"Very well structured"
What do you like best about iHasco e-learning?

You can break it down into 15 minute segments if you want to. I also liked the extensive references to further reading. Given the investment of time, which is not great, I think the courses are remarkably comprehensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iHasco e-learning?

Needing to be online when completing the module, an offline option would be helpf. I treied to do a session on a train, not easy with variable signal quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hard to concentrate in a working office environment"
What do you like best about iHasco e-learning?

I did not like the style of training at all unfortunately this type of training is completely forgettable.

E learning if correctly guided is of value but this tends to be of a project or extended course, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iHasco e-learning?

Upon reflection I did not like the style of training,

It was not interactive (unable to ask questions) and not engaging or differentiated. It was very non personal.

It was difficult to concentrate in a busy office or find the time to complete in one session therefore the training was very fragmented and the foundation of interrelationships between subject matter was not fluent and as such very disjointed and the knowledge gained could not be retained to the end and the final questions. I think it was four goes for me to find the time.

Also at least two of the questions were hard grammatically to understand. No wonder this training allows for multiple attempts.

Response from Amanda Lowndes of iHasco e-learning

Hi,

Thank you for your honest feedback after completing our training the other day. All feedback is greatly appreciated. It gives us the opportunity to improve our content and overall experience.

We at iHASCO would love it if we could make our training personal for each and every client, but sadly this is unachievable, as so many people have different needs, prioritises and working environments. However, we do pride ourselves on training our clients on the essentials that are relevant to everyone - with wellbeing, physical safety and legal compliance at the forefront of our minds during every stage of production and sale. We also encourage our clients to make good use of our 'additional content' feature within each course - which supplies additional information, downloadable PDFs and links to further sources.

We do appreciate the challenge that comes with completing training in an office environment, as they can be distracting. We do enable our courses to be completed on the go and on any device, which enables clients to complete them outside of work, such as on a commute. Given the time-efficient nature of our training, it won't take much more than 30 minutes (on average) to complete a course. It's also possible to wear noise cancelling headphones whilst you complete the training, or even work from a laptop in a conference room or quiet spot in the office? If an employer insists that training must be completed at an employee’s desk, I'm afraid that it's out of our hands. I hope these suggestions have helped.

We take all feedback very seriously, and anything such as inaccurate grammar is corrected as soon as we are made aware of it. If you could specify the course in question, we will have a member of our production team investigate and resolve this. We are interested to know the course title for other reasons too, as our newer ones include written and presenter-spoken questions throughout the duration of the programme, to facilitate interaction and engagement, as well as being able to test our users on what they are learning.

Regarding the information in our courses being freely available on those websites - much of it is. But it's just plain text and would make for a very dull learning experience for many people. The required information is also spread far and wide in a number of different locations which can make hard work for many people wanting to learn. We undertake thorough research, talk to specialists in the field when needed, and consolidate the information into a concise and informative course that allows our users to access the necessary information with ease. We also provide training records and certificates to help keep workplaces compliant - which is something these external websites cannot do.

We strive to make our course content both simple and engaging. Our animation and graphics are the best in the eLearning industry and every part of every course is made with love. We are only getting better and better, and I have a strong feeling/hope that the course in question here could be an older one that is due a Version 2. Either way, we will look into it.

If there is anything else I can help please do feel free to come back to me

Best Regards

Amanda Lowndes

"Very informative"
What do you like best about iHasco e-learning?

The shortness of the sessions. The examples and use of real characters to stress the points. Not just talking and powerpoint. The pace and tone of the presenter is perfect. I love the simplicity too. Makes learning easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
