HSI Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI
Is HSI free, or does it offer a free trial?

HSI does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is HSI pricing best suited for?

HSI's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise organizations with complex, multi-module EHS needs. G2 reviewers from manufacturing, construction, utilities, health and wellness, and transportation industries represent the core adopter base, predominantly companies with 51 to over 1,000 employees. Mid-market reviewers value HSI's ability to consolidate training, compliance, and incident reporting at scale without heavy IT dependency. Enterprise reviewers emphasize custom SLAs, global configurability, and automation as key drivers. HSI's pricing structure, requiring direct vendor engagement, favors buyers with dedicated EHS administrators and budget authority, making it less accessible for small businesses or teams seeking self-serve, transparent pricing.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of HSI?

HSI does not offer a permanent free version. According to G2's pricing data for HSI, a free trial is available for teams evaluating the platform before committing. HSI's paid plan is a single enterprise tier with custom pricing, unlocking the full suite including unlimited reporting and dashboards, code-free configuration, professional services, enterprise-grade security, custom SLAs, and flexible hosting and compliance options. G2 reviewers consistently highlight the breadth of configurable modules, including incident management, LMS, checklists, and OSHA 300 log generation, as features accessible only through HSI's paid enterprise agreement, making the trial the sole no-cost entry point.

Is HSI considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers give HSI a strong overall rating, with most mid-market and enterprise users praising its consolidation of safety training, incident reporting, compliance, and dashboards into one configurable platform. The value proposition is clear for organizations replacing multiple disparate systems. However, at least one G2 reviewer in paper and forest products noted the initial price felt steep and required negotiation. High configurability is frequently cited as justifying the cost, particularly for enterprises needing OSHA 300 logs, custom workflows, and scalable modules. The absence of transparent pricing means buyers must engage sales directly, which some G2 reviewers found cumbersome, making ROI harder to assess pre-purchase.

"Highly Customizable HSI Modules That Streamline Team Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about HSI?

The customization ability to display the data we track for better streamlined communication throughout our team. The value of having access to HSI is unbelievable. For a small department, HSI has streamlined and supported our requirements so that in return I have more time to physically focus on my team members and customers to order to give them a faster turn around on our KPIs and pulse on how Safety is doing within our company. HSI has given me confidence to not live in Excel Spreadsheets and get lost in the physical paperwork of checklists. We are 24/7/365 - so is HSI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HSI?

For me personally, I cannot share a dislike. All aspects of my position can be housed, tracked, and projected through the HSI modules they offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Training with Effective Compliance Tracking"
4/5
What do you like best about HSI?

I use HSI for safety training and managing e-learning content, supporting onboarding with structured training modules for new employees, and ensuring compliance across my team. I like how HSI provides a centralized system and keeps training records accurate, reducing manual tracking. I value that this feature saves me a lot of time because all records are consistent and everything is in one place, ensuring no required training is missed or duplicated. The platform also made the initial setup relatively easy with its helpful instructions to guide the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HSI?

The learning curve can be a bit steep for new users. It could use more customization options. Also, it could be more responsive and faster in certain areas, like layout and display preferences. More flexibility in customizing training paths, filtering, and data grouping options would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
