"Hootsuite Makes Cross-Platform Scheduling and Reporting Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite excels at simplifying cross-platform social media scheduling and asset management. The drag-and-drop calendar interface makes organizing weekly content pipelines effortless. It significantly improves our workflow by eliminating the need to log into individual accounts, while the solid reporting tools give us clear insights into how our B2B marketing efforts are performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The pricing structure can be quite steep when scaling up B2B marketing efforts. For a manufacturing business trying to expand its multi-platform presence, adding extra users to collaborate on brand messaging pushes you into expensive enterprise tiers. Furthermore, some of the most critical analytics needed for tracking lead generation are locked behind these higher paywalls, which makes calculating the overall ROI challenging for mid-sized operations. "A Must for Social Media Managers"
4/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I love the ease of scheduling posts and finding data in reports that would otherwise take me forever on individual channels. The reporting is more reliable than Meta and X which changes too often and without reason. The few times I have talked to anyone on the Hootsuite team, they've been incredibly helpful and easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Thank you for allowing tagging after a post has been published! I would personally love integration with Asana so I can mark tasks as complete, let stakeholders know when posts have gone live or share live links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hootsuite Streamlines Multi-Platform Publishing and Engagement Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

In the past, managing my social media accounts required opening each individual platform to check messages etc., in addition to posting updates. Using Hootsuite allows me to publish updates across all my platforms, check messages, view engagement levels across platforms and compare performance across platforms without spending hours doing the same task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I dislike certain areas of the dashboard taking too long to locate. I also dislike the process of creating reports being too many clicks away. The fact that some design elements seem set (even though there are options) really bothers me. A small annoyance however it isn’t something I will go crazy over. "Hootsuite simplifies multi-network management and campaign steering"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite allows us to efficiently centralize the management of multiple social networks within a single interface. The scheduling of posts, coordination among team members, and visibility on the editorial calendar make daily management simpler and smoother. The performance tracking and monitoring tools also help us adjust our content, measure results, and save time in organizing and monitoring campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The main area for improvement concerns the complexity of certain settings, as well as the time required to master all the features. The reporting tools would also benefit from offering more customization and better readability. Finally, some limitations related to social networks or synchronizations can, at times, slow down the work. Despite these points, Hootsuite remains an effective solution for centralizing and managing our activity on social networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hootsuite Keeps Our Social Scheduling and Client Approvals in One Place"
4/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I work in Jaipur, India based marketing agency Drops. We provide copywriting, design, and social media management services, so handling many client accounts is part of my daily work. Hootsuite keeps everything in one place. It made easy to schedule posts and manage different social channels. Approval workflow is my favorite feature because clients can review content before it goes live, which saves a lot of back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

My biggest frustration is that Hootsuite keeps changing names of its products and features. New names are confusing, especially when I'm already used to the platform. I wish they kept things more consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Inbox 2.0 Makes Multi-Platform Engagement and Team Assignments Effortless"
4/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

How all my social networks can be viewed at a glance and posted to with relative ease. I very much appreciate the ability to develop a post and then refine it for each platform respectively. The Inbox 2.0 is by far my most used feature and it makes responding to mentions, comments, and messages a breeze!

Having Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram messages, comments, and mentions integrated into one space AND being able to assign them to team members has been invaluable for our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The backend for managing teams and members feels a bit outdated. Granting permissions to individuals has been a little bit of a headache at times where there is a bit of vagueness regarding how and which features we're giving permission for.

I have had struggles with the performance of the listening feature as far as narrowing results through booleans. Multiple times I have excluded a keyword or phrase only to see it appear in my results. That could likely be a user-error issue rather than a platform issue.

The pricing of the listening features has been a bit of an issue for our office, and in the two years since upgrading we have definitely underutilized it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly with Some Feature Gaps"
4/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I like the ease of use of Hootsuite; it's very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The convenience of having a snapshot of everything social in one spot is great. Scheduling social posts for multiple platforms in one place is really handy, and I appreciate having all our social analytics combined in one spot. The initial setup was very easy, and it's simple to link our social channels and pull all of our data in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I think that Hootsuite is missing a couple of opportunities and functions that these social platforms have natively, like posting both a photo and a video together on Facebook or adding platform audios on TikTok. Each social platform has a couple of unique helpful features that aren't integrated yet into Hootsuite. It would be beneficial if we were able to post both a photo and a video together in one post on Hootsuite, but this isn't a capability yet despite it being a function on both Facebook and X. "Reliable and easy to use social scheduler"
4/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I've been using Hootsuite for coming up to 6 years now. The core platform itself is user-friendly and intuitive, and good value for money.

I like the Hootsuite brand, its content, and what it stands for. If I reach out to a customer success rep, I can usually expect a pretty prompt response.

I am excited about new developments that Hootsuite is working on such as AI-generated content suggestions and improvements via OwlyWriter AI.

I would recommend the platform to others working in social. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Some of Hootsuite's added value features, aside from the core functionality, have been a bit clunky. We trialed the employee advocacy bolt-on, as well as the social listening, and weren't massively impressed with either of those.

Little things are annoying like when you've paid to have a verified Twitter account and thus are allowed an extended character count, but when scheduling through Hootsuite, this isn't allowed.

Sometimes bugs and doesn't share a post to a certain network for no obvious reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hootsuite Simplifies Social Media Management with Scheduling and Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite makes social media management easier by allowing you to manage multiple accounts from a single platform. Its main advantages include automatically scheduling posts, saving time, monitoring interactions and mentions, and accessing analytics on content performance. The value is very good compared to what I’m paying. The features, time savings, and ease of managing social media in one place make the cost worthwhile, especially for planning, scheduling, and monitoring content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite makes social media management easier by allowing you to manage multiple accounts but if you have many it could be a little confuse. I guess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All Our Social Channels in One Place—Fast, Stable Scheduling with Hootsuite"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I am so far down in my couch i think i might be able to grow roots, but i still needed to finish this. Hootsuite keeps all of our social media platforms in one place. It saves me from logging into each of the 5 apps daily. The posting tool works as expected. I am happy that it did not crash while i was creating the batch of posts for the week. You simply toggle the account on/off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

The monthly view with the calendar is very frustrating. In the monthly calendar view you can only see the little platform logos (i.e. Twitter logo) instead of the actual picture or text that will appear in your post. Occasionally when the site lags, some of the text disappears without warning and i cannot click an "undo" button to recover it, which causes me extreme frustration. Sometimes i lose connection to the accounts for no apparent reason either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
