  ### 1. Instawork helps weed out the nitwits

**What do you like best about Instawork?**

Quick response to shifts being posted. 

Ability to see stats on individuals before they arrive on site.

Being able to contact temp associates direclty for additional instructions is nice. 

The admin staff with Instawork is top notch and always helpful.

Using the app as a new way to stage chefs to see if they are a good fit instead of going through the whole process of interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training just to find out theyre toxic.

**What do you dislike about Instawork?**

The app and desktop interface takes a little getting used to. THere have been a few times, Ive posted shifts with the incorrect info (payrate, times, etc) but that was more me rushing through and not clicking all the correct buttons....

Do it.

**What problems is Instawork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a restauranteur, the need for temporary assistance is just part of the business. 

Having used several local staffing agencies it was suprememly frustrating to ask for help, and recieve bodies instead of helpful associates. Half the time I was tracking those persons down trying to get them to do the tasks required. 

It felt as though staffing agencies were taking anyone they could get off the street and tossing them into jobs they werent qualified or willing to do. 

With Instawork, it is specific to our industry. People are aware up front, that they are looking for food service gigs, not warehouseing, not janitorial, not construction....food service.

Secondly, people on the app need to have a modicum of intelligence just to get through the process of becoming a pro. Compared with the quality of associates we were getting from local staffing agencies, this was worth its weight in gold. Mind you, there are still some individuals where being prompt is a struggle however the hit rate on good people is much higher with Instawork.

**What do you like best about Instawork?**

The communication I get between Client Partner and Staffing Manager is phenomenal. Jared and Evan are top tier.

**What do you dislike about Instawork?**

Sometimes we will get the occasional worker we may have to DNR, however, what's great is the Client Partner is quick to accommodate and understand why we'd have to DNR someone.

**What problems is Instawork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instawork helps provide quantity and quality of staff over the last few years of business with them. They are great with receiving feedback and also editing orders or discussing what the best course of action is to operate our needs.

Ease of use, quality of candidates, assistance with account when you need it.

Candidates not showing up, which is rare.

If you need short term temporary help (on a consistent basis) it worth looking into.

**What problems is Instawork solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have always had issues with being short of labor, but we are also fortunate enough to work in a unique corporate setting that offers a lot of vacation time. When staff takes this time, or is just otherwise out for other reasons it can be very difficult to handle some our jobs. Instawork came into our business at just the right time. We have been able to get temporary, quality help on a regular basis.

If you are in need of dependable labor for any situation, i highly recommend Instawork.

We have been struggling for years to find a trustworthy labor source and we have now found them in Instawork.

**What do you like best about Instawork?**

Ease of process, friendliness of staff,.

**What do you dislike about Instawork?**

Instawork has policies in place that cause those employed by Instawork to work and complete shifts but not be compensated as agreed on by both parties. These employees are at times dependant upon clients to supply them with critical codes to be able to clock in and out. If those clients fail to provide those codes at the start or end of the shift or are late in providing those codes  for whatever reason, the person who is permorming the work will not get paid at all. For the entire shift. Instacart makes the employee responsible for the clients compliance for the timely information. Employees have 12 hours to dispute the "no pay" policy by arguing that the client failed to provide the codes, but the process and knowledge of the requirement and its 12 hour limitation as well as the severity of the penalty of no pay can and does allow Instawork to get away with not paying for work performed in good faith. I cannot understand how Instawork could ever feel this to be an acceptable way of doing business. I am not sure that a client would feel comfortable supporting this type of behavior, not to mention the risks involved when workers sent to the client may have negative or disgrutled feelings resulting in an absence of respect for Instacart. Not the best scenario for good work or qorkplace safety. Personally, I would prefer that workers be confident that they will be compensated for the work they do for me.

Reliable staff. Albeit unpaid workers.
