**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

I use Housecall Pro for running my business, and it makes things easier. I've been using it for about three years, and I like it a lot. I appreciate their Facebook page where I can quickly get help and feedback from other users and developers without having to wait on a phone call. I like their support, it's pretty cool. They're always coming out with new products, which I enjoy trying out. The setup was pretty simple, and once I got the hang of it, it was easy to use. I give it a 10 out of 10, and I like the fact that it focuses my Google and Facebook reviews.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

I had an issue with invoicing on Housecall Pro where sometimes all the invoices wouldn't show up month to month. But that's been recently fixed on the application.

I use Housecall Pro for running my business, booking customers, sending invoices, estimates, managing scheduling, and payroll. It makes things easier and helps out with a lot of stuff.

**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

I love the service contract feature in Housecall Pro and the on the way feature, which is great for us. I also love that it works with Force fleets and helps in tracking our vans. There are so many great features that make things easier for us and our customers, like collecting payments every month and reminding them when they need to schedule. These features take a lot off our customer's experience person's responsibilities every day. Additionally, Housecall Pro was super easy to set up and is easy to learn, making it simple to integrate new employees.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

I would love to see a map when I'm scheduling where my jobs are so I can schedule jobs closer to each other. For efficiency with our guys. So they're not going thirty minutes away and then coming back to the same town. And that not to be an add on from a different company. I would like Housecall Pro to have that as an included feature to make scheduling easier.

**What problems is Housecall Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Housecall Pro organizes current and past jobs, shows daily schedules, simplifies payment collections, reminds customers of schedules, and reduces our workload, making it easier for both us and our customers.

Sometimes the menus are not as intuitive as I would like. I just booked someone the other day to the wrong address on mobile because there was not indication that there were two addresses associated with the account in the mobile app. One was displayed on her profile, which is the one I confirmed with her. The other auto selected when I actually booked the appointment. This was not caught until after the appointment window.

Housecall Pro is our dispatching, appointment calendar, our customer database. It helps us with estimate follow ups.

**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

Real automation without a complicated learning curve. It is possible to schedule appointment reminders, automatic charges, and follow-ups without needing to be a software expert. It is ideal for technicians or business owners seeking efficiency without complications. The mobile app is powerful and well-designed: technicians can check routes, take photos, charge, and close jobs directly from their phone. Additionally, it works even offline, which is very useful in areas with poor signal. The flow is complete, from quotation to payment. You can send a quote, convert it into a job, invoice, and collect payment, all within the same process, which helps reduce errors and speeds up the sales cycle. If you use formal accounting, the integration with QuickBooks Online is seamless. You can also accept card payments directly from the app or via a link.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

The interface is available only in English and does not have an official translation into Spanish. This can be an obstacle for technicians or operational staff who do not have a good command of the language, thus hindering its adoption.

I also appreciate that they're always expanding their services and have integrated email and text marketing along with review services and payment processing in one place, making it convenient. The initial setup was so easy. Overall, Housecall Pro is truly invaluable to me and my customers.

I'm not really thrilled with all of the calls from different departments trying to get me to add on services that I would add if I could use the service.

We use it and it’s pretty good. There’s occasionally some glitches that we have to work out (billing stuff like dates get messed up). Overall though it has vastly improved the estimating & billing side of the business. For me, we were using just quickbooks and various lists so anything would have been an improvement. But it does seem like they are constantly improving the program.

Before using it, we struggled to centralize customer information, track schedules in real-time, and coordinate technicians effectively. **What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

Housecall Pro is very user-friendly and easy to implement.  I like the price book setup, the ease of taking credit/debit cards, and the customer & job tags.  It is also easy to track lead sources.  I like the customer support.  It's great being able to jump on at any time and get answers & help.  The integration with QB Online has been easy so far, there are a few hiccups, but I understand there isn't perfect software.  We have used other programs and when comparing, HCP ranks stronger in the areas that benefit us the most.  I also like that they are always upgrading and adding features. 
 We use HCP daily and would truly be lost without it.  We changed over from another company in 2021 and it has been a great experience.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

The Reports.  They have improved over the years, but there is no way to track commissions on particular services.    The reporting with the last company was much better.  It allowed you to set up the tech and what their commission rate was, then when they upselled a product/service, you could check "commission" and the report would show what they sold, the cost (minus discounts), and what the commissions were.  I could pull the report without doing any calculations and it put the responsibility for the tech to note their commissions.  There are a few other little annoyances like being unable to discount an individual line item or adding a tip for checks that pulls over to QB like the CC tips do. If I sat here long enough, I am sure I could list a few more, but even with these, HCP still ranks higher than the other programs we have used.

