The automation and development tools in Syteline have helped us improve our processes, and eliminate several "white space" delays that typically plague long, multi-departmental processes. Additionally, software is easy to use, and the built-in help is light-years beyond most software help systems. Because the software is so large, and can meet many diverse needs, it can sometimes be overwhelming. Infor does provide a great deal of help, and they have many training resources available. The best thing about using Infor Syteline ERP for me is the support. When you are paying for annual maintenance and you have an issue you simply need to document the problem that you are having and post the issue and you will normally get a response the same day with a solution or a work around. The biggest fault and therefore our biggest modification to provide something that they do not provide in their base package is they do not provide for on-site container inventory. During our sales meetings and their presentation of the package they said that Syteline provided for container inventory, but when they say container inventory they are referring to a box container on a semi which may be offloaded to a ship, not on-site container inventory. Even their Shop Floor Data Collection system, Factory Track, does not provide for on-site container inventory. This shocked me because I thought that every software package provided for container inventory after Firestone had their quality issues in 1999. Container inventory is very important and it needs to not only be part of the system which allows you to barcode your raw material containers upon receipt and your finished goods upon creation, but it also needs to be part of the issue/un-issue of material to/from a job, it also needs to be part of your quality system to allow you to place specific containers or ranges of containers on or off hold, it also needs to be part of your customer order product reservation system to allow you to reserve specific quality approved containers for a specific customer shipment, it also needs to be part of your shipping process and require the material handlers to scan each container to a pick list and provide for the ability to verify that each container should be loaded on the truck/packing slip it is being loaded on, it also needs to be part of the physical inventory system to allow you to take your physical inventory by scanning each container in your facility. You can get part of the above functionality by purchasing a bolt on product like Nutech’s Viewpoint, but as you can see from the above, container inventory needs to be fully ingrained in almost everything you do with an ERP package that unless it is part of the base package you will never get the full benefit of having an on-site container inventory system in place. I like the amount of data that Infor SyteLine provides. While it may not always be pretty and sometimes offers more data than necessary, I find it really helpful because it ensures I have everything I need for reporting. Even though the reports are not customizable and involve a lot of manipulation, I appreciate that any download I take from the system contains all the information I need, so I don't have to return to SyteLine for additional data. I find it clunky and very manual. Things need to be individually refreshed or created and processed. There's no way to do a bulk refresh. It can only move so quick, and I get thrown with error messages because it can't work as fast as I can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Infor SyteLine for its ease of use and its ability to manage different segments and bring it all together as a powerful ERP system. I also appreciate its ability to customize. The software effectively supports various business functions, from inventory to costing, billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payment functions. I like that Infor SyteLine acts as a hub for our ERP system, where customer account information, orders, pricing, and other information are all located, making it easier to access and modify data. I appreciate that it serves as a reference point for our data, simplifying the process of checking information or making changes when needed. I also like that Infor SyteLine is the one place where we can perform multiple tasks or review information in one spot, enhancing convenience. I use the customer and customer orders features, which allow me to review all information about the customers and their order history. Currently we are using Syteline 6 but are at the early stages to transitioning to 10. I like the possibilities that 10 has to offer, and I think it will help solve a lot of our issues that we currently have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are currently using Syteline 6, which while it works, could be a lot better, we have a lot of customizations in our software which can make it difficult to run standard processes, we are working towards removing these slowly as we transition to CSI 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company has been a long time user of Syteline on premise and have recently moved to the cloud. This version is super scalable and integrates with other INFOR products seamlessly. Having the cloud version provides all the benefits of SAAS services including uptime and DR beneftis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are newly transitioned to the SL10/CSI system and do not have any major concerns. There is a bit of a learning curve for users of previous versions. It is an extraordinary and different from all similar structures. Thanks to its integrated structure, it provides the ability to gather all departments under a single roof. Easy installation, minimum resource consumption, maximum efficiency and ease of use. It also has an easy-to-use interface.

/if you are new to SytleLine and have never used a system like this before, it can be difficult starting out at first. It can be challenging to learn quickly, but if instructed properly, you will get the hang of it, and it becomes very user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
