What do you like best about iLife Technologies?
I must say, iLife is the future for the independent life agent and or life insurance agency owner.
After several fruitless conversations with several companies I contacted requesting access to their API for e-app automation and automatic electronic underwring capabilities through their API's, finally a company who's willing to give the smaller guys an opportunity to get into the digital automation e-app arena.
The main companies that offer the capabilities of customer facing quote and apply technologies and other related technologies, pitch to the industry about using their API's for access to the digital technologies we need going forward, telling us how easy it is to access them by simply clicking the button and requesting access, are, in my opinion, very misleading.
I've had 4 conversations with four different companies who allow some major insurance firms to have access, and all of them have said the same thing. You're company needs to be grossing over $1million annually. On one end I respect their business and the fact they have a chosen target audience. On the other end, they should state that in some way that on their platforms rather than have us schedule demos only to be told you have to have $100k plus to gain access and or have a company that's generating $1million plus annually.
Many of us looking to add the digitization to our insurance agencies to stay current and give clients options, aren't able to do so unless we're already financially established in our businesses or possibly have connections with these entities. I would say it's unfair but it's not illegal or unethical to exclude newer companies from your platform. I do however, think it doesn't serve the industry well.
iLife has done something that the long time giants were not willing to do, and give the newer agencies and agents the ability to add digitization to our life agencies for an affordable price, less hassle, and they personalize their interactions and experiences with you. I believe their approach will foster lots of brand loyalty from the up and coming agencies and agents. We're likely to stick around where we feel valued, services are great, the company appreciates and accepts feedback from us, and applies changes where and when it makes sense, giving us a greater overall experience.
And as their platform grows in knowledge and experience, adds and removes functions to make their platform bigger and better, learns from their mistakes, continues to listen to agent and agency feedback on what we need then implement those changes when it makes sense overall, and continues to provide value, people like me, and agencies like mine, will be there for the ride.