HCP keeps our customers and accounts organized and their information secure.  The scheduling feature is great and keeps us on task and our vans days free from worry.

**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

The thing I always come back to with Housecall Pro is how user friendly it is. Any sort of field software is only as good as the techs using it. If the technician can't/won't/has a hard time using it, then no amount of features, nor cutting edge technology, will make it a good software. Housecall has focused intensely on their design and making it easy for anyone to pick up and quickly become familiar with it. That is invaluable for me as a small business owner, and reducing that training time.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

The biggest issue from my perspective is the *seeming* intent of the software developers to continue to generate new projects and scopes, without fully seeing through the development of current projects/added features/existing features etc.  

As Truett Cathy, the late founder of Chick-fil-A, once said "If we get better, our customers will demand we get bigger." This was in direct dispute of his top Executive Board who had been insisting that they open more stores, faster, in order to compete with other chains for market share.

Sometimes, from the product consumer pov, and a consumer who has been with HCP for a number of years now, it seems HCP is attempting to get bigger at the expense of getting better (at what they already do).

**What problems is Housecall Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our scheduling software first and foremost. Streamlining intake to invoice is a huge "shortcut" that solves a million problems for us, and any business that is no longer doing that on hardcopy.
The CRM and customer history aspect is also a large benefit that I believe most underappreciate.

**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

It's easy to learn even for those not technically savy and keeps our business organized and streamlined.  We are able to efficiently generate estimates, invoices and keep track of customer history and notes.  I can also appreciate the continued improvements and enhancements the HCP developers continue to add and the integrations are easy without needing to be an IT expert.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

The app can be 'glitchy' and not do all the things it should be all the time.  There are small nuances I personally would like to see improved such as the 'copy to job' function for approved estimates to be a 1-click in the pipeline; however, most of my dislikes are just personal preferences. I am seeing some areas where it looks like there are integrations or add-ons being offered that seem to be 'extra' and some of that is being 'sold' pretty strongly through pop ups and emails.  However, for what we need and do we are very happy with HCP.

Organization with estimates out, approved and scheduling.  We use the Pipeline function that helps keep track of everything business operations.

**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

I was speaking with my father in regards to growing my business, his input was to hire an operations manager that could handle all the task I handle so I could open some new markets.  Insert House Call Pro, I was already using it to about 60% efficiency. On paper an upper level manager was going to cost me about 85k a year in salary cap. I pondered on how I could avoid this expensive but critical decision. I decided to invest alittle more money into HCP's more niche features. Man it has been the absolute best decision I have made for myself and my orgnization.  Next week on the 13th, I will be attending a kick off meeting for Louisiana and Texas simulataniously.  Then after the first of the year it will be on to Oklahoma.  Sorry for the wordy response, so to answer the question.  I like the fact that HCP are innovators who will listen to their base and try to implement and 9/10 they knock it out of the park.  When i first became a client, I called HCP my CRM tool. Now Its clear to me, they are an ERP tool.  Its extremely easy to add new features that integrate with my other softwares.  Its so easy to get a hold of customer support and tailor my plan directly to my business's unique needs.  I can log in every morning and see where all my human capital is and what my AR is and move on from there.

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

The only thing i dislike about HCP is the fact that I didnt begin using it earlier in my business's lifecycle!

**What problems is Housecall Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

auto invoicing, MoM and YoY data analysis in realtion to KPI's or benchmarks.  Since implementing HCP my cancelations have dropped to 3%.  Overall it keeps my extremely organized and keeps my business appearance very professional.

