It's easy to navigate and it's customizable. It has a lot of different features. It's a great place to communicate with others, share ideas, find resources, and talk to industry experts. Creating an online community for our employees and customers. A place to ask and answer questions, post training, and provide documentation. A place for people to post feedback for ideas and improvements to our solutions. We also use it to post announcements and can provide a "to-do" list for users. What do you like best about Higher Logic Thrive?

We use HigherLogic for both our website and our community. For our website, I like the BootStrap framework, because it is so responsive, mobile-friendly and open-source. For our community, I like that they help us to increase engagement, set community goals, and have so many features that are what we need! We also have single sign-on integration with our AMS, so our members find it SUPER convenient to only have one username and one password for all things relating to our association. Also, I just have to say a positive word about the HigherLogic Support team. I have never known software support people who responded so quickly and were so knowledgeable, and the knowledge extends not only to HigherLogic software but also to how it might interact with other systems (like AMS or email management), how browsers or versions might affect HigherLogic, etc. VERY HELPFUL!!. What do you dislike about Higher Logic Thrive?

I have to be honest and say there's not much I dislike at all. One possible improvement would be if reports were more "configurable" (meaning that I set up reports I want, rather than having to choose from a list of ones that are pre-made). Honestly that's not really much of a dislike, though, because they have made so many reports in so many ways that I'm able to find what I want to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our association is national, so it's difficult for our members to feel like they are "connected" to anything--an organization or each other. HigherLogic solved that issue 100%. In addition, it brought our website into the 21st century so we are mobile-friendly and responsive to any device (desktop, tablet or cell). Our membership is growing steadily, our engagement is increasing steadily as our members understand how to use the communities, and views to our page are continuing to increase steadily...after using HigherLogic for years! Higher Logic manages to offer the features that you want in an online community platform, but without gumming it up with extra modules that add little. Plus, they back up the platform with fantastic educational tools and support functions. Have been a customer for more than five years now and they continue to make incremental improvements that make it a more sturdy product while also adding new features that deliver larger leaps in performance. In the nine months since its launch, our online community has provided a valuable place for Members to gather, connect and collaborate. During the pandemic, this has been critically important, and we expect it to become ACF's top-rated benefit in a matter of time and remain heavily utilized well into the future. The learning curve. . . that said, as with any technology/platform, there is learning that is needed to utilize it fully. This isn't so much a negative as a reality. Once we made the strategic decision to invest in our Members by providing Higher Logic's online community, it was understood there would be lots to learn. There are several problems that the online community has done for us: 1) it's increased our value proposition, thereby helping our recruitment and retention efforts, 2) it's demonstrated to Members we care about their experience while encouraging them to connect with other members, 3) it's brought sub-groups within our overall membership closer together (i.e., Chapter Presidents), 4) it's provided our leadership an essential and "real-time" source of feedback from Members and 5) it's increased our desire to communicate more effectively and with more transparency than we had in the past.
