices for users prioritizing ease of use, simple setup, and accessible dashboards. See below for my top software list.

1. BILL Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable – is a widely used AR solution for small businesses. It offers user-friendly invoicing, recurring billing, and digital payment options. Its intuitive dashboard and QuickBooks/Xero integrations make it ideal for non-finance founders or small teams needing fast onboarding.

2. Invoiced – is a billing automation platform known for being easy to implement and manage. With features like auto-reminders, customer payment portals, and subscription billing, it's perfect for new businesses that want to reduce late payments without much manual effort.

3. Qonto – is a business finance platform built for startups and small companies in Europe. It includes built-in invoicing, expense management, and banking features. Its simple design and real-time payment tracking make it great for founders looking for an all-in-one tool.

4. Versapay – is a collaborative AR platform designed to connect finance teams and customers in one space. It simplifies communication around payments and offers tools for fast dispute resolution and digital invoice sharing—ideal for businesses prioritizing customer experience.

5. FreshBooks – is an invoicing and accounting platform built for freelancers and small businesses. It offers basic AR features like recurring invoicing, payment tracking, and reminders, with a strong focus on user experience and simplicity.

6. Agicap – is a cash flow management platform with AR tracking capabilities. It’s great for early-stage businesses looking for visibility into future cash inflows without getting too deep into full-suite AR platforms.

What do you think? Based on your experiences, are there other easy-to-use AR platforms worth checking out? I’d love to hear what the G2 community believes is the best option for new business owners. Thanks!