**What do you like best about Housecall Pro?**

It's very user friendly and has to many features that I didn't even know I needed. When we implemented HCP into our business, it was a smooth transition and organized all of our customers with attached jobs and invoices. The HCP team has quick responses anytime I have a question. We use it daily to schedule estimates which also makes booking jobs a breeze! I run the office and the techs can attach pictures and notes right to the job. Receiving reviews, automatic reminders for past due invoices, revenue reports, HCP has it all. Definately recommend HCP to business owners!

I really haven't found anything I dislike. It has made my job so much easier and organized. I love HCP!

HCP covers all aspects of my jobs responsibilities and helps me connect to the techs in the field. It's organized all our customers with specific details and collects reviews from customers and the reports it can produce makes my job so much easier.

- The team can be on the same page  -Notifications for customers - Keep our guys up to date on their schedules  - process payments - Clock-in and out system  - sections for notes and photos per job - pipeline is very helpful - scheduling system is very easy

**What do you dislike about Housecall Pro?**

There should be something in the system for when we want to put an employee out for a holiday. At this time, it only lets us place the employee on an "event" which is barely visible and it doesn't stop anyone from putting that employee on a job. There should be something where if you try to schedule an employee and it overlaps with another job or an event, at least a notification should pop-up to say "Hey, this person is already booked for something, are you sure?" and let us figure it out from there. 
Also it would be great if you had something specifically for us to put an employee out for vacation. Something that allows us block them from being scheduled. As we are a growing company, it would be best to keep track to make sure over-booking would not be an issue.

I would like a way to schedule a client and have a custom interface to do recurring cleanings with that person. I tried the service plans option as well but I can only customize to the masses. I'd like a way to have a service plan per customer. I'd actually like to contact someone about this because it would greatly help my business.

Leads generate directly from multiple apps like Thumbtack, then easily transform into Estimates, Jobs when customers approve them, and invoices when the work is done. Great audit trail, automations to remind customers by email and text. 

I love having multiple options on a single estimate for multiple jobs or upsell options. Support is fantastic and the rate of new features that are impactful is impressive.

I wish I could communicate by text to multiple phone numbers like I can with multiple emails.  That's about it so q

Everything in one platform. Scheduling, CRM, estimating, invoicing, photo capture, notes for customers and addresses or jobs only, materials and services lists and tracking, integrations with lead services, and a lot more.

Some features are buggy at times namely the photo uploading on mobile has caused issues several times and been a major point of frustration. 
  Offline options need to continue to improve as my service areas are often outside of cell coverage. 
  Some carryover of notes, pictures, etc are too limited to specific jobs or pages at times making one have to jump between pages or tabs too much it seems.

The only thing I can think of that would make them undeniably the in this industry. Is if the software could integrate with a collection agency and automate it for clients that fail to pay there invoices. If this software was able to that. I believe all other software would have shut down. No other software providers would be able to keep up. No other software company not even service titan is able to do that. As a business owner of an HVAC company. Field service tech. This is what ever field service company is looking for.

I love everything about the Program. They offer real time customer support unlike alot of ticketing Programs and free training to get you where you need to be to be a pro at it in no time!. It's simple... real simple! Don't need hours of training to learn it and it will do wonders for people that aren't tech savvy! Implementation was easy and the Integration was pretty simple. It makes it easy to use daily!

Do to our Business needs. There are things we have to work around. Like how we charge our MSAs and such. This program wasn't really build for this kind of business and it works so well that it's hard to think of what I don't like. Maybe partner up with Konica Minolta so we can get the Material prices parts automatically instead of looking them up and manually building our own database. I guess if there was a way buy the rights to use the program in an office to make things more centralized and offer service programs monthly for the support and extras, that be great, especially in the industry were in but it works well right now.

I am able to arrive at the project site, add the client's information, take pictures, add them to the estimate, write service agreements as needed, send to client's, and client can accept the estimate.  Then I can schedule the project to a technician, which then notifies the client and technician when it is scheuled and who is coming, the technician can let the client know when they are on the way, clock in to show how long the job took, click job is complete, and send invoice before they leave the property.

It would be nice to receive a text when estimates are approved or rejected vs receiving an email.
